Five years ago was when it all began. Five years ago, there was a meteor shower. Stray fragments diverted and fell towards Earth. Many people have said that they saw these pieces of rock fall from the sky, all from around the world. With witnesses to the event, people eventually started searching for these pieces of the meteorites. What they found were small crystals, all a different color. They soon figured out that these crystals were special, embedding themselves in whoever finds it and filling them with powers. From that day of discovery, the world has never been the same. Some people have taken advantage of their newfound powers and begun to use them for evil purposes. One man in particular has decided to hunt down the many crystals scattered about, even those already embedded in a person, in the name of ultimate power. If you found these crystals, what would you do with them?

Rules

1. No godmodding, cybering, etc. Basically don't do something you shouldn't do
2. Respect each other! If not I will remove you from the RP
3. Title PMs "Supervillainy" for villains and "Crystals" for everyone else
4. Please be active if you're joining
5. Limit is 2 crystals at the start
6. No overpowered abilities! I'm excluding powers that manipulate space, time, reality. Powers that I'll accept can range from elementals to physical enhancements to anything else that seems nifty. Use your imagination, just don't go overboard.
7. I'd prefer to have a variety of different powers from people so I encourage that no more than 2-3 people have the same powers.
8. If planning to steal/take a crystal from someone, you must get consent from them. Taking a crystal from another could lead to death of the character.
9. I can add more rules later if I need to do so

Name: Reinherdt Hollows
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Romance is simply a vulnerability to be exploited by one’s enemies. It is a good tool, though, for use on anyone.
Bio: Reinherdt was raised by an evil man. A man whom felt that emotions corrupted thought processes, that free time was time to be used more wisely, and that his son must be the perfect man. With that being the case, when Reinherdt was adopted at the age of seven, not a second was wasted. He became very proper, extremely intelligent, and very cold. His adoptive father being a two-faced businessman/mob boss, Reinherdt was destined to inherit from both sides. When he was 17, Reinherdt fell in love. Being ahead of his time scholastically, he was already in his third year of college when he met Aimie, who was 19 at the time, a freshman and loved him for his intelligence. When she began to chip away at his coldness, they began to date in secret so his father would not find out. After a few months, however, he did, and used his mob to force her to move far away and end all contact with Reinherdt. Being told Aimie was dead, killed to refocus his education, Reinherdt’s personality was set in stone. Finishing his undergraduate years, Reinherdt planned and flawlessly executed the perfect murder of his father on his 20th birthday. This then made him a CEO and a mob boss. Having continued his education and completing his graduate degree by the time he turned 21, he was content with life until the meteor storm occurred. He hadn’t been hit by any of the crystals, but when word got out that these crystals granted powers, Reinherdt’s outlook on life changed. Hiring a new CEO and severing all ties with his father’s business other than the investments in the stock market to keep his income flowing, Reinherdt put all focus on the mob. He gave the mob a new name, the Holy Army, with himself having the title Holy Emperor. The members with new crystalline powers rose up in rank above the average members, and Reinherdt used the Holy Army to hunt down two crystals which he feels befit the Holy Emperor. He then had them implanted within his back, with no trace of them on his body.

Changing the image of the Holy Army from mob to mercenary group, Reinherdt has always had an agenda. A year after the meteor shower he met Roran, and seeing him as being incredibly useful, manipulated the man into joining the Holy Army, creating the position of Holy General, being the position directly under Holy Emperor. From there Aimie came back into his life, but with the six years having passed since he believed her to be dead, he felt nothing. She showed interest in the Holy Army, though Reinherdt knew she was only trying to stay close to him, so when she acquired her own crystals, he tested her and found her befitting of the second Holy General position. During that same year he met Sco and convinced the psychopath to be his third Holy General. With no plans for a fourth, Reinherdt was, for the third time in his life, surprised when Sco showed up with his creation and ridiculously attached lover Luna. With her incredible strength, she became the fourth Holy General.
Crystal Effects: Both of his crystals are clear. The first, implanted behind his left lung, grants him the power to control subatomic particles. It was found in a crater that was no doubt created by the previous owner whom lacked the ability to control energy, and thus caused a nuclear explosion the first time the power was used. As such, the second crystal, behind his right lung, grants him the ability to control energy. Together they grant him one power, the ability to control matter.

Other: Reinherdt doesn’t tolerate failure from the lower ranked subordinates, and highly values those whom hold crystals. After all, anyone who can be convinced to join him is better left alive ((in other words, I won’t use his ability to control matter as a means to disintegrate your characters, unless it’s been agreed upon, of course)).

Age: 38

Bio: Roran was a happily married man of 7 years before the crystals hit. When they did, his twin brother was hit by two. To make the love triangle story short, Roran’s twin utilized his new powers to seduce Roran’s wife, whom them left him. In his rage he murdered them both. As he sat there, covered in their blood, staring at their corpses, Roran cut out the visible crystal his brother had, stealing it. He was unable to find the other crystal, though, and the murders were seen as crystal theft. The crystal he stole granted him two abilities. One, the ability to form wings of blue light on his back, which does allow him to fly, and two, the ability to cast spells. Crossing paths with Reinherdt a year after the meteor storm, he chose to join the Holy Army, and became the first Holy General.
Crystal Effects: A blue crystal of the same shade as his wings, lodged into his chest right above his heart, grants him the ability to form wings made of light, allowing him to fly, and to cast spells. These spells are elemental in nature, however he is not an elementalist. He cannot make the elements do any more than what each spell features. To see what the spells look like (video form, if I can find ‘em), just let me, Blaze, know.

Other: Roran isn’t necessarily upbeat, but is rather quite unless spoken to or he has something to say. Ever since killing his brother and wife, he’s always had a nagging feeling that he will one day meet his brother again. Not really believing in destiny, he is almost certain of this fated encounter, and he fears it tremendously.

Bio: Aimie had lived a good life, a happy life. She was a very cheery girl, never hating anything until she was in college. Having met this boy two years younger than her, yet two years ahead of her scholastically, he was the only polite boy whom focused on his studies, and she became interested. Before long, she found she loved him, and soon learned he loved her too. But to her despair, they could not openly see each other. So for a few months they kept their relationship private. Hearing stories of Reinherdt’s father, she began to fear the father of the man she loved. Then one day they blew it, and one of his father’s men caught her kissing his cheek. That night some large men came to her dormitory door and told her she had to leave, that night, or her family would pay. Fearing not only for her own life, but for her family’s and Reinherdt’s, she moved to Europe, finishing her education there and allowing Reinherdt to believe her dead. Never forgetting him, she lived for the day she could return to see him. A few relationships popped up here and there, but none of them could replace him, and she knew it. When she was 22, word hit the world that the famed Mr. Hollows had passed away. Overjoyed, she spent the next three years arranging to move back in hopes of surprising her truest love. Returning when she was 25, she found Reinherdt, a wealthy man thanks to inheritance, and the boss of a mercenary company, the Holy Army. Working her way into a meeting with her college sweetheart, there was nothing sweet about the reunion. He was clearly surprised at her existence, and she learned he had thought her dead, and that his heart had turned to stone. After being turned away, told that there was nothing for her with him, she made the decision to stay by his side, and hopefully one day she would return him to the self he had been six years prior, the self in which he was emerging from the hard shell his father had forced him into. Knowing the only way to convince him to let her stay was to gain her own powers, she hunted down crystals, finding one, and taking one by force. She justified the killing of that girl for the sake of making a good man great again, though she will never forgive herself for it. Once having gained her powers, she requested admittance into the Holy Army, and after a few tests was overjoyed that Reinherdt felt her good enough to be the second Holy General.
Crystal Effects: Both of her crystals are small and are underneath the gloves on her hands, barely piercing the surface of her skin, though still visible when the gloves are off. On her right hand is a dark, deep red crystal, which grants her the ability to control blood of any kind, and on her left hand is an equally deep purple crystal, granting her telekinesis.

Other: Aimie will use her body to get what she wants if necessary, but will always be true to Reinherdt. It pains her to see him using romance in the same way, but she knows that until she fixes him, this is how he’ll be. His bluntness sometimes pains her as well, for his words can cut deep, but she does her best to make him happy, and above all else will do whatever it takes to stay by his side. After all, she’s proven this once before…

Bio: Sco was a very simple, educated, graduate student before the meteor storm. He had been at an outdoor concert when the storm occurred. He had gone to get drinks for he and his date, leaving the pavilion’s cover, when the shard, a red pink, pierced his head. He had passed out from it, or at least seemed to, for he was fully conscious, but couldn’t move, for something within the crystal was mutilating his mind. When he awoke, ten minutes had passed, and he felt fine. Well, he was now a psychopath, but one which could control himself. Passing the rest of the night off as normal, he murdered his date, whom had been the first person he saw after waking up, in cold blood at her house. He then grew out his hair and dyed it so the crystal would blend in and no one would notice. He’s now a serial killer, albeit one that seems normal unless he’s acting crazy. Sco is the third Holy General to be recruited by Reinherdt. They met when Sco had been hired to kill him, but when Reinherdt became the only victim Sco couldn’t kill, a respect for the man was formed, and Sco began following him. Sco only does so, however, so that one day he may slay Reinherdt, his greatest opponent yet. This is common knowledge among the Holy Generals, too.
Crystal Effects: The one embedded in his scalp grants him the ability to control a pink energy that takes the form of laser beams (ask me, Blaze, for visuals, if desired).

Other: He’s crazy. Full blown psychopath. You may not see it coming, though. Also, he’s credited with the creation of Luna.

Age: 3, though she looks much older.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Needs sex, literally.
Bio: Luna was created by Sco, whom lacks any sort of power allowing him to do so. What happened was Sco wanted a play thing he could violate, so he hunted down and forced multiple crystal users with the power of creation to create Luna before massacring them. During the process, though, Sco added in some of his energy via his beams, causing her eyes to turn a similar shade of pink to that of his beams. This interruption, however, caused her biology to be messed up, and her body now demands sexual pleasure for her own stability, it being the first sensation she ever felt. Sco being the one to provide this sensation that first time, became her fixation, much to his delight, and she now yearns for him constantly. When apart, she’ll have others pleasure her, her being extremely attractive and seductive, but if he’s around, she much prefers him. She does anything he asks of her, and even helps him when he’s on the hunt for fresh meat when he desires it. In fact, she became the fourth Holy General simply because Sco told her to listen to everything Reinherdt tells her. A week after her creation Sco jammed two crystals, which provided powers he found useful, into her skin under the fold of her breasts, the crystals imbedded to the point that they are not visible.
Crystal Effects: The crystal under her right breast is black and mutated her body into the form given with four wings, granting her the ability to fly. The crystal under her left breast is white and allows her to control light in two forms; first is she can form the light into any sort of shape, more specifically any weapon, and two she can utilize it as energy beams in a way identical to Sco’s pink energy beams.

Bio: Everyone always called her "troubled" when she was just a wee little lad, and she grew up to prove them wrong. In fact, she was more trouble than troubled. She harassed everyone, the harassment being sexual for the girls because she liked touching them. Then she moved on to dissecting animals before they died, and then she got a crystal and was extremely happy, and happier when she took another one from a cute girl who didn't exactly want to give it up.
Crystal Effects: Grey one lets her change her form, violet-black one lets her harness chaotic energy, allowing her to either use it as a short-range (3-4 meters) weapon, or teleport 9-10 meters.

Now he seeks more crystals to make the world pay. Only once had he hunted someone and they evaded him. The wretch also managed to scar his left eye!
Crystal Effects: His nails form points and are sharp. They are stronger than metal. His blood red crystals also gives him the power to drain a foe's health speed and strength indefinitely.

He did such work that one day his employers tried to kill him, and it was while he was on the run that he obtained his first crystal; he got the second one from the leader of the gang, after removing head from body.
Crystal Effects: Green one lets him change his form from his winged "angel" form, and a half-wolf form. Blue one lets him turn energy into a weapon.

If he had the guts, he'd gladly talk to the guys he'd seen around town.

Bio: A well read boy, he grew up in a smaller town. Even in a small town, though, he was somewhat of an outcast, not really being noticed. He lived with a smile on his face, though, going through life as if it didn't bother him. It did. When the crystals fell, one landed through his roof, cutting into his house until it crashed into his cellar. He didn't know what it was when he reached for it, but he never cursed the loss of his eyesight. It helped hide the stares of people not "gifted" with crystals. One day, a man came to his home seeking Scott's crystal. Scott made an animal to help him fight his way out and he escaped. Now he roams from town to town, looking for a place to belong.
Crystal Effects: The crystal increases his senses but it had taken away his sight. It has also increased these senses to sensitivity, accept smell. The other power is that of organic creation. He can create creatures of his choosing, but without magical powers. If something is created, it must be scientifically sound. The lifeforms share his intelligence or pieces of it. The larger ones last a week max while smaller ones last a month max. No creatures main body gets larger than a horse.

Bio: Will was just a regular kid looking out at a meteor shower five years ago, at least until a crystal broke off and embedded itself into his left eye. Luckily, it didn't kill him, like any other piece of debris would have at that speed. Instead, Will's vision was reduced, forcing him to wear glasses, but in return, he found he was capable of bending light. The next day, he went out into the field behind his house to look for any more crystals that might have landed, with a little luck, he found another one, this one allowed him to glimpse into the past of almost anything he could touch
Crystal Effects: Light Manipulation, The other allows Will to see the past of almost any object he touches. This only works with solids. Objects that are liquid or gas cannot be "scanned"

He picked up the light green shard and embedded it in his chest between his tattoos. With this shard he is able to control wind just by making some motion and using it his power he can fly where ever now. He said another crystal, a dark blue one which is embedded beneath his belly button. this one allows him to change forms into a dark blue Chinese dragon

Bio: Skye and her older brother found their crystals four years ago. Hers was a light blue color while his was a bright yellow, both embedded into their arms. They hid it from their parents and everyone else, always covering up their arms with long sleeve shirts or jackets. They promised to only use it when they were in danger. Two years ago, a robber broke into their house, killing her parents with the same powers that they had. He went after them next, trying to kill them. Her brother protected her, badly wounding the robber, but received the same wounds. The robber fled and her brother pulled out his crystal, giving it to Skye, knowing that he wouldn't survive. She put it close to her heart and there it was embedded. She hated people that abused their powers and hated that her brother had to die for her.
Crystal Effects: Ice manipulation (moisture from the air or any other water source) and lightning manipulation (must absorb energy first from somewhere before using)

Other: She doesn't use her lightning powers often, only when she really needs to. She keeps the crystal hidden and likes to surprise her enemies.

Sexuality: Straight - for now
Bio: Reyna had been at the beach, laying out on the farthest rock from shore that she could fit on, just watching the meteor shower. She was all alone, and relaxed, enjoying the view, when all of a sudden, something struck her in the face, knocking her out, followed by something striking her in the heart. When she awoke, she found that she now had a crystal in each spot that she had been hit.
Crystal Effects: The green crystal embedded in Reyna's heart gives her elemental control, while the purple one embedded in her forehead gives her the power of Empathy.

Other: Reyna is strong and a bit stubborn. She is protective of the ones she cares about and is a fierce fighter. She tends to be a bit of a loner, but knows how to take the lead when in a group. She always has a knife on her - just because. She keeps her crystals covered by very high-quality, waterproof, and resistant makeup she secretly orders with her mom's credit card, or steals from her theatre bag when she isn't looking. She doesn't want to take chances when it comes to people seeing her crystals.

Gender: Female
Sexuality: ...
Bio: Claire is a wandering british muscian who found a silver crystal when she had taken a break during a gig. She had been standing outside the bar she was playing at when she saw something glittering in the gutter and had bent down to investigate. When she tried to pick it up, the crystal imbedded itself into her left hand. After the first few mishaps, she managed to get some control over her new abilities and has managed to keep the crystal hidden.
Crystal Effects: Manipulates luck, though it's hard to control and often backfires so she doesn't use it often

Other: She only owns a guitar and violin, but she can also play piano and harp

Gaia Name: Anniria
Name: Cassandra Geiger
Age: 24
Gender: female
Sexuality: loves sex.... period
Bio: Cassandra was a normal rave girl, at an outdoor rave that had been put together last minute because of the meteor shower and someone thought it would be a neat background for a rave. A shard from one meteorite hit her embedding itself in her chest and causing the her first explosion, thankfully it was harmless and was mostly just an explosion of heat and neon green light, thus the rave went on and Cassie forgot about the shard, too hopped up on drugs and rave music to even feel it until the next day.
Crystal Effects: can create various sized explosions, usually able to survive them but she theorizes that she could sacrifice herself to create an explosion on par with an atomic bomb, oddly enough, the explosions are neon green
