Branduff was making his daily rounds searching the forest for prey or at least something to play with. He sighed. "Same old, same old why is it always the same?" He gave a slight flap of his large ebony and blood red wings. He had an idea that he was sure he couldn't regret. He had always tried to avoid this option, though he had no idea why. This was the time that he would exceed his self-set limits and fly further out. There was a whole world out there and he was beginning to feel restricted like a pet with clipped wings.
Branduff flew for maybe only twenty minute more than usual which was truly nothing to him. He was mentally taking in the new surroundings, he may never go back to his old part of the woods he could plant new poison rose gardens, right? As the young Faenix was lost in thought he flew over a house. . .a house?
Branduff did a double take. "Why is this here?" He looked around and noticed he had been flying over a whole new location, a clearing in the middle of no where surrounded by a hedge maze. . .he was now extremely curios. What kind of creature would do this sort of thing?
At this point he took his landing and began to snoop around near the front door.

Alice hummed a strange little ditty as she wandered the hedge maze close to the house. She could always find her way out-it was her dear brother's design after all, and she knew his mind as well as anyone. She was used to it just being the two of them-well, the two of them and the occasional girl her brother brought home, but they were all delightful and she didn't mind them borrowing him one bit.
She came to the edge of the maze nearest the front door, and let out a little giggle. "Oh my my, what comes here? Are you lost, little birdie?" She asked, looking at the back of her visitor. Ooh, he was pretty from the back, but she wanted to see him from the front too~! "Won't you turn around and look at me? I don't bite, and I'm not that hideous...well, I don't think I am..."

Branduff had heard humming off in the distance with his keen since of hearing. After all he was just a large bird. He tried to push it behind him, if someone were to approach him he would simply provoke them, it was one of his many talents. Behind him he heard the most interesting little giggle, it was almost cute. . .if he where to think things where cute. He didn't. A girls voice spoke up, it could be a very feminine girl, he thought. Branduff let out a small chuckle, you could tell that he had a hint of anger. He was not a little birdie. The Faenix turned purposely to where his hair lightly billowed in the wind, "Oh hello there Miss. Fox." He winked at her and ran his fingers through his hair, he was over-doing it by far. He really was teasing though. . .this male had no intention of sticking around for long or for any. . .affairs.

Alice's giggle was much more girlish now. Ooh, he was as cute from the front as he was from the back! Wondrous~! This one, she didn't plan on letting go. Ever. She'd let far too any interesting boys slip away in the name of the entertainment provided by watching them try to find their way out of the house or the garden.
"It's Alice, Alice Cardell. Won't you come inside, handsome, and have a bit of tea with me~?" She offered. Once she had him inside, she didn't plan on letting him back out. But he didn't need to know that, oh no, he never needed to know that. Besides, she'd work hard and make him very happy and he wouldn't even notice he was cooped up in the house all day! [i[And he was definitely flirting with her, right? That's what the wink and the fingers in the hair was! So he was clearly interested!

"What a fancy name." Branduff poked the fox's nose. "Tea, hm? Are you trying to live up to that Fancy name, Alicee?" He let out a little hiss while saying her name. "Honestly, I despise tea." He looked towards the sky, "Aren't you too old for tea parties anyway?" After he spoke the Faenix looked towards her. She had an interesting gleam in her eye. Maybe staying for a bit would be interesting? After all he hadn't done enough not to regret his journey. This way the only place for cool points. Maybe after he did something amazing, one of the few female Faenix would go for him. He looked towards the girl again. "Okay, 'll come in but I would prefer. . .wine. . .only the finest." He nodded now tapping his chin with his finger.

Alice giggled a little as he poked her nose, but immediately looked utterly devastated when he declared he despised tea. Her ears drooped sadly and her entire expression went "puppy-eyes." "Oh, I didn't know...I like tea, I drink it quite often, you see, my brother and I, we do..." She was rambling a bit, her tail twitching. Nonono he couldn't get away from her no. no. no!
She perked up when he agreed to come in after all. "Wine? Oh, we have wine~!" She said. They certainly did, the previous owners had left it. "Though I don't know all that much about it...you'll com with me to get it, won't you? Otherwise I might bring you something that's not very good and I'd hate to do that." She said. She leaned close to him to reach around and open the door, allowing them inside.

He smiled being very please now, wine would make him quite happy. He followed the little siren of a fox inside and looked around the large house intrigued. He glanced around the house more and was half tempted to flap his wings. But, he knew he would destroy something. . .it wasn't time for that. For some reason Branduff didn't realize what a evil little thing this girl was, he was too busy thinking about the praise he would get when he returned home. "I sure hoe to have something decent enough." By the looks of this house it would be amazing, the poor guy had never had a sip of wine in his life anyway. "So Miss. Cardell. . .or is it Mrs? Anywho how did you obtain such a large and lovely home, and such an. . .interesting yard?."

Alice let him go in first, and there was a soft click of her locking the door behind them. She forced herself not to giggle as she walked up to stand next to him, "accidentally" brushing those pretty wings of his with the tips of her fingers.
"The wine cellar is this way~" she said, walking over to what appeared to be a plain wall. She tapped it a few time sin different places until it echoed back hollow and a panel slid away, revealing a staircase. "It's Miss, just Miss Cardell, there's no Mr. Cardell-well, I guess there is, but he's my brother and we're definitely not that way." She turned back to face him, managing to navigate the bizzarely twisting stairs backwards. "Well, there was someone else here. He's gone now. He built the basic part of the house, and the wine cellar is his. Lewis and I added to it and made this house so so much more interesting! My brother's an architect, you see, he designs the very best things~"

Branduff nodded as if he where actually paying attention to what she said about her brother. Another one of his many talents was appearing to actually care. "I see, I see." He nodded once more and then stopped. "Well I'm fairly sure it would be easy to get lost in this place. What does he do, lure cute girls to their death?" He laughed. This Faenix seriously was clueless sometimes, not always. . .but sometimes. Branduff stretched and ruffled his feathers. "So what are we going to do over our wine tea party? I hope no stuffed animals are invited." He eyed her wondering if she had tea parties with her teddies.

Alice laughed at his suggestion. "No, of course not." She batted it off with a wave of the hand as she led him down the stairs and into the rather vast wine cellar. "Well, not on purpose, and sometimes he does bring cute girls home. But the never stay, and he doesn't seem to want them to." She sighed.
She reached the bottom of the stairs and then turned to face him, arms crossed and a frown on her face. "Of course no stuffed animals are invited." There was a hint of 'how old do you think I am?' in her tone, and she let her ears droop a bit. "Well," she turned around, "let's see what wines we have for you, hmm?"

He nodded. "Good, I'm not to fond of their beady little eyes." He smirked and shook his head. Branduff wondered around in the cellar and began to search through the wine on his own. He pawed through them and and found some "Faenix Wine." "Well this seems to be just the right thing for me," he chuckled and threw it under his arm. "too the dining room, Little Miss?" He nudged her and then headed up the stairs way too excited to have a sip of this drink. "So why did you invite me in the first place? I was trespassing, ya'know."

Alice giggled at his selection. "Just right for you indeed~" She said. She giggled and ducked around to get in front of him. "Best be careful and let me lead, never know when the stairs are going to go a different place but I can always get where I need to go." She paused for a moment when he asked why she'd invited him in. "Well, you're cute, and Lewis is out so I'm ever so lonely. I was hoping you'd keep me company for a little while..." She turned back, pulling off her best "cute, sad girl" face.

Branduff nodded. "Wouldn't want me to get lost." He smirked and winked. "Cute, eh?" the Faenix reached over and ruffled her hair inevitably messing it up. "Well thanks, I think. . .but I prefer handsome. . .or hot. . .or. . .sexy. Yeah, sexy. That's the right word to describe me." He winked again and contuniued to follow up the stairs. "Don't want you to be lonely now, do we? I guess I'll have to stick around for the day."

Alice giggled. "Of course not~" she said, walking fairly quickly. Only the presence of stairs and Branduff kept her from literally skipping. A bit childish? Oh yes, but she wanted to play the suave lady a bit for him, that seemed to be what he wanted...
"Handsome, hot, sexy?" She seemed to ponder for a bit, even tapping her chin. "...Yes, all those things too, of course!" She laughed, glee bubbling up in her as he confirmed that he would indeed be staying for the day. "I'll be sure to keep you plenty entertained~"

Branduff grinned and once they reached the top of the stairs he gave her a kiss on the cheek, only wanting to tease her. "Why thank you my dear lady, you're pretty attractive yourself." The young Faenix grinned and winked at her. He draped his arm over her shoulder and glanced around as he stretched his elegant wings. "Where too Miss. Alice?" his voice sounded a little mischievous. All in all he thought he was tricking this seemingly rich fox into giving him fine wine and such. He had no idea there was going to be trickery on both ends.
