xxxxxxx● biography ↘ Con was born in France, and is proud to say that his parents once sat atop Notre Dame. He grew up in Europe, flitting around mostly the older areas where his family wouldn’t be very conspicuous. They’ve been to so many places, like Paris and Rome. He loves to share his travel stories. He attended mortal schools for most of the beginning of his life, and found that they were interesting enough, but boring to him. He only went because he had nothing to do during the day, as his Mother is forced into her stone sleep when the sun rises and his father refuses to leave her side. He’s glad that the Sun Sleep will not affect him until he’s older.
His father attended Asylum Academy almost fifty years ago, and when he received an invitation for Con he was sent off immediately. He can’t say that he’s disappointed; the Academy has given him friends he’d never thought he’d find. He’s determined to make sure that his last year at the Academy is the best he has ever attended. He’s sure that now as he’d student council president, he’ll be able to make a difference.

As a protective species it comes to no surprise that he is rather defensive of his friends, and he’s a loyal companion to those who become close to him. If anything, Con can be describes as the opposite of his nickname, he is one of the most trusting and trustworthy people in school. That’s gotten him some trouble before, but at least your secrets are safe with him. He has trouble speaking up when things get out of hand.

xxxxxxx● biography ↘ Amorette is actually the daughter of a women who owns an orphanage. Her mother is an immortal gypsy but doesn't wear the whole get-up of one. Her mother has the power to be able to look into someone's eyes and see how they are feeling and know their whole past so that she can help them. That is why she started the orphanage.
Amorette was born, of course, 9 months after her mother mated when another werecat. He was a great, loving man. The two of them got married a few months after Amorette was born. They wanted their little baby girl to be able to be in their wedding. Her mom had start the orphanage a few years before, so they all just homed there. Amorette was always mommy and daddy's little girl, clinging to both of her parents the same. Which made them both extremely happy. Especially when they watched their little girl play with the other kids of the orphanage.
Amorette completely got all of her father's genetics. She was born as a werecat and she is only partially immortal. Which means she will live much longer than the normal being but will die some point in time. Unlike her dear mother. The thing she did get from her mother was the ability to use magic. Her mother is able to use healing magic along with her other ability. Amorette is also able to heal very fast.
When she was 10 years old, Amorette lost her father to poison. An old enemy of his found them one day. He acted as if he wanted to be her father's friend. So he acted kind and won her whole family over. One day he took her father out for diner. And when they were eating, he secretly poisoned her father's drink somehow. He slowed died in an ally where the man left him when he ran away. Her and her mother worried and two mornings later they were told the devastating news.
Her mother feel into a depressed but it only lasted a few months. With the love of Amorette and the kids of the orphanage, she was able to be happy again and smile and live her life just as her husband would have wanted her to.
Amorette's name means 'Little love'. It doesn't mean it in a way that means she was a cold heart, but that is the nickname her mother gave her when she was still in the womb. Her mother would always sing her little songs and often speak with her calling her 'My little love kitten~". When Amorette was a freshman, her mom sent her to Asylum Academy when she got the invitation. Amorette and her mom both love the school and Amorette is always excited about going back!
xxxxxxx● personality ↘ The up side about Amorette is her ability to always find the positives in situations. She always has a poker face though but constantly smiles when she is around others and the ones she cares about. She is mostly kind hearted. She isn't too passive or aggressive. She is assertive and knows when she has too much on her plate. The student council taught her that. So she has learned to say no. She is very caring and tries to be a peace keeper of sorts.
The down side of Amorette is that she can be very judgmental. She is easily angered sometimes and can get a little over protective. Also she can have a bad temper and snaps at people when she is very tired or in a super bad mood. Which she ends up apologizing for when she is in a better mood. And she doesn't take well to yelling or criticize because her parents were so kind to her growing up and never really yelled at her. Amorette will sometimes run from her problems to avoid being negative feelings. She is trying to break that habit since it comes to bite her in the butt eventually. She also tries to hide her feelings because she doesn't know how to express them and she is very oblivious to obvious things.

If she is too exhausted though her magic won't work. And she might shift if her body is under too much negative pressure/exhaustion/ect. And she has no control over which form she might take on.

His mother is a straight decedent of one of the more powerful witches who where able to escape persecution at the hands of humans. His ancestors slowly moved across the country taking shelter where they could from the prying eyes of man. They eventually after decades of travel arrived in Europe finally settling down in the outskirts of St. Ives on the coast.
This is where the boys father was met an alchemist and minor necromancer/delver into the dark arts. Due to his work the place where he conducted his experiments was rather secluded and away from the prying eyes of those who would not understand. The two of them met under odd circumstances within a graveyard where the boy's father was caught by her rifling thru graves. They hit it off easily and soon were wed the ceremony taking place on the coast.
It was not long until Kael was brought into the world. He was from birth blessed with his mothers magics and his father's thirst for knowledge. These gifts however where his downfall in a way as not long after his tenth birthday he delved into a course of magics neither of his parents had planned for him to unravel. The cost of it was both a gift and curse as the acquisition of the abilities of life and blood magics left a marking on him. This is the catalyst for spells of that branch that shows undeniable proof that he is a warlock of the darkest branch.
His parents for want to remove the persecution from there son being the he was marked by the clan decided to do the only thing they could think of. They had him enrolled within the Asylum Academy. It was here that they hoped around ones not just warlocks and witches he would not be persecuted for his actions. It didn't take long for him to adjust to his new life and adapt to the life of the school. He does however still practice, experiment, and study upon the school of magics he was all but cast out for ascertaining.

She was eventually found by other magically oriented beings at the age of twelve who started teaching her to be more 'civilized', though they still allowed her to run free with her family of wolves.
She was invited to attend Asylum Academy which she reluctantly agreed to do. She struggles with her studies more than most of the other students since she started learning later on in her life, and also has some issues communicating since human speech doesn't come easily to her. Despite these difficulties, she does her best to make it through.

Unlike some children in the world, she was raised by a loving mother and father, although her parents relationship wasn't always a walk in the park, and had her big brother, Anko, to watch out for her and hang out with.
Growing up as a shape shifter with humans rather than her own kind, though, kept her from doing many of the things she wanted; Like sports and making friends. As a child, she didn't exactly understand what was so different about her and the humans, but she was told to never reveal their secret..and she never did. Doing so made her a very independent and lonely person, never really having a friend like the others did and never able to do the things her kind were meant to do. It was just all so confusing to her when she was a kid.
But, as she grew up and her instincts developed, she started to understand what was so different and why she couldn't hang out with the humans. She would've just scared them away. Her abilities where slightly more enhanced than the humans and she could transform into a Lion. It wasn't worth it to be friends with them, she knew now; and so, she decided it was time to go. To be what she really was with people who would accept her even though it meant leaving the two people she loved the most. She convinced her brother to tag along and together they formed their own sort of pride, finding Jezzi along the way and their new home,

xxxxxxx● biography ↘ Anko, just like his sister, grew up with their wonderful, loving parents whom always took care and loved them; though Anko was able to experience something his sister was never really able to: living with their own kind. Anko was raised by his parents and their pride the first few years of his life, while Belle only spent about two years with them before they broke up and moved into a little human suburb. Being so young, she couldn't remember being raised by anyone of her kind. Although, Anko himself couldn't remember much. Most of his memories from then consisted of shifting, and running, and freedom. But, Anko knew he had to look out for his little sister and keep and eye on her so she wouldn't slip up and tell their secret. As she got older, she stopped asking why. It was like she finally accepted it to stay hidden, but he was wrong. When she turned 16, and he 18, she came to him with an offer. Something she'd apparently been thinking of for a while. She told him that they could leave, to either be with their own kind or to find a place they could be themselves even though it meant leaving mom and dad. Eventually, he agreed and they were off to find something, together. During one night around the fire, while Belle was sitting far enough that she could feel the heat but tot be close to the fire, Anko came up with an Idea. To make their own sort of pride. Soon after they found Jezzi and the acadamy.

xxxxxxx● biography ↘ Jezzi grew up in a very independent kind of family and Pride. Although she was around others like her, she was never actually close to anyone because of how independent they were and ever since she was a little girl, she knew she wouldn't be there forever. She did love her parents, and she did love her pride, but she longed for something more out of her life. Everything was so boring there. Her lifestyle was kind of backwards compared to Anko's and Belle's, where they had a close nit, tiny family but never were around anyone of their own kind.
When Jezzi grew older, she told her parents what she'd planned to do. To leave and look for something more. Her parents disagreed and ordered her to stay but she couldn't. She left that night when everyone was asleep, shifted, and just started running. She had no idea where she was going, just hoped that wherever her legs took her would lead to something great.
She was gone for a long while, just walking and starting to loose hope as she went no where. Then, in the early morning, she saw two other people getting up from their little 'camp' site in the woods and leave everything behind, not that it was anything they needed. There was something about them, the dirt on their clothes and faces, or the connection between the two in general that sprouted hope inside her once more. That was the day she met Belle and Anko, and she'd never looked back.

She doesn't mean to come off as a b***h, it's just how she was raised. Despite her little attitude at times though, she doesn't have nearly as bad of a temper as Belle can. Even so, Jezzi is much like belle when it comes to friends. She'll always be there, she's hard to make angry but if you do, she'll tell you, and she will never judge you.

xxxxxxx● biography ↘ Stoirme, though old compared to most, is still considered young by her race, probably being in her early to mid twenties by dragon years. She has spent most of her life traveling and learning various forms of magic across the world though she prefers working with the elements. She rarely speaks about or with her parents, not because of having a horrible child hood, but because there really isn't much to say since dragons don't really communicate with each other often except for mating, raising their young, and deciding territory. There are a few exceptions, but not many.
She came across the school and was somehow persuaded to stay and teach history, though no one is really sure how the headmistress managed that. Since then, Stoirme is either seen teaching, sleeping, or roaming restlessly outside, though she's mostly seen sleeping. There was one incident since she started teaching that happened around 10 years ago where she destroyed half the school before being calmed down, though no one knows what set her off and she refuses to talk about it.

Often seen in his hound form rather than his human form when not teaching, Fain has always expressed an interest in the lives of students, primarily in other animalistic species. There’s no short supply of reasons behind his love for his anatomy classes, which discuss not only human anatomy, but anything he could possible dissect, pull apart, or otherwise inspect.
Fain has been teaching since the school opened, though it took him a year of study before he could teach in his human form. The pictures from the first years of the school all show him in his dog form. Contrary to popular belief, seeing Professor Fain three times in dog form, looking him in the eye, or speaking his name thrice into the bathroom mirrors will not cause a freshman’s untimely death. Please stop spreading rumors, seniors.

Like most of his race, though there aren’t many around these days, he enjoys anything that causes a good show. You can get on his good side rather easily, and it’s very hard to make him angry.
