As far as I know it's usually just sold online. Some shops may have them but it's usually them buying it and selling them as a markup. You can also download/print off the cards.

You can actually play the game online; if you Google "pretend you're xyzzy" you should find the website that is, essentially, an online version of the game. It has every expansion pack that has been released.
