Last year History had been fascinating for Sonora-- Their lessons about the Ollivander Family had inspired her to take Wandlore this year, and Beedle the Bard had put Mythology on her shortlist--even if she hadn’t ended up taking it. She hadn’t been very thorough previewing for this year but surely the way history overlapped with everything would mean she would have plenty of opportunity to sneak little reviews in. Just yesterday in Alchemy they had read a little about a NIcholas Flamel that was also mentioned somewhere in A History of Magic.
Sona waited for a moment when Professor Powell called for a review, thinking Vespera next to her was going to answer first or offer up a subject. When she didn’t volunteer anything though, Sona was happy to start them talking about wandlore-related topics: ”We covered the Ollivander Family, an esteemed family of wandmakers, last year.” She hesitated a little after that but decided not to continue and let someone else add on instead.
