Eric wonderful green emerald eyes lightly flowed over the words in the letters that came for him and Valick. When he read where the meeting will be and when it will be, then also reading that either of them can see Rebecca till they had a talk with Sebastet. Eric growled annoyed and frustrated as he crinkled up the paper throwing it to the floor.
Eric hated how Sebastet got to him so easy, he hated people that had more power then him, even most of all a women having more power then him. He never dared displease her, but he had to try to talk her out of this one, Rebecca was his and he was not going to let her, take her away from him so easy.
Valick dark blue eyes didn't get bothered by what he read, he hated that he couldn't see Rebecca right away, but he will wait the best he can to see her. Eric only brought him along cause he thinks Valick will be able to talk Rebecca out of this, but Valick didn't really tell Eric that he was on his side on this. Valick just wanted to see Rebecca, get her thoughts on why she wants to do this and if he saw that light in her eyes that she really wanted this, he will accept to let her have as she wished, but he hopes maybe she will be alright with him staying there with her. He hated not being around her, he always felt like a better person when she was around him. He could sense her feelings a bit but they seemed a little hard to read, she was different in a way and that worried him a bit.
Valick looked over at Eric when he noticed him toss his letter to the floor frustrated. Valick stay clear from Eric through the whole trip, seeing every second that passed was another thought of what he was going to do to Rebecca to punish her from this. If Rebecca was safe here and she really wanted to do this, he would be glad to have her be kept away from Eric once and for all.
When there escort came to take them to the castle, Eric didn't bother looking around the place as he has been there many times before, but Valick looked around for sure as it was his first time being to the Castle. When they went through the garden, They both could smell Rebecca's scent from her walking through the garden earlier, Valick smelled something different about her scent and that just made him worry even more.
There escort bring to Sebastet tower and to her office. Eric paced the floor a little as he waited for Sebastet to arrive, he was working hard on his words to not sound rude to her but to win over this meeting. Valick didn't really care much to talking to Sebastet, as he walked over to the leather seats and sat down waiting, thinking wondering what Rebecca was doing right now, noticing that they were much closer now but there connection felt different, it felt turned down and he didn't like it one bit. |

Sebastet walked into her office and ignored both men as she approached the wall with the bladed weapons on it and pulled down one particularly wicked-looking dagger then headed over to her desk to lean one leather-clad hip against it.
She didn't say anything to them at all just yet. Her walk had been as feline as she was; silent, her hips moving in a sensual sway, her tail swinging gently behind her. Her outfit probably wasn't helping their composure much, though she didn't really care about their composure: leather bustier and shorts colored in a pale gray and black to match the stripes in her fur, barefoot, daggers strapped to her thighs, sword sheath attached to her back but hidden by her hair which was partially braided. That hairdo was a traditional Hylarr style, though the two men wouldn't likely know it: hair mostly loose but carrying several individual braids that had strange pieces holding the braids at the ends, a strange metallic ball with a four-sided metallic piece dangling from each ball. They looked harmless but were far from it.
Truthfully, she'd dressed for Lio tonight. But she also knew the effect it would have on Eric to see her like this. Everything about a Hylarr female was made for seduction and bed-play. But add to that Sebastet's air of danger and very few males ever looked away from her.
She used the dagger from the wall to clean out from under her claws and tisked at Eric without looking at him, "Eric... I'm disappointed in you..." she started, not bothering to hide the seductive ever-present hint of a purr in her voice, "You sent someone to me to work as a 'protector' but didn't tell me all of her skills... You kept back one very important detail that actually suited her much better... She's deadly, yes, especially with a sword in her hand... But she's much better with knives and daggers... You completely underestimated all of her skills to me... Very bad form, Eric... And very rude of you..." she finished that with a tilt of her head so that she could let him see her emerald eyes in a way that was enticing and teasing.
She set the dagger down on her desk and used her hands to slide onto the desk slowly where she crossed her legs and leaned back on her hands. Maybe it was dirty pool to play with them like this, but she'd learned early on to keep Eric off balance in these meetings.
Plus, she was right. He'd tried to play her when he'd sent his initial letter about Rebecca and her skills. Either deliberately down-playing her skills or simply not knowing about them. Either way, it was certainly an insult to Sebastet that he'd done so. |

When Sebastet entered the room, Eric stiffened a bit as he stopped pacing and his eyes green emerald eyes locked on her, Seeing her beauty always haunted him and made him not think straight most of the time. He was starting to get a little use to it now that he focus a little better, but it was still tough. As she grabbed a dagger and leaned her wonderful body against that desk, he tired to keep his eyes on hers and not trail off down her body the best he could.
Valick was a different story though, it was his first time seeing her and he was thrown back by her a moment, not expect someone so powerful also be so drop dead gorgeous. Valick couldn't speak as his eyes trailed over her like a wanting animal that he is and after hearing the enchanting voice of hers he didn't notice he was leaned forward on his knees listening to her every word. But then when he heard her say Rebecca's name he snapped out of it and felt pain for a moment as he looked away and looked at Eric, seeing him so stiff and uneasy and couldn't help but smirk a bit enjoying him being uncomfortable around her.
Eric stood very still as his eyes never left her amazing green emerald eyes, green was always his weakness sometimes but so was an amazing body and he needed to try his best to focus on Rebecca right now. "Well I'm sorry to disappoint you Sebastet, but I was not wrong about her skills. To me she is better as a warrior not a chief, her talents and powers should not be wasted to being standing around in a kitchen cooking meals, shes much better then that. She is better used as a warrior" Eric spoke with his cool calming enchanting voice, trying his best to keep calm and not anger her with his words, which was tough thing to do, Eric was always good at pissing people off with his words and not caring what they thought, but this time was different.
Valick kept his eyes of Sebastet not to be rude but he didn't like the feeling he got from when he looked at her, in a way he was loyal to Rebecca and loved her, he felt like he was being rude to Rebecca by looking at Sebastet the wrong way so he just kept his eyes on Eric, letting them speak. Valick knew Rebecca was very talented in many other ways, but never notice how much she enjoyed cooking, he should of seen it. |

Sebastet shook her head at Eric, tisking again, "You never do think ahead, do you Eric... In a place like this, the first targets are the servants. Someone like Rebecca working with them, doing something she actually likes to do and is very good at, places her in a position to gain their trust where she can easily protect them should there be the need for it..." she told him in a tone that showed her exactly how child-like his thinking was.
She twisted her torso to pick up a stack of papers from the other side of the desk, managing to show off her flexibility in the process as she turned back to them, "Do you see these? They're all letters and notes from the castle servants and some of the villagers. They're all impressed with Rebecca, her inclination to assist them whenever they need it as well as her cooking. I've got six offers here just to have her teach them some of her recipes, one to have her cater a very important meeting of the village Elders and some of my advisers. And they're willing to pay handsomely for it, all of them," she told Eric then dropped the stack of papers back on her desk.
"You had a valuable commodity in her skills, not just those as a fighter. Besides, with her dagger skills she'd have made a much better assassin than an outright fighter. You have underestimated and undervalued her simply because she is female and still fairly young. You should know better than that Elder..." she finished that in a voice of pure steel.
"I know better than to underestimate those who come here. I place people where their skills lie instead of putting them where they don't belong. Right now, she is better suited to the kitchen. A place where she has already gained the trust and devotion of my servants, many of them stating that they'd run directly to her if there were a problem with full trust in her abilities to protect and defend them," she continued, letting him know that her culinary skills had enabled her to better do the job she was sent to do.
Then she gave Eric a smile he probably didn't want to see. It held the promise of everything he saw in her; seductive, teasing, flirtatious, desire... All of that in one small smile, "Besides... You did, in fact, understate her abilities and powers to me... What she is... Everything about those things marks her as Outcast... As such, she is fully able to ask for Sanctuary here... You might not be pleased to learn that she has, in fact, done so... I have granted it to her, so she is no longer your concern... I will allow you to see her, though..." she paused there and turned that teasing look to Valick, "Or, more accurately, to allow her Sire to see her..." she corrected herself, letting Eric know who held the power in this meeting and its outcome.
She had one other thing planned, mainly for manners sake, but that would wait until after Ash brought Rebecca in... |

Eric looked at the stack of papers on her desk from the people, hearing what he was hearing was telling him he was loosing this argument in a way. Eric's hands went into a fist, looking away from her now as she gave that teasing smile of hers. Rebecca was making a fool of him right now and he wanted to make her pay for it, she was not going to slip through his fingers. "I know very well that Rebecca is different from a normal vampire and of her powers, but she is not aloud use her powers, she's unstable when dose. Valick and I have made it very clear to her to try not to let it comsume her." Eric spoke through a tight jaw and then looked at Valick seeing him quite this whole time. "Tell her Valick, tell her that its better for her to be closer to the ones that understand her and can watch over her. You know you are the only one that can calm her when she looses control."
Valick looks Eric in his darkening emerald eyes seeing that look knowing he was on his way to punish Rebecca for making him look like a fool right now. Valick glanced at Sebastet and then softly stood looking at Eric as he wasn't afraid to stand up to him. It is true that I help calm her when she gets that way, but Eric I can't be on your side with this one. It sounds like that this is all Rebecca's choice, that she is living the way she wants and with us not around to tell her what to do, I never noticed how she can be wonderful in other ways. You know very well that she would leave the clan one day. What she is ment for and I hope it dosen't come to that for her sake, but if she is happy her and safe and willing to do good here, I will give her my blessing." Valick then looked at Sebastet he knew she could see the love he had for Rebecca, he was now going to ask something that was going deeply anger Eric but he didn't care he was going to least try and givee it a chance.
"And if its Alright with you and Rebeccca, I wish to stay here with her, not to watch over her, but be at her side as a friend a supporter."
Eric growled now at Valcik as his stare was cold, he couldn't believe this even Valick was going to let her go free, he hated that he didn't have the upper hand right now, he so wanted to throw Valick across the room for this. It took every once of control to not do so cause Sebastet was standing right there. Eric new this conversation was over now, there was no words that he could say to win this so he would wait to see Rebecca maybe talking her out of it would work. |

Sebastet smiled at Valick and gave him a gracious nod of her head, "I see no reason to deny your request as long as Rebecca doesn't mind it and you obey the rules here. I think you'll see that they're no hardship," she said simply to him before turning to watch Eric as someone knocked on the door.
Ash entered with Rebecca on his arm, offering both men his usual smile as he lead her to stand to one side of Sebastet's desk to accommodate her wings. With him, of course, his smile was meant to seduce with a simple look, showing them both the potential in him and teasing them at the same time. Especially Eric...
He gave a respectful nod to Sebastet and moved to sit in the chair behind the desk, allowing Rebecca to stand on her own, fully confident that she'd be able to do so.
Of course, the show wasn't over yet. Right behind them came another figure. This one was a man not quite as sexually beautiful as Ash, but carrying a more quiet and sensual grace. Silver and white hair spilled down his back to his knees and he turned harlequined eyes to the guests as he nodded to them politely, one blue and one deep green. The rest of him was built like an athlete, lean but just muscular enough to please. His features were more classically beautiful and accentuated by the hair that fell behind him. His clothes were simple linen pants that left the rest of him bare to the eye.
He approached Sebastet, winking at Ash and Rebecca when the others couldn't see them. He turned and sat down at Sebastet's feet, looking very comfortable, "Ah, and here is Dancer... Thank you for coming..." she said to him, reaching one hand down to stroke his beautiful hair as she looked at the other two men, "It would be impolite for me to send you away hungry, so Dancer has graciously agreed to provide for you both..." she added then gestured to Ash behind her almost negligently.
"Rebecca's escort tonight is Ash, an Incubus currently on loan from Lareth. The Demonic High King loves to spoil me so..." she purred softly, reminding Eric that she carried very highly placed friends and that harming Ash in any way might bring on repercussions he wouldn't like in any way... |

Eric and Valick looked at her with a bit of shock as they couldn't believe what they were seeing, they were not looking at the same person they saw leaving over a month ago. They then looked at Ash seeing his revealing outfit and his fresh bite marks from Rebecca.
Valick looked at those bite marks knowing there were Rebecca's, it pained a little seeing that and smelling each other on them both, but he looked back at Rebecca hiding the pain not wanting to her to worry about it. Looking into her wonderful bluegreen sliver eyes again made a warm smile come to his face as he walked over to her and gave her a I missed you hug.
Rebecca looked at them both, seeing there surprise of how she looked, making her blush a little as they looked at her with passion just like Ash dose. She looked into her sires dark blue eyes seeing that spark of something when he looked at Ash but when he looked back at her and smiled, she smiled warmly back. He hugged her and hugged him tightly back, "Ive missed you too Prince Charming." She whispered sweetly to him.
Valick hugged her a bit tighter as he took comfort from her words. He then softly pulls back leaving his hands softly on her arms as he looked at her, "You look amazing Rebecca, I never seen you so happy and glow so much." He says warmly with a smile. He glances at Ash and then back at her, "Rebecca tell me, is this what you really want? No one here is putting up to this are they?" he says keeping his voice calm and soothing meaning no harm to his words. He knew that some Incubus can be controlling with there blood and he could smell his blood strongly in her.
Rebecca smiles and softly shakes her head, "No one has put me up to the Valick, this is all me. This is what I really want, you just said you see how happy I am. And I am happy, every one is sweet and kind to me here, I don't need to hide the real me here as I do back at home and thanks with Ash's help I have control of what I am not Valick."
Valick looked at her a bit surprised when he heard that she had control of herself now and looking at her wings he could tell she did, she felt better and stronger, but that brought a little worry to him as he glanced at Ash once more and looked her back in the eyes. "That's great to hear you have control now, but Rebecca you know what that means right? You know if he finds out have control now, he will come for you." He says in a low worried voice.
Rebecca swallowed hard as that brought a bit of fear in her a bit, but she lightly brushes it aside taking her sires hands into hers and looks him straight in the eyes, "I am safe here Valick, the magic around this place will keep me hidden from him, I will not let that happen."
Valick lightly squeezes her hands, "Yes, but what if one of his followers comes here and sees you, how do you know one is not here now?"
Rebecca knew what he was getting at, he thought Ash was one of his followers, but she knew he was not, as she could tell the difference between his demons. "I asure you Valick, Ash is not one of his followers, you heard what Sebastet said, hes works for Lareth, and you know the kind wants nothing to do with him"
Valick sighs a little and nods, then gives a warm smile as he understands, "Alright, if this is what you really want then You have my blessing Little one"
Rebecca smiles pleased hear that, she then glances over at Eric seeing him watching them, seeing that deep anger in his eyes. She softly steps around Valick going to Eric, her stance was strong and she showed no fear as she looked him in the eyes, as she did not fear him any more, she was now higher then him.
Eric looked Rebecca back in the eyes, seeing that fear he once had on her gone, she did not fear him any more which meant he has lost hold of control over her. His jaw tightens as he was not going to give up that easy, he had to really know for sure if that fear was gone. As she stood there looking at him fearless, his anger build and he did not hold back to what he was going to do as he had to know. He moved quick to back hand her across the face, but to his surprise his hand never got close enough to touch her as She easily saw it coming, he grabbed hold his wrist tightly showing her power and strength she had over him, her eyes going ice cold.
Rebecca knew that was coming, she could see it in his face, that look was always a warning to her that a hit was coming to her, but she was not going to take it, not this time. She held his wrist painfully tight and she say in his eyes it did hurt but he didn't flinch to show weakness. "Enough of this Eric, I don't need your blessing, I am telling you that I will no longer work for you. For years I put up with your crap, did everything you asked of me and was loyal to you the whole time, but no more. You know I am strong then you, better then you and I will never be under you again. So you either accept me as an equal or get out of my sight." Her voice was hard and cold, Valick never heard her speak so strongly to any one before, even Eric and that just made a proud smile grow on his face.
Eric growls at her and yanks his wrist out of her grip, "This is not over Rebecca, You will be mine again one day, be sure of that." He growled coldly at her, then turned away walking out slamming the door behind him.
Rebecca relaxed and smirked not bothered by his lame threat and looked at Valick, "He will be fine, he will just be grumpy for awhile" she says with a smile and laughs a little. Valick smiles more and hugs her again, she hugs him back as she was happy to feel him proud of her. "Rebecca, I want to ask you, I wish to stay here with you. I will not be in your way of what you want to do and how you want to live, I just want to be here as a friend and a supporter."
Rebecca looks him in his dark blue eyes as she listen to his words, hearing the truth in them, she thinks it over a moment and then smiles. "Alright Valick, You stay with me, but if you do start telling me what I can and cant do I will not hold back to showing your stepping out of line alright?" She says sweetly with warning in her voice. Valick smiles and nods softly, "I understand" He says softly and smiles happy that she was willing to let him stay close to her. |

Ash waited until after Rebecca had finished with allowing Valick to stay before finally standing up to go to her. He moved to her and picked her up by the waist to spin her once around before putting her back on her feet with a brief kiss, "I told you that you could do it, Beautiful. And you did it all on your own. You didn't lose control. You didn't let Eric bully you. You stood your ground and defended yourself wonderfully," he told her proudly and hugged her briefly before releasing her again.
But, since he was who he was, what came next should have been expected.
He looked at Valick, winked at him, then actually reached out to tweak his nose gently, "Your job now, as her Sire, sir, will be to keep Eric away from her so that she doesn't have to kill him and simply support her decisions as she makes them. Her powers are perfectly stable and fully under her control, so that is no longer a worry for anyone. The flaw was in the fact that none of you trusted either her or her powers, which lead to her not trusting them or herself. She simply needed to see that she could be herself without fear and that she could be cared for and loved for who she truly is. That is all I have given her and helped her to see," he told the vampire with another wink.
Dancer stood up beside Sebastet and leaned back against the desk as he watched the rest of the show, finally giving a soft sigh before looking at his godmother, "I guess I'm not needed then?" he asked simply with one raised eyebrow.
Sebastet shook her head slightly, "You'd have to ask Valick. Either take care of him yourself while he stays here or appoint him a donor. As long as he behaves and Eric leaves the island, I really don't care. So if you will all excuse me, I have someone to get back to," she finished with a very pleased smile on her face and left the office, leaving all of them alone. |

Rebecca blushed a bit as Ash picked her up and spun her around, returning the brief kiss. She smiles warmly at him as she was happy to have someone proud of her, and feeling what Valick was feeling, it was even better knowing he was proud of her too. She blushed a bit more when she glanced at Valick seeing that jealous look in his eyes.
Valick stood by watching how Ash lifted her and spun her, giving her a kiss on her sweet lips that he has long waited to feel on his once again. He couldn't help himself feel jealous at the way she smiled and her cheeks getting a light pink from Ash. but it made him give her his prince charming smile that she called it when she looked at him and blushed more, he thought it was adorable.
Valick looked at Ash as he spoke to him, smirking as he winked at him as he knew it was his nature to be like that. Valick looked at him a bit shocked that he said that him and Eric didn't trust her to use her power, Valick looked at her and she knew it as well from the look on her face. "I'll be sure to watch over her like I always have, but just let you know Ash, Rebecca hasn't been fully truthful on to why she didn't connect with her powers. It wasn't that we didn't trust her, we just didn't want her to get control of them or she would have been taken away from us." Valick softly spoke as he looked back at Ash.
Rebecca lightly rubs her hands, she wasn't fully lying to Ash the real reason why she never took full control, she was scared to do, but not cause of what Eric and Valick thought, cause if a someone found out she would be taken, but once she found out how safe it was here, she gave into the teachings from ash and took control.
Rebecca rubs the back of her neck a bit "Well Its best not to speak of it right now, that's for another time and its not important at the moment" She says softly wanting to keep this good mood.
Valick looks at her smirks, softly nodding understanding, He then looks at Dancer as he spoke to Sebastet, he then stepped aside letting her through as she left. Valick gave Dancer a charmed smile, "Well you or a donor will work for me either way, I'm not picky when it comes to fresh blood" He softly saying, giving Dancer a choice. Valick was very hungry as he didn't feed well from missing Rebecca a lot and then way Rebecca looked at him just now, she could see he did not look his best at the moment.
Eric was pacing in the garden as he didn't want to leave just yet, he needed to get another chance to talk to Rebecca but he couldn't do it being out numbered in there or at least with Sebastet in there. He stopped pacing when he heard the door of the tower open and watched Sebastet leaving. When she was out of sight he silently went back into the tower and returned to the office.
Rebecca and Valick look seeing Eric walk in returning, he seemed a bit more calm now but there was a plot on his mind, they knew he wasn't going to give up so easy. Rebecca folds her arms over her chest and glares at him, "Have you returned to apologize and talk or you going to try something stupid again?" she says coldly. Valick stood his guard next to Rebecca watching Eric closely and her as well.
Eric smirks at them and folds his arms over his chest as he keeps his distance from them staying by the door, "There is nothing I need to apologize for Rebecca, If you like it or not you will be returning with me by the time the sun is up and here is why. Seeing that you have control of your powers now and knowing I am close to you know who, So here is your choices. Either you leave with me tonight and I will pass over this like it never happened or If you refuse to come back with me, I will go to him and tell him where you are." Eric kept a cool stern strong tone the whole time as he spoke, seeing that little bit of fear return in her eyes once again, but just only a little.
Rebecca looked at him like he was crazy, she growled at him stepping forward but didn't get far as Valick grabs her shoulder to calm her. "You wouldn't dare! If you tell him where I was, you wouldn't get me either way Eric!" She growled loudly at him, feeling her breathing pick up.
Eric smiles to her reaction seeing that he was getting to her, "Well I'm sure telling him about you, will put me on his best of terms and he might allow me to watch over you for him, making us work together." He had such a proud tone in his voice, he then gave her that evil smirk she hated so much. "I will give you till morning to think it over, but if that ship leaves and your not on it, I know your answer." He then turns and leaves not saying another word.
Rebecca stood there not know what to think or feel at the moment as she thought it over in her head, She then sighed as she looked at Valick and Ash. "I guess this was fun when it lasted, I have no choice but to go back with him."
Valick saw that light in her eyes leave and which he did not want to see at all, he lightly grabs her and has her look him in the eyes. "No Rebecca, do not give in so easy, so what if he tells him, I'm sure we will think of something when he comes here for you."
Rebecca sighs shaking her head, "No I would be putting everyone here in danger if I do. Valick this was great while it lasted, but I'm not going to risk this great place for my freedom, its not worth it." She says looking back into his eyes wanting him to understand. |

Ash had to keep a tight rein on his control at the threat Eric gave Rebecca and simply looked at Dancer who simply nodded to him. Then Dancer looked at Valick and gestured to the door, "Come, my rooms are upstairs. You can feed there and give them a chance to speak," he said softly and politely.
Ash watched as Valick gave in, knowing full well that he needed to feed. Once they were gone, he turned to Rebecca, doing his best to keep control of himself. But it wasn't an easy thing for him to do right now, "Tell me, Rebecca..." he said softly, knowing that she had to be completely honest with him now.
Especially since he knew full well that the Tower wasn't going to be letting Eric back inside. Hell, it would probably tell Sebastet what had happened and she'd rearrange the protections so that the idiot wouldn't be allowed back on the island. Valick really didn't want to leave Rebecca's side right now seeing her all worked up and to leave her with Ash. He didn't fully trust Ash, but he trusted Rebecca so he gave in and fallowed Dancer out of the room to get some energy in, he knew he could think more clearly after he fed.
Rebecca watched Valick leave, she felt bad having him go, but she understood and looking back at Ash she could see how uneasy he was. she rubbed her hands a bit nervously as she side and softly walked over to the desk and leaned against feeling a bit worn out. She didn't want to upset Ash, as he has been so good too her but there was some things best to keep secret and now she knows that he has to know everything there is about her.
She takes in a small breath to steady herself as she looks at Ash in the eyes wanting to see the truth in hers as she spoke. "I'm sorry to upset you like this Ash, I just didn't think this part of my life would come back to me so soon right now." She says softly as she then starts her dark history, "When I first got my powers, started to change, it was one night during a blood moon eclipse. It was like a shock through my whole body and it freaked me out, before that happened though I met this Demon on a personal mission for Eric. His name was Isaac, when i confronted him, he soon found out I was not all vampire that I was half angel as well and he called me the Dark Angel. He said that his Master couldn't wait to see me and the he had a personal letter from him. I was told to open it after i noticed changes in myself. When I opened it and read the letter, I didn't know what was happening to me and in the letter Isaac's master explained that he would tell me everything I wanted to know if I summoned him, but when I read the end of the letter from who it was by, I couldn't believe it..." Her hands shake a bit and she holds them tight as just thinking the name brought her uneasy.
"Ash, his name is Lucifer. The Devil himself came when I called for him, told me all about myself, told me I needed to get control of it and once I did, he would come for me and have me join him at his side as his strongest warrior and leader. I had control of my powers once before from the help of someone that he himself pointed me too. When he came for and I refused to join at his side, not wanting that life at all. It didn't turn out so well, he ended up taking my soul and a darker me ruled beside him for awhile. I eventually got my soul back and lost control of my power once again, so he left me be and so for a very long time I fought to not control to let it do what it did till I met you and came here. It just seemed to safe her and I was so tired of holding it back, I needed a break, I wanted a real life and I thought I could get it here, but If Eric leaves without me and tells Lucifer where I am, he will come here and it will not end well If I refuse to go with him once again." Rebecca spoke every word carefully, making sure she explained the best she could and didn't loose him any where, She hoped by him knowing the full truth that the right thing for her to do was to leave and go with Eric and if she did that, she would hold back her power once again continuing the life she had before she came here to the Castle. |

Ash moved to pull her into his arms and hold her for a silent moment before speaking, "Rebecca... No one, not even Lucifer, can take your free will. Lucifer also has to petition the Goddess to take you from this island since it's under Her protection. And She is not likely to give Her permission for that. You are actually safe here, Sweetheart..." he told her softly.
Right now, he could cheerfully kill Eric, dance on top of his corpse, then burn the remains and scatter the ashes to the winds. But he'd miscalculated this time by a great margin. Few knew about the Goddess' protection of the island or of her special connection with Sebastet and a few of the other residents.
By the same token, the Demon Realm and the Elven Realm were equally safe for Rebecca, those realms being under the protection and supervision of other gods. Lucifer was just a petty tyrant ruling over a minority who gave him power only through their fear of him. There were a great many deities that he couldn't afford to offend, the Goddess being just one of them. |

Ash held her, one hand moving over her back as he tried to soothe her, knowing he was right but hoping she'd be able to trust his judgement on the issue. Especially since he only had one more day with her...
From here, it would be up to Sebastet to protect her, up to all the residents actually. And to Valick...
He pressed a kiss to the top of her head as he held her, "Please trust me, Rebecca... Sebastet and the Goddess have both seen to the protection of those who live here... Things have been relatively safe for centuries here... The only things they cannot eliminate that adds to the danger here is free will... That cannot be circumvented, not by any god or goddess... You have made a choice to stay here, you have basically claimed sanctuary... Even Lucifer cannot gainsay that or all of the gods would rise up against him, something he would gladly punish Eric for orchestrating... Even if you don't trust that protection, then trust me and Sebastet..." he said in a soft whisper, hoping she would give him that much at least. |
