Ilea automatically pulled some of the pain he was experiencing so that he could function better. But the moment he said that Lareth was dead, her mind started working. There was something... Something from before...

She finally snapped her attention to his face with a serious look and snapped her fingers, her bodysuit automatically sliding over her and forming into her favorite crimson leather, "Get dressed. We have to check something," she said simply as she headed for the door.

Shale sensed his symptoms being diverted and welcomed the relief, though with mixed feelings. Rising quickly and dressing himself, he followed Ilea without a word. He knew that she had something in mind that would be important and further questions or discussion would be a waste of valuable time. However, he also continued giving orders to the Forge. Its capabilities were continuing to expand quantitatively. But, improving the quality of the produced golems was a far slower process in his absence. He would need to spend some time there in person to accelerate the development of the latest models.
