you will enter into the castle courtyard it is for outdoor fighting practice, and also leads to the Front Door of the castle."

Cullen Beathan



Cullen took Aten's hand, Cullen being vary small to begin with when next to Aten looked even smaller. The small group made for the castle.

Cullen walking silently beside Aten, and Pounce padding here and there as his kind was often doing, though he never left Cullen's sight. The boy was scared yet existed. he was hoping he made a good friend, and only wish he could understand more about what he said; but thankfully pounce told him what the man said for the most part.

The group soon had walked through the town and pathways that left the village and up towards the castle Cullen was quiet stunned at the vast size of the castle and its great gate and walls. He moved a bit closer to Aten, for reassurance.

"I know how you feel it even make me scared" Aten said looking the castle up and down. He was use to staying in small places and avoided big places for many good reasons. But from what he heard he could be safe here but there was only one way to find out. Giving Cullens hand a light pat before he headed to the gate and knocked on it. He saw no one around and head no one replay so he push on the gate and it opened. "ok...lets go in" he said

Cullen fallowed close to Aten even though they saw no one he felt as if he was being watched. maybe it was the way the statues and carvings on the wall's and gates watched him. He moved close to Aten.. "we bein watch..." he said so softly it was barely heard. As they entered into the court yard the gates doors closed by themselves and its bars and lockes set them self back to lock.

Aten jumped a bit before giving a weak laugh. "I am sure it just the statues" he said smiling and nodding to Cullen, "Let hurry and get inside." He really did not like the fact that Cullen was right. It did feel like some one was watching them and that some one was not going to let them leave easily too. Getting to the doors he knocked on them to see if any one would answer. Looking around he hoped some one answered soon

As if by magic, the doors seemed to open on their own, revealing the Reception Hall beyond. While the courtyard had seemed to carry a feeling of rejecting visitors, the Hall seemed to welcome them. It beckoned with warmth and a feeling of life to all who entered through the doorway.....

Mikka got to the gates and just looked at them. "big" she said as she looked them all over. she was not sure if she had to knock or not but she waited for Sir to hurry up and get here. she no longer heard the dogs but she still could worry that they where some where out there looking for them. "hurry up sir" she shouted.

Kaiser burst through the tree line and into the open, slowing down and stopping he leaned over and rested a hand on a knee. Panting and sweating he glanced at Mikka.
“We must have full out run a good ten clicks, and you haven't even broken a sweat,” he said jealous of her stamina. Kaiser stood up and looked at the gates then said, “I have seen bigger.”

Mikka just titled her head at him as he looked very warn out. "Is sir going to be all right?" she asked him. She was use to running so it did not get as tired as most people did. she looked back at the gates and [poked them. "Are we to knock?" she asked. most time there were people at gates but there was no one around here and she could smell no one.

Kaiser pointed to a great door knocker with elabrate designs and said, “You can use that if you can reach it.”

"Mikka jsut want a home where she dose not have to run any moire and where Mikka feels safe" Mikka said. she had spent since she was born in a cage and chained. she wanted to be free and not hunted any more for what she was. A prize and slave. going to the knocked she stood on her tippy toes and pulled it pout and banged it down three times. Her ears went down to ehr head for it was rather loud.

“To each their own fate,” Kaiser said with a shrug as he waited for someone to answer. Suddenly he began to sweat, what were they going to tell them?!?!?
“Umm... How are we going to explain this to them?” Kaiser asked praying for an answer and fast.

Mikka looked at him as her tail and ears twitched. "the truth" she said, "we have nothing to hid we came here for safety from the hunters after Mikka. Mikka is sure they will understand...why you worried?" She did not get why they ened to say something. The truth was always the good thing to say. lieing you got hurt for.

“I am a chronic paranoid,” Kaiser said with a shrug, “Can't help but point out what could go bad.”
He adjusted his box and looked back at the forest. Not that he expected to see their hunters, but it was the thought that counted. Looking back at the gate he shifted his gaze upward towards the inner castle.
