"Hmm. I may call upon your presence again, but please do not worry too much. I am sure I will find it eventually."

As the mixed plate of sea food came out he was curious as to what each item tasted like and wondered why the elves ate something that had...tentacles?

He picked up a piece of bread and buttered it.

"I am having a most wonderful time, yes. Good company makes everything much more delightful, wouldn't you agree?"

Ravor took a bite of the buttered bread as he watched her.

"very much so, I have been enjoying your company" Astrid said smiling as she poked at some more shrimp. She liked the sea food that was not to hot for her too eat, but there was still so much she could not name and did not want to eat. Good food and handsome gentleman to talk too every thing was good. "If you do not mind me asking where are you from?" she asked.

Ravor decided to be daring and picked up one of the odd looking morsels with his fork and popped it in his mouth.
He made a sound of approval as the item practically melted and had a wonderful flavor.

When he was done chewing and he swallowed, he answered her question.

"It's a place without a name, if that makes sense. It's always been there from what I know, but no one ever thought to name the place....so.....I guess you can say I am from nowhere."

he speared another odd morsel with his fork and ate it and made a face.

"Don't eat those...they taste weird and gross"

Astrid had to think about what he said not sure how to take that. 'A Place called nowwere' she thought as she poked some eel and eat it. It tasted so good for they did it barbecued style. She did not taste what he said was gross as she sipped some water. "Very weird but I will take that" she said, "do you have any family?"

Ravor finished off a few of the odd things and settled back on bread.
As he pulled a roll apart to butter, he stopped as she asked about family.
He didn't look at her, but continued to look at his roll.

"I do...though being a black sheep and an unwanted child, it is hard to speak of my family."

He buttered his roll, busying himself.
"I used to enjoy my twin brothers company as I looked up to him, but as we got older we grew apart. Then like so much of my family, he became negative with me too."

He smiled bitterly.
"I'm tolerated but not welcomed...."

Ravor smiled a bit.
"But now I travel wherever I wish, doing as I wish."

He was not about to tell her what he really was or who he really was, as that would just ruin the last of the meal. Besides, he told her enough truth that should satisfy her and perhaps give her a look at who he was, before he made trouble in this realm later on.

"I am very sorry to hear that"Astrid said as she sipped her water. She was sorry she asked but she was just wondering. She poked around the plate some more before she eat some thing that looked like crab. "I know the feeling though it is more my father that would call me the black sheep" she said, "Most of my family have been hunters and trades for genrtetions and I picked to be a healer. My father was not happy one bit with me so I had to live home to follow my dream. As long as your happy you should not care what your family thinks. My sister is the only family I keep in touch with."

He smiled.
The elf woman was extremely intelligent and her words had a spoken truth. He SHOULD do what made him happy.
Too bad his new friend won't be happy when he does create his own happiness though....

"It is good you can at least keep in contact with family even if it is through only your sister. A good relationship like that should be treasured."

He ate another roll and ate some other interesting looking thing.

When the food was over and done with, he paid for their meal.

"I know you said it was your treat, but my dear lady, you gave me such wonderful company and companionship, I have not had in quite some time. Consider this my thanks.....that and it would not be right for a lady to treat a male. Old school rules....hope you understand my dear."

Astrid nodded at that as she finished her food fulling nice and full from the meal. She was a little surprise when he paid the meal before he said way and gave a light laugh as she smiled. "No need it makes sense I am just use to paying for things me self" she said as she crusted to him, "Thank you for paying for the meal and like wise I have very much enjoyed your companionship this day. It is sad that we must part ways now." It was getting later and she knew she need to get back to the castle before the servant sent some one to find her.

He was going to ask if he could chat more with her another day, but he could see a few guards headed their way. Ravor bowed over Astrids hand and then smiled.

"Until our paths meet again, my lady."

He let her go and left as a guard tapped her on the shoulder.
"Lady Astrid, we are here to escort you back to the castle."

"Lets Hope" Astrid said as she watched him leave. Looking at the guard she nodded to him as she gathered her things. She had a good day and was sad that it hand ended. Looking back at where ravor left she hoped to meet him again. "lets head home" she said to the guards as she let them led her back to the castle. ((exit))

Cade arrives at the port city and looks around. Here, at least, it did not reek of destruction and death. It was the same as it had been before he had left, or nearly enough, and that, at least, made him happy. He stretches out his legs as he walks around, looking at the wares with no intention of buying anything at all. There was no need to. Besides, his coin was something he had always used sparingly in the past, just in case he'd need it for the future. There was no need to break such a rule now.

He looks outwards, towards the sea, and goes to buy a piece of fruit from a merchant. He smiles as he flips the merchant the required coin, then bites into the juicy fruit, feeling the sweet juices enter his mouth. He smiles. It was nice, almost as nice as the ones that he had been growing. He liked these.

Urgh. . . my head. Thoughts of these sorts flooded the mind of Ryoku as he had awoken on the deck of a ship. Who was he? Memories began to flood his mind but none useful except for one. A name. A NAME?! The pain that came with that memory was horribly painful, so much so that he leaned forward as to sit up and grasped his head between his hands by pressing in firmly as if that would suppress the horrible pain that inked its way into his very brain. Finally. . . the pain subsided. Standing up, he looked out to port, the very port that they were seemingly docking in. This. . . was an eleven city? Why was he at an Eleven port? This ship. It seemed to be filled with human merchants but. . . he didn't know.

As the ship had finally docked, he walked off of the port, without a shirt sadly, as he would stand upon the limestone docking bay of the port looking quite confused underneath his mask. Through the holes would peer two dark orbs that looked around to see something worth seeing. Of course, everything in the area was carved beautifully and was a great display of craftsmanship but. . . why was he here? He didn't know. All he could do was walk through the port and hope he met someone he once knew or someone to trigger memories.
