The Good
Something was wrong. There had been an unsettling feeling to the air for some time now and in the back of their minds, the faekats knew that something was coming.

War.

Faetasia knew this as well. While she was a living world, ever changing and growing one day to the next, she had never before changed this rapidly or extreme. Faekats would notice trees and plants growing in places it hadn't been before. Growing over their houses and forming fences around small villages.

The woods were also coming to life. Trees were uprooting themselves and moving around, becoming sentient beings. If an evil faekat would get too close, their branches would smash down at the ground, pushing them back. The only exception were the evil pets that lived within the woods as they would never damage their home. Also, the trees never wanted to truly harm another faekat, for Faetasia loved all the creatures that lived in her world.
She simply had to react. She had to keep things as fair as possible. Most of the evil races had no compassion for her and would damage and weaken her. She needed balance to thrive.

She came up with an idea and from a mighty tree, she pulled forth a god and tasked him with a new race called Druids. He called out to the those that loved nature and offered them a rare gift. If accepted, the faekat would become a Druid. Fused with nature itself, he or she would defend Faetasia with such ferocity, even willing to die for her if needed.

Faetasia then from deep within her, and the wind began to whistle and waves crashed in rhythm. It was as if the world was balance for one instant, so fleeting that most would not have noticed it. But in that instant, a goddess was pulled forth and she was tasked with running a new race that would be known henceforth as Bards. The goddess would set out and sing a beautiful melody. It could not be heard by most faekats. Only the purest of hearts could hear the beautiful music and they would be lulled to her she would in turn offer them a rare gift. If accepted, they would become Bards. Equipped with a beautiful voice and an instrument, they would be able to use music to attack the darker races.

And thus, Faetasia had her warriors. Her beautiful, passionate and loving warriors. But would it be enough? The evil were so mighty in number and many were stronger than the nicer races. She did not want the good races to come to harm but she wanted them to know that every one of them had the ability to make a difference. To help out. So in their sleep every good faekat would have a dream, would be asked by the world to come to her aid. To fight for her, to fight for their right to live for the darkness was coming and it was strong.

The Bad
Something was calling the evil races forth, urging them to take over the world, daring them to claim the world as their own. Sharing was simply not an option. Because of this, all the evil races were pitted against each other in the ultimate struggle for dominance. It didn't stop there though, the good races were a problem and needed beat into servitude. To put it simply, it was chaos. Pure unadulterated chaos.

Some of the evil races may even form temporary alliances with others in the struggle. Werewolves and Druids were inclined to work together, at least to protect their home. There was an unspoken acceptance between the two races.

Of course, other races had a hatred that could not be iced. The vampires and kuei-jin loathed one other. They were very different vampires, as different as water and fire. It didn't help that the vampire god, Caine especially despised the Kuei-jin. They were not his childer. He had no control over them and considered them a slap in the face. For thousands of years, there had been one kind of vampire, his vampire. He did not like change. He did not like these new vampires.

Demons hated everyone and had no qualms on who to attack or when. They were tricksters, and may even form fake alliances and then attack duped "allies". Zombies were indifferent to most of the evil races but realized they'd need to be taken out in order to gain control. Beholders simply wanted to scare the crap out of everyone.

Never before had things gotten this out of control.

Feel free to roleplay your faekats in this thread in response to the event. You can form alliances, simply roleplay your faekat wondering what's going and interacting with others or attacking! This is the all purpose thread! The story governs the "good" side of the event for now.
