This is a special CYO to celebrate my birthday tomorrow! It's rather odd because I don't celebrate my birthday irl but whatever. talk2hand
This is a race known as Summon, though the dragon is actually the Summoned and the feline is the Summoner. The idea behind them is that the summoner summons his companion (when they are children they are just friends but as they grow, their relationship can get more romantic). The summoned would give his life to protect his summoner. As all mages, the summoner is physically weak but very intelligent. The summoned dragon may not be the brightest but he is very strong and very quick. They also breathe fire. Fire bad, Fire bad!
I would prefer them to be a couple as the art suggests they are somewhat close but if you absolutely want them to just be friends, that's fine too.
Now, this is where it gets a bit tricky. You may own one summoner and one summoned. So if you want to color one lineart for yourself and keep both pets, that counts as both your summoned and summoner! However, if you partner up with others, you could have a summoner with someone else's summoned and then in the next couple, you could have the summoned with someone else's summon. I hope that's not too confusing! Just remember that when all is said an done, you can only own ONE summoner and ONE summoned.
You can color it yourself or grab a friend or fellow threadgoer to help.
