Sharon Needles is coming here to Portland on the 17th, and if possible I would really like to finish this by then and get her to autograph it, and perhaps even give her a copy if she'd like (but it's digital so I could just give it to her online).

Here's a close up of the face:


This is just a work in progress, of course. I used smudge for the cheeks because idk... I can't really get them to blend the way I want it without it. Anyone have any suggestions on that? Or do you think they look OK for the most part? The problem is that they are supposed to look really obvious, but I dunno... I'll take any suggestions for improvement.

The cheeks are more striking in the first image, but not so much in the two others...

BTW I still have a bit of shading to do. I'm thinking maybe the cheeks will look better if I finish up the shading before I even try to work on them...

the face anatomy looks really really off to me idk. i only draw animals and not people so SIGH

The face anatomy? What do you mean? How does it look off? Is it just the eyes that you take issue with? If so, I could edit them, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong here... from what I'm looking at in the pictures they look fairly similar. I could be wrong, but... I'm gonna need something more constructive than "it looks off idk here's a picture of how someone else draws their eyes". Not to be rude, I just need more information than that that relates to what I'm doing.

Is this better? I did more shading of the eyeball and made the make-up look more like make-up (or so I hope).
