Because obviously I need a whole thread (probably more than one) in order to dump my headplots for this couple :V

"Hmnm." Alex carefully examined the acoustic guitar in front of him, and then pulled it down and strummed it lightly. He considered it carefully, and then set it back, moving to another. His last guitar was old enough that it wasn't really holding a proper tune, and he could use a new one.
He pulled a second one off its rack, gently testing the weight and then strumming it again. A grin spread across his face. "This, this is nice." He grinned.

Erik had only been working in the music store for a few days, and admittedly, he wasn't all that knowledgeable about instruments. He wasn't sure why they'd hired him at all other than needing a stockboy, and because he was willing to create advertisements and decorate up all the store's signs.
He heard someone testing out guitars and walked over, and he was almost surprised to see the handsome blue-haired Faefox that stood there.
"Can I help you with anything?" He asked.

Alex was a little surprised to find himself suddenly being helped, not that the helper was particularly unpleasant. Quite the opposite, actually. His understanding was that Faenixes were fairly rarely seen, and goodness this one was handsome. Such pretty silvery hair, and though he could only barely see his eyes under it, he could tell they were an equally lovely color. Good day, good day.
"I'm doing alright, actually, though if you're in the business of handing out numbers I wouldn't mind getting yours. Alex Masters."
Flirting blatantly? Ohhh yeaaahhh.

Erik flushed bright red. No one had ever just...up and asked for his number like that, just at random. But then, he wouldn't mind getting a call from Alex. He reached into his bag and pulled out his sketchbook, writing his number on a page and handing it over.
"Erik Jameson. It's, ah, really nice to meet you," he stammered nervously. "I, er, I work here." Not that his uniform shirt didn't make it clear. (And he'd been thinking that the things were in need of a redesign...plain black with the store's name on the left breast, really, how uncreative.)

Alex briefly tested the weight a d feel of the paper before sticking it in his shirt pocket. "Good art paper? You must like me," he teased lightly.
"You must be new, I'm sure I would recognize you if you'd been here before." The Faefox said. If not, how could he possibly have missed such a handsome male?

Erik coughed. "Yeah, I guess," he said, though really it was the first he had on-hand. "I, er, I'm surprised you recognized that." It wasn't a lot of people that could pick up art paper versus regular.
"I've only been working here a few days," he admitted. "I'm alright with music but it's not...really my thing?"

Alex shrugged. "Well, one of my sisters likes to draw, and we all know that the only gift for her is good paper. Or pens." He said.
"Hah, it is mine," Alex admitted, "my, er my passion, admittedly. I'm not very good, but ai love it, and that's what matters, huh?"

"Well, then I guess I'm lucky, because if you actually needed help I'd be doomed," Erik joked. "Uh, maybe you could teach me a little sometime? I mean, if it's your passion you must know a lot?"
Also that would totally be a date, right? Erik had not nada date in a very long time and damn it, he kind of wanted one.

Alex grinned. "How about this. I pick up this guitar, you let me know when you get off, and I take you out for dinner and a music lesson." He proposed. He could absolutely be overly forward, but at least Erik seemed as interested as he was.

Erik nodded. "That sounds great," he said. "I'll be off in two hours, and uh, I would really like to go out with you," Oops, was that a little too much? Sometimes Erik wondered why he even talked, it was so...awkward.
