____ has always had a strong resentment for vampires, due the fact that vampires had killed his family as well as many other families. ____ is now a high-ranking member and skilled killer in a secret clan of vampire slayers. On the other hand, Alice is a vampire on the run wanted dead by many. ____ gets offered a high price to kill her, and has to do so by the word of his clan. But as soon as they see each other, the two of them are held together by one long lost memory--- In their childhood, they used to be best of friends, until they were seperate after ____'s parents were killed by Alice's own kind. Will ____ go against what he believes in and forget his mission to kill her? Only time will tell...

It was a rather cold night, and the pavement of the streets was glowing with a slick layer of rainwater. The city was flanked by the shadow of a vast forest, and the faint booms of nightclubs and the chirps of crickets could be heard. The girl known to few as Alice, sat perched on the roof of a building, one hand gripping the edge for extra balence. Her cascade of reddish hair fanned out over her shoulders, and her lips were parted in a slight smirk to expose two identical fangs in place of where canine teeth should have been. Alice's wide eyes, which were an electric blue color and framed by lush lashes, scanned the atmosphere with a look of uncertainty. Many people wanted her dead for numerous reasons, and this was something that she was fully aware of. But above all, the back of her throat burned with the thirst for blood.
