So, recently, my hair has been falling out or breaking easily. Everytime i brush my hair, more hair falls out and i dont know what to do! Im trying some shampoo and conditioner to make my hair stronger, but i dont know how to make my hair grow back or become strong enough to where it wont break or fall out quicker. My hair is long (around mid-back) and it used to be very thick and im 14 years old and 5"6 tall (still young). Plus, does weight or genetics effect this because im 150 pounds and my mom has thin hair but my grandma has thick hair (which i used to take after my grandma). Any suggestions on how to keep my hair healthy, strong, and maybe grow back to what it once was? Thanks. smile

You may just be shedding. My mom had the same problem for a couple of weeks, but it stopped after a while.
You could try vitamins for stronger hair, go to your local vitamin store and there should be some beauty supplements.

Have you spoke to your doctor about this? He may be able to find a cause for it.
I agree with the above though. Vitamins help tremendously with fall out. Look for Biotin. Added bonus, it helps with nails and skin.
I take Biotin, and I have seen great results. I have a lot of fall out with my hair. More so now, since is so long. Biotin has made my hair nicer looking, and honestly it feels thicker. It has also helped it grow.
