Speaking from knowledge ( No, I've never owned a Ferrari and I wouldn't either even if I was loaded ) a lot of insurance companies would only cover you the standard 1 Million dollars on the car ( Incase you kill or injure someone ) but as for collision your car will be a total write off because to repair the vehicle costs your insurance company far more then your plan/business is worth to them.
Also in terms of owning classic cars you also won't get any basic collision repair, what you'll get is a go ahead to scavenge or hunt for replacement body parts but only if you actually want to purchase a policy plan to do so.
