The Crowns and the Circlets: Defenders of Eternity

Synopsis: The crowns are an ancient sect of Mages and Warriors, chosen by the forces that created the Earth and all of the animals and plants. The first Crown is also the first Human to have been Created. He simply goes by Crown A. At any given time there can be only 52 Crowns for each gender. Two for each letter of the alphabet. Crowns are actually beings whose souls have been split into three parts. One to stay a regular human, unless exposed to what happens in the darker shadows of Reality, one a Mage that is partnered with a warrior of the opposite gender, and the third a Warrior, to fight along side the mage of the opposite gender.
Crowns are the males, and Circlets, the sister organization to the Crowns which was created later due to an increas in dark activity, are the females.
Note: When addressing a Crown or a Circlet, you call them Crown (first letter of true name) M or W, Or Circlet (first letter of true name) M or W. M=Mage W=Warrior, if you don't understand
If a crown/circlet's Human Soul is exposed to demons or other beasts from the shadows they are forced into the fold and granted the skills and abilities that their Warrior and Mage souls are capable of, but none of their knowledge, until a period of four years after joining, by which time, most usually aclimate to their new found power or perish.

Story:

For the first time since the Inquisitions new blood is required to join the Crowns and the Circlets. the only surviving Crown is the original A, and the only surviving Circlet is the most recent K. The year is 20xx and Crown A and Circlet K have only found a few of the new bloods. The sign that a human is a new blood can be any small change. A change in their choice of music, for example. The demons and other creatures of the Shade, the realm known to some as Hell, are massing for an all out invasion, thankfully, only a few demons can come through the veils that have opened. Veils are the portals through which Death comes to collect the souls of the dead. the only souls he cannot claim are those of the Crowns and Circlets, who, once they die, are then his to claim, but only the portion that dies, if The Warrior soul were to die and the mage soul survives only the Warrior soul will be taken.
Now that there are only two crowns and two circlets, the time is ripe for Earth to be over run. CrownA and Circlet K are frantic to find their new companions.

Background before being Chosen: M was an ordinary teenager. He was moody and had a relatively vast imagination. He was smart, but unmotivated, so his grades were decent, but not great. When he was younger his taste in music was more like his dad's, heavy with both country and rock, but had recently shifted to Heavy Metal, Power Metal and a bit of Death metal. Was surprised by a visit from CricletK one morning on the way to school, and came away from the encounter a changed person, unbeknownst to anyone around him, including himself.
Appearance: CrownM's Warrior soul wears a light armor made out of adamantium, the strongest material known to man, his hair is short, but wavy, and his brown eyes have an intensely steely gaze during battle. His Mage soul wears a long robe made out of a material so rare that only two other crowns had ever come across it, the material is known as Ice of the Hidden North. CrownM's mage soul has slightly longer hair than his Warrior soul, and his eyes are brighter, less focused, but still focused, he see's almost everything and overlooks nothing.
Personality: CrownM's Warrior soul is an intense fighter and has a barbed and flippant tongue in battle, but is Kind and Chivialrous outside of battle. CrownM's Mage soul is a cool and calculating fighter during battle, constantly shifting his gaze from one opponent to the next. Outside of battle he can be aloof and distant, but one approched he is open and honest with everyone, if a bit harsh at times, but on rare occasions can be kind in the extreme.

Background from before being chosen: Not long ago, Circlet J was an ordinary high school girl with high grades always maintaining a 4.0 average. She didn't really have any friends but that was okay with her. Her goal was always doing a good deed a day and being kind to everyone, treating everyone the same. Always looking for the
good in everyone. She lived with her mother since her father died when she was 5 from cancer. Recently, someone broke into their home, Circlet J woke up to a scream and ran to her mother's room to see a man stabbing her mother as she was trying to get away from him. Her mother screamed at her to run as Circlet J froze up with her eyes widened. As soon as she heard her mom scream at her she darted for the opposite direction. She felt like a coward.The man started running after her. She tripped and fell smack against the floor. All she wanted was someone to help her. That's when she met Crown A. He ran passed her and slayed the man who murdered her mother. She didn't know what to do or say but he held out a sword to her and said "Never be afraid. Fight and become stronger." She was hesitant to take it but she did and felt a new power surged through her. That's when her new life began and her world changed forever.
Appearance:
Personality: She's a kind person and good person at heart. She lacks confidence in herself which is a weakness of hers. She's a beginner warrior and her true power has yet to be awaken because she holds herself back. She still tries to look for the good in everyone but it's hard to after what happened to her mother. She does what she can to help others out. She's shy and doesn't talk much but her mother always told her actions speak louder than words.
