Tell us a bit about your RP style: So My style tends to reflect those I write with. On occasion, I can write worlds, and express emotions deeply. I try very hard when I've developed a character to leave room for growth, but also remain true to who they have always been. Writing and RP is a way that I evolve my style, and try out characters I never would have thought to before. I experiment a lot, and can fully admit when it's not working. And when inspiration or hyperfocus hits, I can write for hours. (This is totally copy pasted from my past entries because it's the best description I've written) I will try just about anything once, and with that in mind, I prefer discord RP over Gaia RP. (less need to fade to black.)
Why does this particular Ancestor appeal to you?: So this guy appeals because the Thousand Whispers ideal of each life is a way of learning, keeping two going at once, and learning before staging a ridiculously dramatic death just sounds like a blast and a half. It also gives an opportunity to expand the character far beyond just the initial story. Plus I mean, he's gorgeous. And even with his design and centipedes being on my list of no-thank-you bugs, he's appealing to me anyway.
Kuei-jin’s Name: Noboru Shishido
Kiei-jin’a Personality: Noboru was named to be one who 'ascended the flesh'. With his name inspiring such a noble desire, he strives to be the Ancestor which proves the balance of the Thousand Whispers to be the correct path. The other Dharma while they have their place, do not seem to truly express what he feels are the real reasons they were gifted with a life beyond the mortal world. Learning and finding the balance within all aspects of life, gaining insight no matter the depraved methods, knowledge, and understanding of the mortal and beyond mortal worlds and realms. He hungered for this knowledge as a mortal and became driven to know more of it as a voice of the Thousand. He has become a lover to an enemy, and a foe to a friend. He plays his part within the balance as any of the whispers should and would.
Motivations and Goals:
Noboru only wishes to ensure that his Dharma is in balance as it should be. After all only through true balance can one understand the true meanings of the living.
He will only accept the strongest, and most balanced of all their kind into his Dharma. Though they may be few now, they will grow, and bring many to their Dharma.
Noboru's personal goal is to find the thing that became an obsession in one life that escaped his grasp before he could destroy it as his tenets require.
He still has things to learn, and he shall pass on all his learnings to each new little monkey that finds its way into his cave.
Wisdom will spread, and while the other Dharma may wish to think they know the way to their enlightenment, only one Dharma knows the right path. He will prove this to all the others.

Sleep. It was long as he sat in the remnants of his old world. Noboru remembered the scents that came to his senses, seeing a shadow open and release a mass, he contemplated the thing that appeared. Flashes of old scriptures, and words carved into jade filtered as he saw who had come. The Goddess sent her own to wake you. Gather the Dharma? That would be difficult. But should be achievable.
He could not help the knowing smile as the words, "What is to come." echoed in his mind. Kuei-jin of other Dharma only understood little of preparation for what may come. War. Famine, Pestilence, Death. Whatever the Goddess, the ever-enlightened Scarlet Queen demanded, his Dharma would ensure all followed the balance she desired. He watched as the Ebon Dragon left, a small pang of envy slipped through his being, and left as quickly as it had come. Balance in all things, envy, greed, lust, wrath, sloth, gluttony, things that would often cause the lesser kindred to lose their minds were merely tools for him to use.
The next spot was to ponder where he would find those who could embrace the way of the Thousand, and not become broken pieces the other Dharma would pick up. Not that the discarded of their Dharma could give away inner secrets. It would take time to find those who would fit the Thousand, but the process was part of why they were the betters of the Dharmas, at least that was how he saw his own Dharma.
The Cainites were much like the rest of the fools who followed false paths to enlightenment, in fact, many of them fostered paths that lead to utter ignorance of the path that would lead to the truth. Blind as they were to their own foolishness, they had their uses, as did those of the Dharmas who believed their ways were enlightened as well. Without the fools bound to the world of the living, and those bound and trapped by the unlife by the same vices, and lack of knowledge were all to keep the balance of the true enlightenment.
As he began to shift and move his mind wandered to where those who followed the Thousand were, had they all fallen to the imbalance of time? Or perhaps there were still a few faithful who were keeping up with their lessons. He would need to see who and what had survived his long rest, and if those who were new to the Thousand understood the depth of balance they must achieve.
A well-practiced smirk crossed his lips, as devilishly yellow eyes gleamed in the darkness as he stepped from his old chambers, the ruined cave of enlightenment far above the old grounds. He gathered a long list of names, and personalities, the Thousand he'd lived already, the next Thousand coming to mine. Noboru Shishido would find the next Thousand whispers, and balance them as was required, but first a change of clothes. He smiled as his body shifted from the older and worn form of his previous life, Takeru had been useful, but he needed to look the part of an Ancestor. His arms shifted and a second set grew large as he stepped, silver hair sprouted and lengthened down his back, the clothing coming to his call, chitinous armoring like that of the wise centipede began to grow and spike along his long tail. Colors black and red bringing to mind the theatrics of kabuki seemed to slide along his face, the look much more fierce than his bare face, he calmly began to plan. The Thousand would perform until the whispers were so many that they became louder than the screams of fear they would invoke.
