 'I don't know what I was thinking with that a**' Nina thought to herself annoyed at her own stupidity. "He would have never turned out anyway" she said to herself. She was laying on her back in the forest a short way from the city. Her mind wandered towards her old companion Brauk who she had admittedly expected just a little too much took quickly, especially for such a flaky baddie.

 ~Dakota wonders around wondering what ever happened to his family. he knocks the closest tree down and sits on it's trunk.~ Huh, he thinks to himself elbows on his knees hands propping his head up. I wish i could see them.

The maykat was very relaxed now until an extremely loud noise broke her of that tranquility. "The hell is going on?" She yelled flicking her ears in annoyance that this new fae entered the picture to destroy her afternoon. She still could not see who this intruder was.

Dakota looks up at the strange, but somewhat familiar voice. Mom?, he thinks to himself. He shakes the thought away. It can't be. "Show yourself!" He shouts out into the distance, hiding behind a tree, just in case he must knock it down.

"Hell no, I'm not the one making a all this noise" she yelled out crossly. Her tail flicked in utter agitation at his disturbance and the fact that he dared to demand anything of her. If anyone owed anyone he owed her as far as she was concerned.

Dakota blinked uncomprehendingly. "Who are you?" He said stepping out into veiw. "Do I know you?" His eyes flickered back and fourth trying to spot the new fae near him.

Nina peered at the other kat who finally stepped into view, that gray fur did look familiar, in fact he looked so similar to to Brauk it was amazing. "Where is your father" she asked the new kat suspiciously. She knew she was going out on a limb with this assumption but she didn't know how else to figure out if her suspicions were correct.

Dakota feered that she was asking this question. His spine shivered and her choked u. He managed to say, "I never met my father." He wanted to run.. To just run and hide, hide from his fears. "Why does that matter to you?!" He started to raise his voice, but stayed calm.

Nina looked at him evenly taking in whatever this strange fae. After a short silence she chuckles to herself and finally says "sounds like him, the a*****e could never take any responsibility for his actions. He claimed that he could raise a kit just as good as me and as I suspected he left it as soon as the going got tough. Luckily faetasia has it's own ways of caring for the young." she said both to herself and to the fae she knew now to be her son.

"What are you...?" It phased him that she was talking about his father. "Why do you speak of him in this manner?" He scowled. "I've raised myself from childhood, you can tell me anything and I won't be hurt, except the means of my parents. I don't even know anything about them. Now, tell me your position." He stood against a tree, challenging his anger, making him knock it down accidentally. He jumped back and hissed, turning to look back at the female.

"Oh hush down, temper tantrums aren't going to help anything" she said relaxing a bit. She should have known that he was her son earlier since he looked exactly like his brother except with his fathers coat. She looked at him again before speaking up "Brauk, your father used to be my mate but he was such a flake I couldn't take it anymore he took you and I took your brother and I have not seen either of you since" she explained calmly to the baddie eyeing him for his reaction.

Dakota blinked uncomprehendingly, trying to understand her words. "Brother? Brauk? That means you.. You're my mother?! And you just let me go?! How dare you even..?! Shame!!" He huffed and puffed and stumbled to the ground. "Why?" He whispered. "Who am I?" I don't even know?! His lips curled and he growled, jumping up to approach his mother. "Why?"
