I've noticed the prevalence of supernatural-themed role plays everywhere. But why do we even have to go there when ordinary humans are just as fun and whacked up as is? Awright. Back to the story:

In the modern capital city of Townsville Brenneville, a small cosmetics company called PrimRose Cosmetics Inc. thrives off the wits and intellect of its talented salesmen and marketing team while the products themselves are really not much better than the products of the competitors. In fact, they're mediocre. But what keeps these women buying these products? The charming salesmen that sell them, of course! Little do these guys know that the fun times won't last while the greedy superiors keep raising quotas, suspicious women who were tricked into buying products try to expose them, and competing companies try to sabotage them. Nonetheless, it's time to suit up and figure out what in the bloody hell is going on.

The Salesmen:
The main characters of this story. The salesmen possess either the wits or the charms to make any product desirable to the female consumers. Clad in suits, these smooth operators make sure business is running smoothly in the only current existing branch of the company.

The Researchers:
This band of mediocres and useless smartasses come by the store from time to time to check on which products are selling well and what they could copy from the other stores for new product ideas. Since the owners are cheap, they also have to come deliver products personally as well.

The Customers:
Old conniving customers, existing naive customers and new customers. Whatever their purpose may be, they're the reason why this little cosmetics company is thriving in the first place. Whether it's to get a glimpse of the men or because they're actually convinced that they're ugly without the beautifying products, they're making the company profitable.

The Competitors:
These people belonging to other cosmetics companies have their own plans. Whatever it is, they don't seem to be quite comfortable with the fact that PrimRose Cosmetics is stealing all the customers. Even big, commercial companies seem to be taking an interest in the little store on the corner of Riale and Abacus Street.

Others:
Any other character types that fit the bill in this RP like personnel at the other locations, secretaries, executives and et cetera are welcome too.

Name: Renard Lowell

Role: salesman
Strengths: charisma, seduction, sweet talk, sports, bartending, street smarts
Weaknesses: rather dimwitted, aggressive, oblivious, drunkard, attention-seeking
Bio: Renard or 'Ren' as his co-workers call him is kind of a knuckle head and says many a stupid thing outside the context of seducing and sweet talking customers; But he does have his 'philosophical' moments, induced by drunkenness most of the time. He's been with PrimRose since it first started since he was romantically-involved with the president before the start of the company. They broke up long ago but he keeps insisting that he was being kept around because said president still had feelings for him. The truth was that he was being kept around because he was good at what he does despite the professional inadequacies.
Others: The company has a 'don't come to work under the influence' policy which he often breaks, thus coming to work wearing sunglasses most of the time

Bio: Leo is Marcus' younger adoptive brother. Having lost his parent at a young age Leo has always been in the eyes of the people. Being pamper and spoiled since a young age Leo has taken a keen instinct to get on people good side. Having been a receiver for his high school american football team Leo has been sweet with the ladies. Putting his talents to good use Leo took the job as a salesman for Primrose meeting his brother once again.

Strengths: Sneaky, Cunning, Charming...at times.

Bio: Lucian joined PrimRose purely because most customers were girls. It gave him a good excuse to hit on them - really, it did. And it wasn't like there was a no-third-base-with-the-customers policy. Okay, if there was, he would ignore it, like another guy he knew ignored the alcohol policy.
Others: Lucian is a big skirt chaser; he also insists upon wearing suits...all of the time.

Role: Customer
Strengths: Kind, handsome, caring, optimistic, a good cook.
Weaknesses: A bit emotional, short-tempered, prone to brain-farts, sometimes taken advantage of.
Bio: Eric grew up in an abusive household where his father was chronically drunk and his mother would beat him. Once he reached the age of 16, he ran away from home and started working odd jobs to make ends meet and sometimes got in with the wrong kind of people. Eventually he met a friend who took him in and helped him get a stable job. It was around this time that Eric found out he was gay. A boyfriend he once brought home introduced him to the world of drag performance. Eric instantly got hooked and now performs at clubs as Lady Bugg.
Others: He buys cosmetics from PrimRose for his drag costume because he likes the quality and likes looking at the hot men who sell him the product. He also enjoys seeing the sometimes shocked expressions of the men who were expecting to sell to a woman.

Weaknesses: Ditzy, Clutz, Stubborn, Temperamental to those she knows, Poor sense of direction, Poor taste, Slightly Naive
Bio: Elle was born an only child to a little TOO loving of parents. She honestly wondered how in the world they hadn't had more children. Elle knew her parents loved her deeply, but between their constant dating and romantic kindling nights, her babysitter may as well have been her sister. As Elle grew out of the babysitter phase, she became the parent, basically doing the cooking and cleaning for herself while her parents were having romantic dinners at fancy restaurants, basically parenting herself. Elle moved out of her house at eighteen, and instead of going to college she went from a part-time waitress to a full-time waitress at the Strawberry Cups Cafe. She shares the rent with her cousins Haven and Liam.
Others: When she was in high school and in her twenties, she had a tendency of falling in love too easily, but after a serious break-up, she considers relationships a waste of her time.

Strengths: Level headed, Calm in desperate situations, Laid-Back, Rational, Willing to help, Caring in his own way.
Weaknesses: Procrastinator, Sometimes can't be taken seriously, Sarcastic, Densely forthright.
Bio: Haven was raised by his single mother in an apartment in the city. Though they didn't have much, they both had a mutual respect for eachother, she would watch out for him, which was the natural role of a mother, and he would even watch out for her, mainly because she would always bring home guys that were far from good for her. Once she met a good business man who could support her, she no longer needed to be dependant on Haven. He left the apartment that they were living in to get a job and support himself and she left the apartment to live with her boyfriend, who turned into her fiancé, and then her husband within the course of four years of living with eachother. Haven shares a three-room apartment with his cousins Elle and Liam (mainly because none of them made enough of a living to afford an adequate place of their own  and all of them refused to take money from their parents) and pays a third of the rent. He is a DJ at the Blue Lights Resto Bar.
Others: His cousins often drag him to get makeup, making him a customer by circumstance. He also acts as the one watching over his cousins to make sure their chaos and mischief doesn't ensue to the point it's a threat to society.

Strengths: Hard-working, Independent, Confident
Weaknesses: Sarcastic, Slightly Arrogant, Brutally honest (when asked his opinion), Easily bored.
Bio: Liam was born into wealth, his father being doctor and his mom a lawyer. They both expected him to follow in their footsteps, howeve it was just a life Liam never wanted for himself. Once they began to push arranged marriage, Liam left the house. At seventeen, he went to live with his cousins Elle and Haven. Liam transferred and finished the one month of highschool he had left and went to collage for design. His parents disapproved and disowned him, cutting him off. Liam continued collage and works part-time at the URC mall until he finishes school, wanting to pull his own weight. He pays for a third of the rent.  
Others: Liam makes it a mission to make sure his cousin Elle leaves the house in something that at least matches. He uses her as a guinea pig for his class, and at the same time slowly improves her rather poor taste. He goes to the cosmetic company often with his cousin to help her with buying things.

Strengths: Persistence, Self-motivation, Focus, Imagination, Desire to improve.
Weaknesses: Aggressiveness, Obsessive, Paranoid, Narcissistic.
Bio: Marcus is the adoptive older brother of Leo. Always been the shadow of his younger brother Marcus distanced him-self from his parent. On Marcus' 18th he disappeared leaving behind a single business card. Packed up and on the go Marcus' love for science flourish advancing in any field he found him-self in. For the last few years Marcus has been head researcher of the Primrose cosmetic team.
Others: Marcus has showed sigh of schizophrenia. But this therapist thinks otherwise.

Bio: Phora was raised to know inner beauty and not take no for an answer. After graduating from the local university, she decided that she would design healthy cosmetics for women like her. Unfortunately, her plans and the plans of Primrose don't usually coincide.
Others:She has a part time job at the coffee shop to help pay off her school loans.

Role: researcher
Strengths: chemistry, innovation, friendliness, energy
Weaknesses: excessive weirdness, social conformity and sex appeal
Bio: Carissa is a real mix of nationalities. Her mother is Asian and her father, European. Her grandparents before them also were mixed blood. That mix of different nationalities leaves her a tad culturally-confused. At times, she would adapt oriental behaviorism yet mutter in her annoyance, some French, Italian or some other language she chose to study on a whim. She is exceptionally intelligent and skipped grades while studying. As much as she is smart though, she's also pretty kooky and tends to make all kinds of strange experiments in the PrimRose lab. She is dubbed ' Queen of Crazy' in the workplace and doesn't mind or notice at all if called that to her face. She is good friends with the president of PrimRose who was more than glad to have her on the research team.

Name: Cameron Winterborne
Age: Twenty eight
Role: Researcher
Strengths: Level headed, often serious, loyal, hardworking, ethical, coy, and quiet
Weaknesses: Usually taken advantage of, misunderstood, passive, gets weird when he’s drunk, and a bit lacking in the romance department
Bio: Raised as a suburban kid, he had this way of gathering people around him. He had a way of speaking of things so interesting when those things are of the most ordinary things. He was a brilliant student in school; teachers adored his opinions and knowledge. Peers flocked to listen to him speak of how he thought of the world. It was odd that he could never make many friends, or at least, people he could take comfort in. Surely, many people liked him enough, but he could never connect deeply with anyone. As he took his path in the sciences, his difficulties in connecting with people had risen and Cameron finally found himself a very quiet person. He graduated college and sought to find a job with whatever he can make of his major, and found nothing at first until someone from the PrimRose research lab took him up as an intern. Eventually, when Cameron became more comfortable, he began work. Cameron likes the people he works with, even though some of their tendencies are odd, but likes that they are outgoing. He finds them solitary and is becoming more and more himself when he's around them.
Others: Cameron was never one to be in a relationship because he never really felt affection towards anyone, nor was he in a rush to until he found the right one he could spend the rest of his life with. That was until he accidently dialed Lenore while he was trying to call the lab. One could say he fell in love at first…well…conversation and the two immediately took up talking personally for a number of months. Cameron now wants to meet Lenore, since the two haven’t met face to face yet, but she keeps making some sort of excuse not to see him and he is curious why. He doesn’t want to be kept being led on, but he thinks Lenore is ‘the one’.
Many of those who know him know he is talking to this girl, knowing that this relationship will probably end up disappointing him in the end.

Strengths: IQ of 204, brilliant chemist
Weaknesses: Clumsy
Bio: Researcher Kang is not, by American standards, a particularly incompetent man. He does better work than most, and can match even the most dedicated researcher once he hits his stride. He is, however, just below the impossibly-high bar set for competence standards at BCI's world headquarters. Thus, he has been transferred to the States to assist the latest BCI acquisition - PrimRose Cosmetics - and to secretly keep an eye on same.
Others: Researcher Liu is a hobby linguist, and can fluently speak fifteen languages (including Latin and both Old and Middle English). He graduated from Beijing University at the age of 12, and has been working for BCI full-time since the day he graduated.

Bio: Kyla got her Master of Business Administration degree from a somewhat reputable school as she did in her undergrad years. She just never got honors simply because she was generally too lazy to do any more than pass. In fact, she spent all the free time of her college years partying or getting her drink on. That was when she met Ren, Carissa and a few other people. From then on, she expanded her pool of connections and soon enough, she got herself a guy for everything she could ever need. Flowers, fake IDs, professional services... Name it, she's got it. Because of that though, she sometimes gets involved with the wrong crowd.

Role: CEO, Chairman of the Board and head of R&D, Bamboo Cosmetics Intl.

Weaknesses: Arrogance, racist towards most Westerners
Bio: Xiao Beitang is the fourth-generation heir to the Bamboo Cosmetics international line, one of the companies losing a significant portion of the local market share to PrimRose. While he may have inherited his position, Chairman Xiao would have been ousted by in-company rivals long before if he were not as good at his job as he is. He has run both Bamboo Cosmetics as a whole and the R&D department in particular with brutal efficiency for the past forty years.
Others: Chairman Xiao's face is not naturally bone-white, but he uses some of his own product to affect the coloration. After a lab accident fourteen years ago he walks with a cane most of the time.

Bio: Ashriel moved out of her parents' home almost as soon as she turned eighteen. Desperately, she had searched for job openings concerning the one thing she knew she was good at - programming. The only one she could find was with PrimRose. And, hey, it got her discounted cosmetics to cover up her nerdy self.
Others: Although she is rather bright, Ashriel falls prey to stereotypes more often than not, and ends up overcompensating for them.

Strengths: Manipulative, man-killer, persuasive, an incredible liar, business oriented, and classy
Weaknesses: Illogical at times and incredibly demanding, has high expectations, arrogant and stubborn, and has a weakness to good guys
Bio: Lenore had always wanted to be a writer since she was in high school and achieved her dream in her third year of college when a local magazine took notice of her talents and signed her in as a writer. She has high demands to create cunning advice and trendy articles for her readers, much to her editors like, and has since then created a reputable name under “Sweet Ann”.
Her social life began immediately when she began her job and she soon became popular with men, frequenting clubs and bars mainly to get inspiration for her writings. Currently, however, a mediocre cosmetics brand has popped her interest and Lenore finds herself wanting to know more about these ‘cunning’ salesmen who sell these cheap products to vulnerable women. She hopes to alas expose PrimRose to the many women out there, and generate fame out of it.
Others: Despite Lenore’s scantily clad figure and dominant personality, she has a ‘boyfriend’. Sure, she hasn’t met him face to face but she has a certain weakness for him. He accidently called her after messing up a phone number, and the two have been constantly talking ever since, taking solace in his sweet personality. They’ve been talking for a year now and he finally wants to meet her face to face and wants to know her true identity but she keeps making excuses not to meet up; mostly because she’s afraid of commitment.
However, having a ‘boyfriend’ does not stop her from flirting with other guys.

PrimRose Cosmetics Store
The very first branch of PrimRose Cosmetics Inc. It is located on the corner of Riale St. and Abacus St. in the commercial district of Brennevile City. The office of the president is currently located in the second floor.

PrimRose Cosmetics Research Lab
This is where all the products of PrimRose Cosmetics are developed and manufactured. It is located in the industrial area of the city. It is a thirty minute drive away from the PrimRose store and houses a mini-kitchen where the researchers hangout.

Strawberry Cups Cafe
Living up to its name, it specializes in strawberry-based desserts and drinks. They also have fine selection of cakes, teas and coffee. This little cafe is just across the street from the PrimRose Cosmetics store, along Riale Street and is a favorite hangout of the store's workers. Also popular among couples around the area.

Blue Lights Resto Bar
A popular place for the more edgy. It is a combination of a pub and a club, complete with bar, couches, dance floor and VIP room. It's just a ten minute walk from the PrimRose store.

Urban Retail Center (URC) Mall
This place has everything anyone needs - department store, boutiques, electronics shops, office supplies, bookstore, grocery, furniture stores, restaurants, etc. You name it, they've got it! It's about a thirty minute drive from the store but it has most of the things anyone will ever need so it's usually a worthwhile trip.
