Gilbert is only 15 and the things written above are his story.He's been abused most of his life but rarely remembers anything before nine years old.He decides he wants to die and sneaks out on a rainy night to go jump off the city bridge at midnight.When he gets there,as he stood on the railing he heard footsteps and decided now was the time and as he fell backwards he saw someone falling with him,reaching.He woke up after someone have released the water from his lungs,they'd given him CPR and they were washed up on the river bank not very far from the bridge.Gilbert begs for the person to let him go drown but the person simply does not let him go.The person took him home and in the light of this person house he saw it was a young boy maybe a couple of years older than him.Gilbert couldnt help be stare....

Gilbert snuck outside,his breathing labored because of what he was about to do, he looked over the side of the bridge as he stared down into the calm water.He slowed his breathing as he climbed on top of the railing steadying himself before he fell when he wasnt ready.

Ruuji was coming home from work when he saw the boy.He was too far even though he was running was still too far.At some point he let go of his umbrella and ran as fast as he could.

Gilbert glanced around hearing the footsteps and stepped off the bridge backwards,the cool air feeling good against his skin.

Ryuuji jumped down and tried to catch him.He swam to him and took him out on the surface then he swam tot h left bank.Ryuuji checked his pulse and gave him CPR.

Gilbert rolled to his side and coughed up the remaining water in his lungs and as he gasped for air he gripped his "saviors" shirt "Why....why'd you...do that!" he asked in a cracked and raspy voice as he began to cry and cough.

"I couldn't let you die"he said and looked at him.He sat next to him and petted him tempting to calm him.

Gilbert weakly began to bat his hand away "Dont touch me...."he said repeatedly inbetween sobs as he began to drift in and out of conciousness.
