Looking to Crossplay!

Hi! I've been cosplaying for a few years and avidly go to cons, but I've always been a girl. It's time for a change. I can sew and I have a steady job, so I don't have a particular limit in those fields. The hair colors I cannot do are red, dark brown, green, violet, and orange. I prefer blonde or black hair.

I don't watch anime or read manga anymore, however, I will gladly do one if the costume is amazing! I prefer video game characters above all, but comics and other media are welcome!

I would prefer a costume that has an intermediate degree of difficulty.
Please do not choose young boys or feminine-looking men.

Height: 5'2"
Weight: 130lbs.
Build: Athletic

Hmm, I thought of Fai from the manga/anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles:


It's great seeing a cosplay of him at cons because I love seeing the details people put into his outfit, especially the back of his winter coat (Like the below image~) and his staff (One person had a bunch of blue jewel-stone-things dangling off their staff and it looked gorgeous!).

anyway, i know you said no to many of the more common colors, but you can see some characters from the video games/anime i like (though this is for one of the games) here

It's okay about the wig colors, it's mostly that I haven't tried/liked the look of them.

I think he looks really cool, but I don't know if I'd pull him off seeing as I'm very short and he does have facial hair. xD

I like those ideas. I've thought about Link, too, since I can then do a duo cosplay with my sister. C:
Although, Link's more common, so I may lean toward the others more.
