Tick tick tick the watch was snapped shut as she entered. "Thank you for coming on time. I trust the gnomes told you what to expect so shall we get started?" He tapped his foot on the stage, a large black dog coming to stand next to him. "Greer here will be your opponent. I'm afraid that this will be a rather simple battle but I was given your exam on rush orders as it were. Someone can't really file paperwork all that well I'm afraid. At least Frosty could get the bloody names right." He muttered under his breath.
The hound panted looking Amphi up and down, claws scratching at the stage floor. "Now, rules are simple. Just try to knock each other out. Once one of you is out we'll wrap things up. I have little to share I'm afraid but, as far as fighting off a dog-" he tapped his head as he moved off stage. "He really is a dog in some ways, be mindful of that."
A growl from the black beast and suddenly it began to do more than look it was leering. A shift, and a hunter stood in front of her, grin on his face. Amphi might know him as well, he had tried to hit on her at the worst moment. She was fighting a dopplegangger, one who apparently was going to take the form of one Dakota Rainstar.
In the background Rengath was rolling his eyes. Students and their thing with hunters. He'd never get it.

Amphi cocked her head again at the teacher, nodding as he explained the rules of her exam. Funny, she hadn't quite gotten that she was taking a exam from the gnomes. Then again the gnomes really hadn't done a lot for the mermaid besides lead her here.
She studied the dog, hesitating at the idea of fighting the beast. She wasn't a fighter? So why was her exam about it?
She stared as the thing took a different shape, shifting into a hunter blazen with a moon symbol on his back. Tanned skin and dark ruffle of hair...and those orange eyes that seemed to crawl over her.
"Hey Babe...." The doppleganger Dakota tucked it's hands in his pockets and grinned, "I had heard that mermaids were real men seducers, why don't you come over and show me?"
Amphi gasped silently, turning on her heel so that she didn't have to face the boy, placing theater seats between them.
"Come on little mermaid, playing hard to get won't do anything but excite me in the chase!" Dakota doppelganger hopped off the stage, striding over to the smaller girl and taking her arms in his. Amphi fought his hold though, trying to slide her way out of it. They had found her, they had tracker her. They sent this hunter to get her.
Her heart raced as she pulled back and hit the Dakota wannabe.
"Oh playing rough now are we?" Dakota doppelganger, slid his hands up her arms, his hold slightly bruising.

Dakota doppelganger continued his hold on the girl, grin only widening when she squirmed in his arms.
Until she got a good kick right in the balls. Just like Thanatos showed her. Dakota gasped and melted into the dog who whined a little. Instantly feeling bad, Amphi reached out to touch Greer, hoping to ease the pain she inflicted on him. He was after all...just a innocent puppy.
A puppy that shifted again, hair brown with a white streak down the front, jacket blazed with the moon symbol as well. The one who had caught her in the lake....
Marcus.
"Look, its really not personal. I was just letting Dakota have his cake and eat it too..." he seemed apologetic as he moved to attack. Two things that never well...equaled each other.
She barely managed to avoid his hit, grazing her. It upset her, most defenitly upset her that the hunter was apologizing to her. After capturing her, after helping the other hunters in placing her in a lab. She could blame Marcus for the start of all these problems, of all that happened to her. And she did, anger contorting the regular serene face. Because of the hunters, she wouldn't be normal anymore. Anything but normal. She would be broken and and used and tagged.
Why couldn't they have just left them alone?

She rolled as the combination hunter attacked, taking it down with her and dug her teeth into the most fleshy part of the hunter doppleganger.
In response, the Greer froze and then shifted to dog form and then collapsed under her, knocked out.
She silently cried out, the little dog not moving under her. Little as in almost as big as her. She looked over to Rengath with wide eyes and panicked expression, gesturing to the dog and then letting her hands glow with her healing FEAR.
Could she heal him instead!?!?
