So. Sleeping with a bra on.
I dont do it, super uncomfortable for me. But I have heard that if you sleep with one on, it increases your risk of breast cancer. Is this true, or is it a myth?
Do you ladies know if it causes any harm?
This might seem like a stupid question, but I honestly dont know D:

i slept with a sports bra on once when i was younger because i thought i could "break it in." cut me some slack; i was eleven.
that stupid idea messed up my neck for at least a week- i couldn't move it at all otherwise it would hurt. i also think it hurt my shoulder blade, too. :'D
so no, i don't wear bras when i sleep. most of the time anyways- if i'm too exhausted to change into pj's, i'm gonna sleep in my clothes, bra and all.
and no, i've never heard of that. it could be possible, but i don't see how a piece of fabric and other material could do that. i can ask my mom if it's possible- she's a radiation oncologist (basically, she treats people with cancer- although from what i gather, she mostly gets head & neck patients), so she might know.

i heard the myth from a friend of mine when i was in middle school but i never believed it. i don't sleep in bras though because they're too uncomfortable and get twisted up around me. i have slept in camisols though with the build in bras, those are comfy

I always sleep with a bra.
I always imagine that what if something bad happens
while i'm sleeping and i need to get out of my house real fast
I ain't going all crazy looking.

I always sleep with mine on and im 15 have slept with it on for 8 years n nthn has happened

I've heard the same thing before too, and although I have no way of verifying whether it's true or not, I always take my bra off when I go to bed.
Quite aside from the rumor, I don't like the idea of it chaffing my skin all throughout the night like it does during the day. Besides, it's comfortable and makes me feel like I'm giving my breasts a break.
If I feel there's a chance I might have to wake up later for some reason, I have worn a very loose sports bra, so as not to be too revealing. ><

Ummm, I always sleep with it on. I guess I'm used to it? When I'm dreaming the bra doesn't exist so that's good enough for me. Haven't heard of the breast cancer thing, but boy that kinda scares me now sweatdrop

I don't sleep with a bra on most of the time, and if I do,
it's a sports bra.

♥ I kind of sleep naked with my SO, so I don't wear a bra... /awkward.
However I'm pretty sure it's just an old wives tale about the cancer.

I always wear a bra when I sleep... It's something that would bother me until I got used to it. It would bother me more if I slept without it, so...
As for the thing about breast cancer, I've never heard it until now. So I'm a bit paranoid. O.o

I sleep with a bra on. I just...can't imagine myself evert not wearing a bra ever again.
It's a sports bra.
I've heard of that; I've asked an expert about it, she said it was a myth.

I sleep with my bra on. Every time I tried sleeping without a bra on so many years ago, my breasts would be sore when I woke up.

Never herd of the breast cancer thing if you sleep with one on. Kinda freaked me out to be honest as for sleeping with one on, really depends if i get home late i sleep in clothes and all. normally I dont sleep in one though.
