Mei was beginning to consider renting out a room here. She frequented this place way too much for her liking. It was actually starting to piss her off now. What started off as a simple trip to the school, ended up being a walk to the haunted house. She could only guess what lay ahead for her. More hunters. Fine, right. Lets get this over with then.
Making her way up the steps and into the building, the doll glanced about for any sign of life in the current location of the house. With on one in sight, she continued on. There really had to be an exit somewhere, right? All the hunters could come and go as they please. Why couldn't they? Possibly because all the hunters had those pendants with them, that acted like some sort of transportation method. Amityville needed to invest in something like that for themselves.
Locating a staircase, Mei peered into the first set of rooms, careful not to make a lot of noise and alert anyone who may or may not be lurking about this place. It was a difficult task, as every other foot step cause a loud creak in the floor. Yeah, she totally gave up trying to be quiet.
Finally stopping by one room, Mei decided to investigate it further. The room was empty, no chairs, tables, anything. The only thing in it were a load of mirrors decorating the wall. Well..at least she would be able to see someone coming if they tried to sneak up on her.

"I hate haunted house patrol." Saya muttered upon her leave from the headquarters, a irate moderator ignoring her complaints and leaving her inside the haunted house instead. Prompto remained uncertainly in her hand, as Saya roamed through the haunted house.
She whispered, wounds still existent from the time of the hunter escape.
"I dont like this."
She edged around the wall of a room, noting there was an open door. Trying to ninja along the wall in plain sight was probably typical for the star-themed trainee, as stealth and everything one needed in combat wasn't exactly in her manual. Saya took a notebook from a pocket under her sash, recording information of the rooms around her. She might have also been busily writing as she walked into the next room.
"I'm begging you to be empty, just be empty and I can go back, with nothing to report." She whispered, holding her weapon, hovering slightly above the ground. Biting her lip, Saya might have turned to exit after taking two steps in.

With nothing in sight, Mei had begun to examine the mirrors no the wall. many were cracked, or little..weird. Some of the mirrors looked as though they belonged in a fun house. You could barely make out your own reflection, what with all of them distorting your features. Shrugging, she looked over some of the other mirrors. Some were rusted, others had no reflection at all--the glass was gone. Finally, she came across a larger mirror that covered the majority of the wall. It still seemed in good condition, save for a few small cracks and cobwebs covering the whole thing.
Wiping it down, she caught a glimpse of something--someone out side the doorway. Spinning around to see who it was, she saw enough white to realize what they were. "Come out, hunter. I can see you standing there."

"Um, you know, I would really prefer not to come out because I remember you and I'm not sure if I want to get into a fight with you." Saya peeked through the door, confirming that carmine red color. It was a really pretty wine red, really, except with everything else that came with it. She remembered that girl from her first battle, at the horsemen islands.
Saya thought about it. If she didn't fight her, she would fight someone else. Maybe it was better .. if Saya fought her? Imagining Charlotte in Julie's position-- or another hunter in a similar one .. A powerful enough thought to keep the trainee from retreating back.
"Well, I think I take that back. If I don't go, you'll just attack another hunter, right?"
Everyone was so hostile these days and neither side could really blame each other for it since each side was to blame entirely for it. Saya stepped cautiously out, one foot in front of the door and one foot by the wall.

Mei blinked a few times, watching and listening carefully to the hunter as she refused to show herself. From what she had said, this wasn't the first time the two had met. She couldn't place the hunter though..not when she only had the voice to remember her by. She needed to see who this was before she could recall where they may have met. Folding her arms, she waited patiently, not making a move until the female hunter did.
The corner of her mouth twitched up into a half smile when she replied again. Was it opposite day or something? Normally, this was what she and other students would be saying to the hunters. It was them who usually preyed on her kind in this haunted house. Apparently, this ghoul thought it was the other way around. Not answering, she waited until she stepped out and showed herself, before answering.
"You.." Leaning forward slightly to get a better look, she straitened herself out again, finally noticing where it was she had seen this hunter. "You were the ghoul back there..the one at the four clans, were you not?"

No point in lying now. Saya uncomfortably crossed one foot in front of the other, the only gesture showing she was a little more nervous than usual. Her smile, however, was the same as always.
"Yes."
Saya didn't feel the need to remind her, how this girl knocked Saya out at the end. She stood a even distance away from the ghoul, fingers gripping her weapon. Saya lapsed into silence afterwards, as there was no necessity to know the student's name or distinctive features, besides her looks, for category's sake. That was how Saya reasoned it, the less trivialities, the better. But even if she defeated one here now, they respawned, didn't they? Humans only had one life though ..
In the end, it all came down to, Saya preferred not to know the names and faces she had to strike at. Even she had to admit, it was a little pathetic. A slong sigh escaped from her mental train of thought, taking a moment to glance around the battlefield.
Mirrors might be a bit harder to fight in.

It had been a while since she had last encountered this ghoul. A lot of things had happened since the destruction of the four clans. A good deal of things, but she definitely remembered her. It was hard to forget this ghoul. She stood out fairly easily from her kind, what with her hair colour and that weapon she wielded.
Mei didn't speak, she instead remained in a thoughtful silence for a moment, thinking things over quickly. She had a lot of questions she wanted to ask the hunters, but she wasn't sure how many of them would be willing to answer them.
Finally, Mei looked to Saya once again. She didn't seem to be the kind that enjoyed battle, and judging from what she had said before she entered the room, it confirmed her thoughts. But it was obvious she wasn't going to leave her be either.
"Well then, I suppose we better get this done and over with now."
