Welcome to the Tektek Design Contest! Design a tektek and create a background story for your little character to bring them to life! If you get your entry in before the last week countdown, you will be added to a people's choice poll. Only then will you be in the running to win that award. If your entry comes in after the countdown has started, too bad, you will not be in the running for that prize, but you may still be elligeble for the other prizes.
This months theme:
NERD
The theme for the tektek's will be updated each month. 3 people will win a place each month, one person will win People's Choice and one person will win Best Story. Winning designs will be added to our art request thread.
1st Place - 20,000 gold
2nd Place - 10,000 gold
3rd Place - 5,000 gold
Best Story - 5,000 gold
People's Choice - 5,000 gold Rules

♥ Those who place are welcome again to enter the next month
♥ Follow the Lover of the Arts rules
♥ It is possible to win a place, a people's choice and best story if your entry is good enough

♥ Put a dramalama emoticon in your entry so I know you have read the rules. Those who do not have this in their entry will be disqualified. The emoticon will change each month in case the rules change. Ok, I have been slacking off and just happened to... how should I put this... forget about this contest. Aha sweatdrop Nah, not really, I've just been a bit busy. So the final week will start today (28th September) instead of when it was meant to, and it will go into the start of next month, but I'll work around that. Anyway, you still have time to put in an entry for any of the places and the best story prizes so get designing!

my name is NeatScribblez, I love math and i love to play games. My favorite thing about math is literal equations. I'm in AP classes so everyone her is way older than me and i don't really have friends. But i love math. Most people don't like me because i ware big glasses. Most people say I'm a nerd but oh well that's what they say. I also have had braces a long time and they make fun of me for that too. I am in lots of clubs like drama club and math clubs i especially love math math clubs. I also love hats and always ware my suspenders, of course you have to look good. and that's why i carry around my sword, first of its cool, or at least i think it is. I love video games if i could sit in a room all day and play video games... oh wait i already do. All my friends say i look fly...oh wait i only have one friend. dramallama

Hi there I'm Lizzie, I love math but my favorite class is my creative writing class. I love to read just for the fun of it so you'll always find me in the library whenever possible.If I'm not reading a great story I'm writing one. Sometimes you'll see me drawing out my characters so I can get a better understanding of them myself. Mostly everyone ignores me because I'm very quiet. So only I consider myself a nerd, my friends just think I'm crazy. dramallama

Hey there! My name is Calvain, and I love Clea!
Um, I'm very well known around my school! But..... only because I love a girl named Clea. Everyone knows her and respects her! ...Unlike me.... but Clea is there for me!
Uh, I know this is supposed to be about myself, but Clea really is part of myself! She shoes her love in a very physical way. One time, she was so surprised when I hugged her she threw me across the room! Can you believe how strong our love is, that it empowers my sweetheart to become so strong?
A lot of people tell me she is a bad person, but I don't believe them! She may get into fights, and she does horrible in school, but our flaws are perfected when we are together! See, we are like a puzzle of two! I'm not very strong, so when the bullies and popular kids try to hurt me, she always helps me out! And when she's failing is school, I use my brains to help her pass a test! Isn't that great?
Well, she's telling my to shutup and stop flattering her. So, I'll, um, change the topic?
I love literature and algebra, and I have a stylistic eye for clopthes! I'm often seen in a plaid shirt with a brown vest and jeans, wearing dirty bucks! Isn't that soooo in fashion? Sorry, and I hopping and moving around to much for you? Sorry! I'm told I'm like a puppy all the time!
I'm very outgoing and love to read! You can often find me following Clea around! She's always showing me new parts of town! I think they look kind of shady, but if Clea goes there it must be fine! I'm still in Highschool although apparently I'm collage level. I'd really like to go to college, but I stay in the grade I'm in so I can be with Clea..... she says she never ever wants to go to college, so I might not go at all because I can't stand being without her.... But if Clea doesn't think it's the right thing to do, then I belive her!
Whoops, the conversation went back to Clea! Sorry, like I said my life revolves around her. I'm thee expert on Clea, and a nerd concerning everything else! Well, um, Clea's waking away really fast.... so I guess it's time to go! Hey Clea, wait up!

OCC:// Dunno if I'm allowed to do this but I typed up my character Cailvin's personality/monologue that is pretty random or pointless and then made an avatar in tek tek that is really similar to him..... Uh, if you didn't pick up on it Clea is a delinquent that Calvain is strongly attracted to. A comparison is a puppy and it's mother... except... Clea doesn't want to be the mother! Even if Calvain has helped her out numerous times and she scares the bullies off.
This is, in fact, the first time I've written anything at all about him, so it turned out nicely considering I didn't have a very firm idea. ♥

If not, why don't you save your current outfit in the outfit section, switch to your character avi and take a screenshot. Or just put the items together in tektek. Not all too hard, right? If you truly believe you can't put the image in your entry, that is okay this once, but you must not change your avatar or you will be diqualified. Please, if you wish to put an entry into this competition again in the future, sort out this problem, and comply with the rules.

Elizabeth is a quiet person. She goes through each day wanted to be unnoticed. Her sharp eyes make it seem like she is always glaring at everyone so she mainly stays to her books.
Although she appears like this at school; outside of school she is known as Lisa. Lisa is the number one model of this generation. Her secret is kept very carefully and no one will ever suspect such a beautiful girl like Lisa could be such a dull nerd like Elizabeth and like wise for her school self. This keeps her safe...for now.

 heya! so uhm.. I'm Pyro. I havn't been very active in this guild and I got this announcement for the contest so i thought I'd give it a try! I love tektek so this seemed pretty cool. Uhm. I actually modeled this guy after someone i knew in middle school. He was a nerd. Like seriously. He was always reading. Always helping the teachers. He always finished a test before everyone else. He didnt seem to like that he was so smart tho. He would always try to dress cool and look cool and be cool. He was not a very nice guy and was usually pretty angry most of the time. He tried to hide his, well, nerdiness. So this tektek represents a nerd in the library trying to look cool, while being rather angry. uh ohhh someone's neeerrdd is shhhhooowwwinnggg!
