[1v1] You're Goin' Down (Danny + Circe)

Danny donated another jab to the punching back. First right, another right, then left. After waking up from her "nap," she was sore, and out of practice with exercise. So it was back to the gym for her!

She really did wish she had someone to fight with though. It was so much more eventful than moving her arms the exact same way. She took a break and shook her tail out a little.

Well Danny wasn't going to sit there and wait for people to come to her. "HEY DOES ANYONE WANNA FIGHT?" she shouted quite loudly. Pretty much everyone in the surrounding mile radius heard her. Now she just had to wait.

... Right?

Circe had just arrived back at school after taking a leave of absence to visit her parents after the whole hell in the clans land thing. Her body felt like it was itching to hit something or if she was lucky, someone. She had learned that fighting with someone was much better then fighting a dummy and since the whole clans thing she was not looking to relive the training days she had in the War clan. Not that she had hated it. However, the thought of them coming alive didn't sit well with her.

Slowly the reaper ghoul made her way into the gym and looked around. Seemed like there were a few people here. Maybe something had happened while she was away? Circe shrugged. Wasn't like it mattered at the moment. She beamed from ear to ear when she heard someone shout out that they were looking for someone to spar with. "Yes!" She exclaimed enthusiastically before making her way over to the ghoul in question. "I would love to fight with you!" Circe beamed even more brightly.

Danny whipped around to see a tattooed ghoul offering to fight. She recognized the ghoul from Movie Club, but she truly couldn't place the ghoul's name. Something with a K maybe?

Either way, Danny gestured for the ghoul to come over, taking off training gloves and setting them on a bench nearby. "Neat!" she said happily. "You can go first, okay?"

She cracked her knuckles a few times. Unfortunately for Circe, fighting was the one thing Danny was very serious business about. Well, either way, they'd have a good time!

"Okay." Circe replied as she got herself ready. It had been a while since she had last fought with someone and even then she had known she had a long way to go until she could consider herself a fighter but she was determined to at least try.

After taking in a deep breath Circe made an attempt to punch the ghoul in her shoulder making a 'ha' sound as she did so. At least it was an attempt. In truth Circe had never fought with another ghoul before and found herself struggling a bit on how best to attack.

Danny was genuinely surprised by the ghoul's power. It was a well-placed hit, and after boxing so much, her shoulders were loose and tender. A nice place to aim for indeed!

"Wow that was neat," Danny said, sidestepping any other hits the ghoul had to offer. "'Specially for a snot!"

She aimed a punch to the ghoul's stomach, but missed and sort of awkwardly smacked her knuckles against the ghoul's elbow. It was still a powerful hit, but directed in the complete wrong spot. "What's your name again?"

"Thanks! It's been a while since I last sparred with someone." She managed to say before she found herself struck not only by awe but Danny's fist. Wow, this chick was fast, not to mention her hit hurt pretty bad in her elbow.

"Wow, you are amazing!" Circe exclaimed as she tried to make a hit on the ghouls outer thigh with her right leg but the attack ended up barely grazing her. "My names Circe Livonia but you can call me Circe." She replied. Then it dawned on her she had no idea who this ghoul was although she did look familiar. Maybe they had the War trials together? No... That wasn't it. Hmm. This would require more thought. "What's your name? You look familiar."

Circe. What a nice name! Danny always liked the bedtime story about the witch Circe from Greece.

"Neat I'm Danny," she said, moving out of the way just in time for Circe to only graze her leg, not land a direct hit like last time. She had to give the little reaper ghoul props, the ghoul knew where to aim!

She pivoted on her back foot, grabbing the ghoul's arm and swinging her around, attempting to throw the ghoul into a more susceptible spot. Once positioned, Danny lashed across the ghoul's thigh with her tail- just barely grazing the surface.

Her face was calm and focused, but after hitting the ghoul with fire, she seemed to break from her determination for a moment. She blinked and few times, body relaxing. "Oh uh ... sorry, is fire okay? I forgot not everyone likes it ..." she said, awkwardly scratching the back of her neck. One more look at the ghoul's thigh and she said, "It's not bad ... It should be good by tomorrow."

Circe smiled, "nice to meet you Danny!" She replied just before she noticed the ghoul unleashing her own attack... WITH HER TAIL. Her eyes widened when she saw the fire end of it. Thankfully somewhere along the line she had pulled her leg over just enough to be barely hit. The necromancer couldn't help but breath a sigh of relief.

"Oh, it's okay." Circe said with a smile to ensure that Danny knew that it really was okay. "After all, this is a fight. One of us has to go home worse than the other." She laughed a little before trying to brush it off by doing a high kick to the shoulder she had hit before but found herself having a hard time lifting her leg.

Oh that was exciting. It was good to know that not everyone one campus was a little sissy about fire. Maybe she just needed to stop hanging out with undeads?

Danny grabbed the foot that came up to her shoulder, gripped the ankle and then tossed the ghoul backwards with the momentum. "Oh!" she said as Circe went flying. "You're friends with Roch, aren't you!"

It was only now in the middle of injuring the poor ghoul that she remembered where exactly she'd heard the name before.

There was no time to react to being tossed like a ragdoll behind Danny and as soon as she landed she felt like the wind was knocked out of her. Thankfully not so bad as she couldn't go on. After a few coughs Circe extended her back leg and kicked at the part right behind Danny's knee's. "Yeah, I am. Well, I haven't seen him in a long time. Since we returned from Horsemen hell." She replied as she rose to her feet with a giggle.

"Are you friends with him too?" Maybe she had seen this ghoul at that party Roch had a while back. That day she had met a ton of Roch's friends and if being honest, it was hard to remember all of them.

Danny wiggled onto the ground as Circe broke her stance. Wow this ghoul had a lot more in her than she'd been expecting!

An elbow came up to Circe's face- Danny wasn't above low tricks. She did quite a number of damage. Circe had potential sure, but Danny had experience and time.

"Of course!" she said, almost taken aback by the fact that someone didn't know of her love for the reaper boil. "He is my best friend in the whole wide world!" she announced proudly, taking a moment to revel in the glory that was her best friend. Then she returned to punch the ghoul in the stomach and said, "So don't get any ideas!"
