The story will start with Mir working at AS. While peering out the window, she sees Draa cutting through the grounds in a hurry. Surprised to see him and in disbelief it's actually him, she pursues him to get a closer look, following him as he disappears into the thick of the apple trees. When he crawls into an oversized rabbit hole, she follows in after him and soon finds herself in a room full of doors.
Seeing Draa, now suddenly much smaller, enter the tiniest door in the room, she finds she can't immediately follow as the door is too small for her to fit through. Through some trial and error of cake and potion, she manages to get to the right size to fit through the door and continues her pursuit, only to soon realize she's completely lost in a foreign land. However, unable to go back the way she came, she has no choice but to keep going forward.
In her wandering, she picks up a familiar scent and follows it which leads her to the serpentine Leko smoking a hookah. After what's bound to be a rather confusing exchange between the two, Leko gets bored and slithers away, parting with one last cryptic word of warning about the dangers of Wonderland. At first Miro tries to follow, but Leko vanishes, leaving her on her own once more.
Miro continues on aimlessly, taking a break after a while and wondering if she should set up some kind of make-shift camp as Wonderland is becoming dark. However, she also starts getting that distinct feeling that she's being watched. She hears Taus' voice and decides to keep moving, hoping she's not far from some kind of safe haven.
Suddenly a cat {which would be Kits in cat form} pops out of the bushes, which startles her at first, but seems to indicate to Miro that she should follow. Kits leads her to a lavish house in which Ryzan is residing. He answers the door for Kits and reluctantly allows Miro to enter as well. He tries to strike up a conversation with her out of forced politeness, but only gets annoyed by her and eventually kicks her out.
Back outside, she spots Taus on the roof, who tries to convince her to go with him. When she refuses, he reiterates Leko's warning of the dangers of Wonderland {revealing he'd been watching her all along} and insists that he is the most trustworthy of anyone she'll meet in Wonderland as the Queens are all mad and so is anyone loyal to them, especially there in Red territory. When she still refuses, he becomes impatient and tries to take her away by force, but Kits {still in cat form} intervenes and distracts him long enough for Miro to make a break for it, following a path into the woods.
After several twists and turns, Miro loses the path completely and laments that she may be stuck in that forest for the rest of her life. Kits {now in her more usual form} appears and directs her out of the forest and to Kai's house in White territory.
When they arrive, it's day time once more and Kai, Kaori, and Anira are all sitting at a long dinning table set out on the front lawn, having a tea party... or at least Kai and Kaori are. Anira is asleep. Miro tries to inquire from them where she might find Draa, or at least how to go about getting back to Geezerville, but pretty much only gets a bunch of nonsense out of them.
As she's wondering why Kits would have felt bringing her here would have been at all useful, Draa suddenly rushes by, nabbing a scone off the table and going on about his business like he was never there. She once again gives chase, but he's much faster than her and she eventually loses sight of him altogether.
Continuing on the path that he seemed to be following, she comes across Karrie and Mitri. She tries asking them if they saw where Draa went, but they seem too preoccupied with their own affairs to address her question. When she starts to get upset, they begin to argue over whose fault it is that she's upset. Vassnta comes along to break up the argument, and though not understanding the emotion Miro is expressing, he recognizes it as something he has seen Ayami do from time to time and decides to bring Miro to her to decipher it.
In the Queen of Clubs' castle, Miro tries to explain her situation to Ayami, but doesn't really understand anything Ayami tells her in response. As the conversation just continues to get more cryptic and confusing for Miro, Icy storms in, saying one of her guards has spotted Taus crossing into Clubs lands and wondering just what Ayami's white knight is doing about it.
Miro chimes in, saying that Taus probably followed her as he's been following her since she arrived. With the havoc Taus has been wreaking on royalty, Icy doesn't want him anywhere near Spades lands and decides to sic Miro onto katana to accomplish both getting Taus away from White territory and possibly dealing a blow to the Reds.
Suddenly evening, Miro is escorted back to Red territory and to the Queen of Diamonds' castle where katana and Tes are having a discussion over dinner, though Tes seems more interested in the free food than the conversation. When katana asks why she's there, Miro explains how she arrived in Wonderland by following Draa and can't ever seem to catch him.
Tes says he knows where he lives and offers to take her there after he finishes eating, but before he can even do that, Dougherty arrives and arrests him, saying a witness claims to have seen him stealing tarts, and considering he's "secretly" consorting with the Queen of Diamonds on top of that, he strongly suspects him to be guilty of treason to the land of Hearts as well.
Miro follows as Tes is escorted back to the Queen of Hearts' castle, but isn't allowed to accompany him all the way to the holding cells and is told she will have to wait until his trial to speak with the prisoner. Unsure what to do now, a staff member directs her to the dining room where Psy and Gio are having dessert. Another serving is brought out for her and the three begin to converse, but are interrupted by Dougherty who wishes to immediately tell Psy that the tart thief has been apprehended.
Dougherty is dismissed and Psy invites Mir to attend the croquet game she had already scheduled as after dinner entertainment. Miro doesn't really know what croquet is, but that's okay because neither does Psy.
The trio head out into the garden where the game is being set up and guests are arriving, which include Ryzan and katana. Having no understanding of the game as it starts, Psy begins to feel that she may somehow be losing. Taus purposefully manipulating the situation to try to incite Psy's anger certainly doesn't help either. While Kits, having been lurking in the background, chases Taus away to try to prevent any executions, Gio suggests to Psy that they forget the game and just move along to trials.
The group heads to the courtroom, most taking seats in the audience while the King and Queen of Hearts take their seats at the front of the court. Shortly after, Draa comes out to read off the list of trials to be held, though comes to realize about halfway through that most are already dead or otherwise missing. The only live one left is Tes. He reads off the charges as Tes is brought out.
The first witness called to the stand is Kai, who knows absolutely nothing about the case nor has any sort of connection to it. The next is the castle's cook who claimed to have personally seen Tes take the tarts, but now seeing both Tes and Draa in close proximity to each other, isn't sure which of them it actually was. Gio resolves to just have them both whacked, at which point Ryzan comes forward to testify that Tes could not have possibly taken the tarts because they were "otherwise occupied" at the time of the supposed theft. Draa now finds himself as the one on trial.
Miro is called as a witness when Draa states that he was halfway across Wonderland, but having no real concept of how time passes there, she can't say for certain that she personally saw him out there at the time of the theft. The question is then brought up as to what purpose Draa would need to be so far out of Red territory for, being that he's a vassal of the Queen of Hearts. As Draa fumbles for an answer, Psy prods him with a taser to get him to speak, which causes him to change into Vassnta. She prods him again when Vassnta is even less helpful in providing answers and he turns into Taus.
Dougherty immediately moves in to capture him before he has a chance to escape and asks Psy what he should do with him. Considering how much Taus has been terrorizing Wonderland royalty, a simple beheading doesn't seem fitting enough and he is instead sentenced to be eaten alive by Velcore.
Taus is escorted to Velcore's dwelling on the edge of Hearts lands with the members of the court following along to witness the execution. Miro isn't really sure how she should feel about it, having seen how easily Psy was able to get him to cycle through all three personalities. After a lot of internal debate as Taus is strapped to a post and left out to die, Miro decides at the last minute to try to rescue him, though having no real plan of action, thinks she may just end up getting eaten by the dragon along with him. Lucky for her, Velcore isn't an unreasonable dragon... just a hungry one. He allows her to free Taus in exchange for the goodies she has been acquiring on her journey through Wonderland.
Now free with his executioners so close by, Taus starts to go over to exact his revenge, only to be blindsided by Miro smiting him. Her holy bolt turns him back into Vass, and a second one turns him to Draa. The guards start clamoring to recapture him while he's still weak along with Miro for interfering with the execution. She quickly heals Draa and he leads her out of Wonderland, back to Geezerville.
And then they all lived happily ever after emotion_awesome The end~
