   Welcome, gals and ghouls, to the GGSA's Halloween tektek contest. As the banner states, this is, in fact, a drag contest.Thank you all once again for your participation! We'll soon pick a winner from each category, and the prizes will be awarded on Halloween.
Now is also the time to cast your vote for your favourite entry. Using the poll above, you can nominate the guildie who entered the best avatar. Results will be announced on November 7th. How to join the funUsing the tektek dream avatar creator, create your very best Halloween-themed avatars. There are three categories, so you have three chances to win.
Monster Mash
Horrify us with creepy or creative creatures, dangerous demons, frightening freaks, ghastly ghouls, and brutal beasts. Let's see your weird and wonderful supernatural avatars.
Drop Dead Stylish
Dress to kill! Give us your finest and most fashionable Halloween outfits. Use whichever colours you like.
Pumpkin Envy
Break out the orange and green and show off your most gourd-geous outfit. You don't need to look like a pumpkin, you just need to make a great outfit with those pumpkin colours.
The fine print
There is no entry fee, but you must be a guild member to participate
You may submit up to three outfits, one for each category. If you only want to enter one or two categories, that's fine, too.
Simply post your entries here in the thread.
Your avatar must be in drag.
Please give your entry a name; it doesn't affect the judging, but it comes into play when we determine a winner. (See the Judging & Prizes section below)
The total value of the avatar may not exceed 10,000,000 (ten million) gold.
The deadline for submissions is October 27th, and winners will be announced on October 31st and November 7th.
Judging & Prizes
Judging will be done by the guild crew, who will pick one winner from each of the three categories. These will be announced on Halloween.
In addition, you can vote for your favourite by sending me a PM with the name of the entry you like best. (Just use the poll. biggrin ) The guild favourite will be announced on November 7th, to ensure everyone has plenty of time to cast their vote.
The winner of each category, as well as the guild favourite, will receive a 50,000gold prize.
Things to considerThese aren't hard-and-fast rules, but they are things we will be considering while judging the entries.
Try to avoid using multiple items from a set or using multiple poses from a single item.
In the Pumpkin Envy category, try and keep all colours other than orange and green to a minimum. We understand that many items aren't purely orange or green, but the less we see of other colours, the better.

Unfortunately, the estimated value is 1,020,625,380 gold, and the maximum allowed for the contest is 10,000,000. You're certainly welcome to rework it; choosing different items in place of Asmodeus' Wings and Lovely Lucie would probably bring it well under 10mil. 3nodding

Purple Robot King And I guess this can go in either Monster Mash or Drop Dead Stylish, whichever it fits into more appropriately. It would go equally well in either category. 3nodding I put it in Drop Dead Stylish for now, but if you prefer one category over the other, you can switch any time before the contest closes.
