Outside the perimeter, the fog was as thick and foreboding as it had been on arrival. If anything it was more ominous given that this time Rep was aware of the sort of s**t that was lurking out there waiting to get in. If the lizard guy had just walked through the barriers, they probably were getting to the point where the other monsters could theoretically just ******** walk through too - these patrols were needed. It didn't make him any more enthusiastic about having to be the guy to do it, but if there was one thing he took seriously, despite what other people liked to think, it was his job.

Tracey was summoned as soon as he arrived, even in the pale wispy fog that meandered past the reach of the shields - seeming like a black shard of sheer midnight, red runes blazing defiantly against the choking greyness. The weight made him aware once again of the injury on his back, though this time simply of a tightness rather than a pain, the fallen angel had done his job.

He stood, eyeing the swirling space beyond the boundary for a time, not sure at all if he had the balls to go out alone, too proud to look behind him to see if anyone had followed to help him out - just in case they hadn't.

The fog was thick- even a short distance from the tent, it was pretty much like drowning. Thick and cold. Harrison limped behind Rep, B0nez's shorter blade held slightly in front of him, until he caught up and their elbows ******** freezing out here. They oughta give more jackets, like Batman's got ninja and aqua suits."

The doubt was unfounded Rep thought to himself. The way it always was. Wherever he was and in even the slightest bit of need, the other man just seemed to simply appear. It was the most comforting thing.

"Oh I dunno what you mean man. I'm pretty ******** cosy, right." he smiled toothily and fluffed up the hood of his jacket, the anxious look he'd been giving the fog seeming to melt away. "I have my own batman gear."

Oh hey, guess who else seemed to appear?

"home...."

The fog seemed to build in intensity, whirling around the two hunters until it parted, revealing a giant being hidden within. Two glowing eyes narrowed to slits, which drew closer to glare at both Rep and Harrison, followed by the rest of the dragons body. She snarled at them, bearing her large fearsome teeth as she then struck forwards, charging towards her prey.

"HOME!"

An unusually quiet figure was slowly creeping after them, a dim green glow permeating the fog. Jerry wished he had his rose now, it gave him a pep, extra eagerness for the world he was losing more and more of. He watched the two hovering close, talking amongst themselves to distract from the heavy atmosphere.

Roar was heavy on his shoulder.

With a small grunt, he shifted him down and clumsily up to his other shoulder.

You sure you can work me left-handed? The weapon warily spoke up.

"My aim's sepurb these days, thank you-" Jerry muttered but by the time he looked up, the mist had thickened, rearing back into a somewhat more solid form crying for home...

"HEADS UP!!" He suddenly bellowed.

It was time to test his left handed aim he supposed...

Apparently it was not the best, the shot soaring over all three heads.

Nothing like turning around to see a row of teeth and two maniac eyes aimed at you.

The look out came too late. The shot sailed well over their heads and disappeared into the fog.

"Walk, huh?" he asked, wincing but picking himself up off the ground as well as he was able. They needed to get the perimeter clear.

He looked once at Rep, then buried the short sword into the mist dragon's side, trying to steer clear of head, wing, claw, tail, hell everything was dangerous, and everything hurt- get it clear, get it killed, he reminded himself. And while it was curled towards him, Rep had a good chance of splitting it in half, before-

Rep should have expected a dragon, he really should have after running into the giant disembodied head dragon back on the island. But the fact of the matter was that you very rarely did expect them.

The strike took him entirely off guard, sending him reeling to the ground, picking himself up just in time to see Jerry's attack go wide of the mark. "Good ******** job numbnuts, just making it angrier."

He swung with Tracey and hit nothing but fog. He couldn't have looked more nonplussed if he tried. "I was just feigning an attack, just a warm up okay."

These ones...they were much stronger then the others. They had weapons. She did not like the weapons that glowed and threatened to cleave her in half. She hissed threateningly at the shot they went wide over her head, her attention momentarily on it rather then whom she was fighting.

The sword strike found it's mark. The dragon roared in pain, .swinging her large head to knock Harrison out of the way before her eyes saw the glowing red of the axe as Rep swung. She reared up onto her back legs to put herself even further away from the deadly weapon, and literally jumped over the two, fore claws landing first as she swung her body around to meet them, effectively slamming the third hunter with the bulk of her tail in the process.

"Begone with you!" She growled once more.

Jerry was sent tumbling back as the dragon lashed out, groaning as he rolled into a crouched position, weapon still awkwardly on his shoulder. Left handed. He could do this. It was just like the normal way but just... mirrored.

"Harrison, hold on! Someone defend him while he gets his bearings-" He babbled useless orders. They all needed defending.

Unfortunately, he really did need more practice aiming left handed. Roar's blast went skimming through fog, just grazing the creature.

Head, of course it was the head- Harrison was sent rolling out of the way, and gritted his teeth with the series of jarring impacts.

He had to get up.

But his body and his shield were taxed. He tried to catch his breath, knowing any short length of time could mean the difference, and shakily reached to his belt. He detached the medkit, and shakily unzipped it.

He could hear Jerry calling for defense.

Hold on, Harrison thought back, but didn't say. He sloppily applied more wrap to his torso, which had opened up again, and then a bandage- he felt a renewed flash of power and strength.

B0nez cackled madly in his head.

Rep couldn't focus. He was supposed to be attacking the damn dragon, supposed to be being a sun and doing his job. But as the dragon knocked Harrison aside casually, all he could think about was him. He let Tracey drop to the ground as he looked over anxiously, just in time to catch sight of him fishing out a medikit. Okay. Okay. He could do this. Harrison would be fine.

Raising the axe finally he spun around to swing the massive axe at the dragon creature, his back protesting the entire way.

he snarled irritably.

Pokerus ignored the stinging pain of Jerry's shot, letting the brunt of the blast pass her by. She also paid no heed Harrison. No, she was more interested In Rep, who's giant weapon had cut into her fog ridden body. With a savage snarl she stepped forwards, her moth opening wide. A moments pause, just enough to let him see her teeth, before her neck sprung forwards. She wanted to bite into the human, tear him limb limb for even daring to cross her path!

"Dammit, I'm trying my best here!!" Jerry howled frantically to his weapon as Roar gave his two cents to the fact he nearly blasted Harrison. "I'm just... not Left handed!!"

Harrison ripped off the last of the bandage of his teeth, sounding stronger already. His torso still hurt, but

"What, you need somebody who is?"

He fixed the empty medkit to his side, then pulled free his second blade. The dragon was entirely focused on Rep. Both suns were having trouble with the dragon, which was charging and thrashing all over the place.

"I'll try to pin it. You guys just make sure not to blast me."

He flipped the blades over to icepick style. His walk was still stiff, but with the dragon preoccupied-

His blades flashed just past the foggy hide, glancing it. Close up, it was hard to tell what was dragon and what was just fog. It didn't have real parts to fight or hold.

So predictably, just like Rep and Jerry, he mist.

Harrison said he'd pin it. Rep trusted him to do just that.



He knew.

There was nothing else to do but hit the ******** thing as hard as he humanly could. The pain in the his back was just a sharpening edge to his focus. it made everything more desperate, more acute.

He swung and Tracey connected with a thunk that made him smirk toothily.
