Not even my umbrella term is on the poll so I will tell you what I am. I'm a Roman Reconstructionist (Religio Romana/ Roman Way). I worship the ancient Roman pantheon in the ways that the ancient Romans worshiped. I base my rituals, mythologies, and practices on scholarly texts.

Oh! Hello, I used to go to synagogue with a Messianic Jewish friend, I loved it. I celebrated a few holidays with them as well.
Anyways, I'm a Christian also. Nice to meet you all. smile

I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but can you change "Mormon" to "The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints". If you must abbreviate it, its abbreviation is "LDS".
The word "Mormon" was given to my religion by the people who persecuted us and murdered many people of my religion. I just would rather you not put that up as our religion. I'm sorry, its really something I stand firm on, many of my ancestors where driven from their lands, their family's, and their inheritance because of that word. I would rather you said "LDS".
It's nice to meet you all! I love hearing about other religions. My best friend is Baha'i. I meet people from all walks of life, and loving every minute of it! heart

I'm a christian~ and I belong to no denomination (I've heard it be called "The restoration movement") Religion is one of the subjects I have most interest in~
It's nice to meet you as well. It's hard to find people that even know what a Messianic Jew is! Especially where I was born. The only others were my siblings. Over in Europe though there are quite a few of us, or at least there are where I'm at.

I was born and raised catholic, however I left Christianity and Catholicism for Shintoism.
I had a very negative view of Christianity because of the brutality and cruelty of my peers. However, since becoming a Shintoist my negative experiences have helped me find something still sacred and divine in my abusers. I certainly learned to not hold their actions against the masses. Faith is a blessing, but I don't know about you all, but when my family tells me how lost I am and that I need to find their god again, I find myself saddened.
I wish a family could be as spiritually welcoming as a forum!
I was baptized & raised Catholic. At this time I do not have a religious affiliation. I'm probably what you'd call a Deist, but there doesn't seem to be any belief system that fits me exactly. Maybe you could add an "Other" option to the list since its pretty difficult to cover everybody.
