they just dont want me to play the lead role because my popularity sucks o_o and the whole classroom is against me... they want someone who is super popular who cant sing reflection =(

I think it's going to depend on who does the choosing. If they choose on talent and you're chosen for the lead role, you're going to have to struggle with some resentment for awhile. But things may end up turning your way, once they see what you can do.

When I was in school I was one of two girls chosen to do speeches at graduation. I'm pretty sure there were people who were like, "why her?" I wasn't particularly popular, even among the smart kids. But I hung in there, because I knew I had been chosen for a reason.

If you don't get the role, and you feel you were unfairly treated, you may want to talk to a guidance counselor. Good luck! smile

It sucks. Sometimes thoses things happen, but as they grow up they'll become more mature and they should select talent over popularity.
Don't be too sad about that. It's just the wrong people that are choosing.
At my school whenever there was a artistic show, professors are the judges to select who can participate as well as selecting roles.
