Tobi hadn't really been watching the back and forth between the two teams but mostly knew what was happening from both the commentary and the cheers and boos from the crowd. A shiver rippled through him as a gust of snowy wind blew his way causing him to tighten his grip on his beater's bat for fear of dropping it otherwise. He needed something to do if only to stop the bone chilling cold from gripping him again. Tobi barreled across the field narrowly avoiding being caught in the chase for the quaffle to see a bludger just up ahead. Raising his bat his swung to aim towards Romulus.

Adalaide frowned when her first try didn't make it in, just barely. If she'd thrown it just an inch to the side... but oh, well. Couldn't get a do over, no sense pouting over it. She raced after Remy, readying herself to steal the ball, knowing it might be a long shot. The girl was good, and surely Ada wouldn't pull off such a hard steal twice in a row? But she had to try. That in mind, she spurred herself forward and reached out for the grab.

Iris turned her head as she heard Romy thank her for blocking the blugder from hitting him. She smiled and turned back to watch the game. Iris watched as her swing was spent back to her. She looked at the one that sent it her way. It was Tobi, a boy from her Advance Flying class. She wasn't going to lose to him and miss her chance to help out the team. She moved her arm back and swung her bat with the intent of hitting Arianna.

Ada's eyes went wide when she got the ball, just barely, from Remy. This game seemed like a total change from her last one. In that they'd essentially been playing keep away until one of the Seekers scored. In this one, they each seemed to be grabbing the ball by the tips of their fingers. But, not one to complain, Ada chalked it up to their skill. It might be her first year playing, but she'd been practicing for years. She smiled again and sped off to the goal. She was holding her own! Really, truly matching against her opponents, and finding herself actually measuring up! It was sort of awesome, actually.

Elli smirked at Adalaide and caught the pass. She sped farther down the pitch and waited til Remy had caught up, before tossing the quaffle to her captain and friend. They were going to win. Even if it took all of her efforts and she crushed her bones. They were going to win.

Ada smiled widely when Dhyl intercepted Elli's pass to Remy, and opened her arms for his pass. She got a bit of a mischievous light in her eye at Elli's failed interception, still riding high on her pride for being able to match brooms with the other players. She hadn't thought she'd do very well at all, but she was pretty decent at this after all. She smiled and made her way towards the goal, her eyes open for any steal attempts and waiting in case she had an opportunity to pass.

Ada evaded Elli with a smile, having more fun that anything else. Gone were her nerves and the need to prove herself. She was just having fun. It was a game, after all. Not that she didn't want to win; she just wasn't going to freak out every time she failed like she used to. That thought in mind, she zeroed in on the goal, determined to make it in this time.
