When Charlotte missed and lost sight of the snitch again she really considered just letting go of her broom. Surely the hospital wing would be better than this but that was risky. She just tried her best to find the snitch again.

Oh thank the gods above! Csuri's fingers curled around the frozen metal, before she looked over at her classmate. "It's all over, let's get the hell off this pitch!" She cried out, flying over to the ref to announce the victory. The whistle sounded, echoing around the pitch. Csuri flew to the ground, the girl trying to shield herself from cold. With no more adrenaline surging, the cold was brutal as hell.

Linsey was out practicing above the pitch well before the match was scheduled to start. There was no reason not to, since it was a bright, sunny morning, and the winds aloft weren’t too much to deal with. Today, the team needed to be on their ‘A-game’, as it were, since it was the last of the season for the Eagles, and they had their work cut out for them. Thanks to Lewis’ amazing catch in that frozen match against the Lions, they were still in the hunt for the Cup, and if they wanted to remain in the conversation, they needed to catch the Snitch and log at least two, and preferably three, goals in today’s match, and then hope the Snakes, with their wunderkind Seeker, didn’t complete their sweep.

Another reason to get up in the air early was it gave her the chance and the peace to focus on the task at hand, on the strategies discussed with her Vice-Captain, instead of everything else on her plate. When she wasn’t fielding class assignments, club responsibilities, and the myriad school-related projects she had going, she was sending Milan designs for the spring collection, and working up her designs for the competition in New York City. She didn’t want to disappoint Milan and Vera, just as she didn’t want to disappoint her parents, be anything less than an exemplar for Finn and Ella, and fulfill what she figured she needed to be for everyone else in her life. Thankfully, up in the air, all of that was just chaff and noise, distractions best left for another time.

When the time came, she made sure she was there on the pitch to greet the rest of the team, ready to offer encouragement with smiles and hugs, letting them know how much she loved all of them and they had her full support and confidence. No matter how things went, she wanted for this to be a good day.

Noreen headed to the field for Ravenclaws last game of the season. They needed a win this game along with a couple points on goal for a potential cup his year. It didn't seem overly likely to Nora but she was willing to block every shot that came her way. Luckily the sun was out and it was a decent day. Far better weather then it had been for sure. If everything went according to plan they'd surely be in business.

The weather was getting warmer and in Emily's opinion better weather for quidditch though it meant summer was coming. She didn't want it to be summer. She wished it would stay springtime forever. Summer meant her mother who had always been a bit of a wicked stepmother but has for the past several years (ever since Emily's magic first showed) been a wicked mother too. Almost funny that the witches were the good guys in this story. Emily let out a brief sigh and then tightened her ponytail that was topped with a yellow bow. She was as ready as she would ever be.
