Toli chuckles. "Come on, just dip your toes in," he says, cajoling her. "It's a warm day, the water will feel nice." He flips his tail playfully, splashing a few drops of water on her hair.
He's wondering if their children can breathe underwater indefinitely, as he can, but he's hesitant to try. If he put the boys underwater, she might freak out and take them away, never to return. But, he supposes, she'd have to return eventually. The sea is a part of those boys, whether she liked it or not. There wouldn't be much that could keep them away from the ocean for long.

The water was still cold and wet no matter what. "Ah!" Trager shrieked as the cold droplets hit her hair, even if it was a warm day, cold was still cold.
Dysmas started crying, startled by his mother's outburst. Trager scooped him up out of the water, but that only made it worse as he tried to squirm out of her arms. She set him back into the water and the crying stopped instantly, she couldn't help but frown. There was no doubt that at least one of the children was already attached to the water.
Trager looked at Toli for a while, he had a good question. She had been honest and showed him his offspring and he had been happy about it, but what came out of it now? What would happen to them or their children? Trager sighed, too many questions, and none of them had simple answers. She readjusted herself so that she was laying down on her belly in the sand. "I... I don't know...I could move closer to the water, but after that last storm we had..."
