I am in no way shape or form a professional baby sitter. I have not worked in any kind of kids area besides talking to them, so I have nothing to go on. I am babysitting my sister's kids for money until I get myself in school.
What should 4 year olds learn by now?
She doesn't know her ABC's, at all really. Unless she's pretending not to, which wouldn't be far from her. And she has problems listening and paying attention. Some kids are really good, others are not.
I babysit a 13 year old with rage issues
An 11 year old "diagnosed" with bipolar disorder and rage issues.
My blood niece number 1 whom is 10 and struggles with stuttering and EXTREME anxiety. It's slowly getting better, but even talking to her and catching her in lies she bawls. She literally sobbed over not having a certain thing for breakfast because she doesn't have good decision making skills. Well, almost no decision making skills at all.
And the 4 year old blood nieceis in all this chaos. She likes people reading to her, but my sister's husband is a dumbass and doesn't do anything for his kids honestly.
I don't like feeling like I am the parent and I even talked to my mom about it. I am willing to work with her, but I don't even get paid that much for this babysitting. I'm not allowed to ask for any more, either. Damn family, and mom blocking me for gouging my sister.
Any suggestions?
