I seriously love PS1/2 games besides Wii. (It's really the only games I am able to play that are RPG. Or World of Warcraft. Nothing real new age. I also don't mean Super Mario Bro's, cuz I can get help and understand that game quite a bit.)
Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Lunar Silver Star Story 1 & 2
Legend of Mana
Thousand Arms (I have it, but I haven't been able to go through it.)
Right now I'm on Lunar Silver Star Story. It was one of my first RPG games that I played by myself besides the OG pokemon (best damn games ever before they took a s**t) and FF9.

yum_tea For the PSOne, Final Fantasy Tactics, hands-down. Though really that console had a ton of excellent RPGs.
For the PS2, definitely Persona 3.

Kingdom hearts and Okami are the top favorites for the PS2.
Although I did like the sonic mega collection plus for the PS2. Reminded me of when the sega game system used to exist.
For PS1 it would have to be Legend of Dragoon.

My favorite games of both PS1 & PS2 is different from everyone else's favorites xD except for Spyro.

Here are my favorites:
Chrono Cross (PS1)
Final Fantasy VII (PS1)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
Okami (PS2)
Katamari Damacy/We Love Katamari (PS2)
Final Fantasy X (PS2) (Gameplay wise. I didn't care for parts of the plot and Blitzball.)
Kingdom Hearts series (PS2)
I would also put DDR, but only if it's a metal dance pad. I have to wear my shoes when playing because I'm used to my lift in my left shoe that I screw up when I'm not wearing them.

I haven't played many PS1 games, but my faves for PS2 would have to be Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Ookami, Final Fantasy X & X-2, and all of the Dynasty Warriors games!

There's a lot of games on those systems that I love; it'd be difficult to pick any one favorite! Or even a few. Although if I had to pick by how many times I've played a single game, it'd definitely be Dark Cloud 2. There's so much to do in that game and I enjoy it even after playing it dozens of times.
I am disappointed that there are two games I can't really play anymore. Final Fantasy IX because the game freezes up sometime during the invasion of Alexandria, and Tomba because it just refuses to play on a PS2 and I'd have to dig out my PS1 to play it again.

Sweet Peppermint Tea yum_tea If you have a PS3, PSP, or Vita you can download FF IX off of the Playstation Network. It was added not too long ago. I think it costs like $10.00 or something like that. That's cool! But I don't have any of those systems. The newest one I have is a DS. xd
