Why I love/hate the midwest.

Yesterday it was a high of 75 degrees F (24C). Today, it's a high of 34F (2C).

I got home from work around midnight last night wearing just a tshirt and jeans. I woke up at 10:30am to my car covered in ice and had to break the ice to get my door open.

Sounds like Florida, except without the ice most of the time. FL is super, super fickle about its weather. It'll be freezing one day and hot the next. Like 80 F and then 45 F lately.

But luckily, there isn't any ice.

I love Minnesota for this reason. Blizzards in November, Floods in April, and 'Naders all summer long. It's a weird kind of beauty.

We have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."

Seriously, we can sway 50 degrees in a matter of hours.

But for living in the "Tornado Belt", I've never seen a tornado before. We just get the weird weather it brings.
