A strange new classroom had opened up in the far recesses of the building, and in fact unless you happened to be headed out that way, or particularly lost, you likely wouldn't have passed it by at all. Which meant nobody had seen the room before in their life. That made it even more complicated when the strange flier had gone up in every hallway about seven times, plastered to drinking fountains, bathroom doors, windows, Cricket's insects, and the back of passing students (perhaps mistaken for 'Kick Me' signs more than once).

For some, the map likely made little to no sense - likely because it was drawn upside down on the paper, or sideways or - it was hand drawn on every piece of paper in a way that looked like an excited seven year old on their way to Didney Worl had drawn it in the car while bouncing up in down in the back seat of the car screaming 'I WANNA MEET MIKEY MOUS' for twelve hours while their parents contemplated their death.

For those fortunate enough to know the location of the library, however, it was the only labelled building on the map...oh wait no, this one had the gym on it and this one the cafeteria. Either way, students even inclined to visit this class and not get pissed off on their way there after getting lost through nine wrong left turns and a mis-labelled right that seemed to assume one could pass through walls would eventually come to a classroom that....

Was about as erradict as the map was, thick layers of dust edging their way around hurriedly wiped off desks and shelves, a chalkboard that had some questionable profanity and drawings of anatomical parts on it that looked about thirty years old, and boxes everywhere. Some were unpacked, set aside empty with nothing but the spare glowing insect inside of it, others were halfway through that state. The teacher's desk, pushed up to the wall backwards, had a few boxes on top of it stacked up so high you couldn't even see behind them if you tried. A quick check around these boxes would reveal there wasn't a secret professor hiding behind them. Another quick check inside of the boxes would show he wasn't there either, but a few death imps stuck their heads out when the snooping began.

The contents of the unpacked boxes were arranged on several rows of shelves, which looked to be newly installed and immaculately so, around the room - books on various academic topics, cook books, strange model skeletons of species that many students would have never seen before, jars of strange amoeba-esque creatures and parts floating in discolored liquids of all hues, along with various other collected oddities. A few of the desks for the students also had boxes on them, but each desk was very carefully cleaned off, the surface polished to a nice shine that many could see their reflections in (for those who had reflections).

On the chalkboard was written in red chalk in a very carefully articulated, and what looked like rewritten several times until it was up to whomever had written its satisfaction, script was:

Do you take a seat?

PostPosted: Thu Nov 22, 2012 8:50 pm
Since it seems like there is nobody here, it'd probably just be alright to take whatever seat. Probably before the professor actually comes back from...whatever it is they're doing. Huh.

Out of Character
If you sit in the front row of desks, say so and by whom. There are 7 desks in the front row. Make sure I can see it! This is important!

This class will officially begin on Wednesday, January 9th, so act quick to get in! (But don't worry, as your students can enter at any time.

Staff are also invited to come. In fact, they might have had post-it notes left on their desks encouraging them to come for some reason. A lot of post it notes.

Seventeen post it notes per staff.

In different colors.

Potentially with notes of 'hostage' items to be reacquired for their participation.

A few moments later a ghost in a bright green shirt came stomping into the room.

"WHERE IS MY OTHER EYEPATCH?!"

PostPosted: Sun Jan 06, 2013 12:10 pm
Wearing a slightly new hat, sitting properly in the fifth desk in the front, was the cat-god, Jack-B, wondering why this class had already started with yelling and stomping.

How exciting this would be.

Sucked for Mischief, the professor wasn't in there yet. There might have been a Death Imp hanging from a light fixture wearing said eye patch tho.

Shun had wandered in by a whim. But this is not the eyepatch you are looking for.

Serafina cracked her knuckles, puffed out her chest, and walked into the classroom. It was probably about time she started taking some of the newer classes. Did taking the newer classes mean that she was more en vogue? That probably really wasn't how it worked unless they were really nerdy here. Were they nerdy here? They didn't seem to be.

Why was she rambling?

Deciding to sit where she would get the most attention, Serafina sat herself in front row, center (fourth desk). Couldn't hurt, right? The more she got noticed, the more people would talk to her, the more people she could find out about and the more she could rise up the ranks...

She shook her head. No no. She just wanted to be known. Right. Ignoring her ever-growing concern about popularity. She crossed one leg over the other and leaned forward, curious about whatever professor could possibly be this disgustingly disorganized. Were they really so new that they couldn't even put their stuff away? Disgusting. She could probably organize this nonsense for them. Maybe it would get her in the teacher's favor. Then again, with such disorganization, would she want to be?

She flicked a glance over her shoulder to the boil next to her, offering a small wave in Jack-B's direction, before facing forward once again.

Seriously, did people have to be so loud? This class might be ... interesting.

Tomoko was already prone to getting lost. So an awful map to get anywhere actually didn't help her at all. Thus, the little kitsune had ended up.. well.

Everywhere, actually. The other bathroom. Arel's office. Jack's room. The cemetery. Didney Worl (not really).

But she seemed relieved when she finally looked into a room and was greeted by the sight of Jack, puffing her little chest out as she - what was he wearing on his head? She practically tunnelvisioned on the hat, frowning. "You better have brushed your hair before you put that hat on!" she pouted, moving to sit on the desk behind him and pulling the hat off and a brush out of nowhere to start her morning hair-assault.

By the end of her little journey, Meixiang wasn't even sure she was in the right place after having traversed the entire school. Ending up in some not so favorable places that the Jiang Shi would really rather not talk about.

Of course well, when she entered the room there was already somebody shouting and she merely gave a small chuckle, moving to sit in the second seat of the front row. She folded her hands inside her sleeves and placed them in her lap.

Dark brown eyes slipping quickly across the room as she eyeballed the students who had found the place earlier than she had. The entire mess of the room was amusing, but really she came to expect the unexpected from these classes and the teachers who ran them.

It always kept you on your toes. Now to wait...

After getting a look around the room, it seemed that the professor wasn't in. It also apparently was a new one, seeing all the unpacked boxes and the like. Shun went on to sit in the back row, away from the others for now after getting a feel for the place. He didn't know what he should be expecting from this class, but given that he didn't know anything about who ran it or what this was supposed to be... just about anything could happen he supposed.

TG was probably hard to spot, but had walked in when he had been taking a nap in class and woke up to see that someone had stuck a flyer to his horn. It had taken him a good 15 minutes in the boil's bathroom to get the blasted thing off, and when he read it, he was determined to find out who would use his horn as a letter holder.

Walking in, the short fire imp moved to the front row because it was where he usually could actually SEE anything, and he spotted a ghoulie that basically determined where he would sit. Crawling up to the third seat in the front row, he sat down and looked at the chalk board.

"So anyone know if this professor is hot?" He asked, looking around. It was the only reason to go to class really. If this teacher wasn't packing some curves, he was going to nap again.

Considering Alexander had pretty much traversed every area of the school by foot looking for the class, it was perhaps a bit of a miracle that he somehow managed to find the classroom not only on time, but before the professor had even arrived. The mess, to him, was barely even noticeable as he shuffled his way across the dusty floor and to the front of the classroom, pulling out the chair for the first desk in the front row next to Mei and plopping down in it.

He then turned to offer a large grin to the small undead ghoul, reaching out to muss up her hair like he might do to one of his younger sisters.

"Hey. Getting back into the swing of things alright?" He asked, while tapping his index fingers on the top of the desk, wondering what this class was even about.

Somewhat uncomfortable--he'd been out of classes for quite some time, after all--Aedan made his way into the classroom, almost sneezing at the dust that lingered in the air. Glancing at the chalkboard, he shrugged, then made his way over to the seventh seat in the front row, wondering just what he'd gotten himself into. The flyer, along with a currently-snoozing Actaeon, were in his bag, along with a notebook and a couple of pens...just in case the first one ran out of ink, of course.

Slouching in his seat, he looked around the room, slightly curious. He wasn't sure how he'd gotten the flyer--he'd felt someone press it into his hand in the hallway that morning, but hadn't seen who had given it to him.

Mei was happy at least to see a familiar face. A very familiar face.

Though perhaps not so much when he ruffled her hair, to which she puffed out her cheeks and gave him a squinty glare before grinning. Smoothing out her hair so it wasn't sticking out all over the place. She didn't need to look scruffy.

"Yea, slowly but surely. I figured getting into a class or two would be a good idea since I haven't much idea of what to do with myself lately." Her shoulders rose in a slight shrug. Leaning over, she jerked her chin to the desk and all the boxes. "I wonder what that's all about. Is there a new teacher lurking about?"

The ghoul was only slightly prepared to be surprised when it came to classes. Which really, by now, she shouldn't be surprised at all. What really surprised her is when a class was pretty much a breeze. Which she could really only recall one.

With no hiccups. Gnome deaths. Or loss of limbs.

"There's a new class! But it is very hard to find," Terra said over her phone. She was calling Angeline--as she'd promised. "Do you want me to come and help you get here? Or I could call my hermano!"

She looked around, not recognizing anyone--except Shun. And Shun she had just met briefly.
