The gym at Amityville served several functions. It was a large, covered area that could turn into several varying things: a court for a game of bruteball, a ballroom for a dance, an indoor pool (when the floor was removed), and sometimes it's even a hospital for an after fieldtrip stop.
Today however the invisible floor was covering the pool, turning it into a simple gym. The bleachers had been pulled out from the wall to provide a raised place for students to sit.
In front of the bleachers Red sat on a bar stool, most likely absconded from one of the many bars in town. Next to her was a large chalkboard with the words "TAKE A SEAT" written in large orange letters on it. Red seemed preoccupied with a clipboard in her hands.
ACTIONS: Take a peek at what she's working on.
It looks like it's a bunch of paperwork. The word "ɹoʇuǝɯ" seems to pop up a lot, but it's difficult to read upside-down.
Ask Red what's going on.
"Take a seat, I'll brief you once everyone has arrived."
Ask what she's reading.
"Paperwork. Nothing exciting."

- As a reminder, IC actions will have IC consequences. Some of these consequences may result in good things happening to your character, others may result in bad things happening to your character. If you do not wish to chance it, then it might be best to skip this class. Bad things that may happen may include (but are not limited to): being kicked out, afflicted with a status effect, GM'd dissipation.
- There is no timeline set as I am horrible at timelines.
- Fieldtrip involved! No character limit.
- Latecomers will be welcomed until a certain point. Said point will be announced.

When Shun heard there was a gym class, he was intrigued. That meant that Red was back in action as a professor. Unless.. someone decided to take that spot despite her being here. After finding out when they were supposed to be meeting up, he made his way to the gymnasium, where he saw the werewolf waiting on what looked like a bar stool by the bleachers. He raised an eyebrow at this.
The Reaper glanced towards the chalkboard here, wondering if physical activities were really on the agenda for the day. It was hard to say for certain right now... especially since he had never had Red as a professor prior to the first Haunted House expedition. Well, he may as well see what this is all about in any case. There was still some chance at some form of training here.
"Back in action, I see," he said quietly to her, before making his way to the bleachers to stand in the meantime.
Jayden had heard there was a gym class starting, he was not sure really what would happen there but since he joined a class anyways he thought why not join another?
He was not particularly fond of sports. Sure, he surfed and skateboarded but he did not call that sports, he called it having fun, but despite the fact he didn't like sports he did like to be active, even work out when he could. So he thought he would be join anyway.
Walking in the gym he noticed a student and the professor, he was glad the gym was particularly empty. A great time to find an empty seat. Walking to the bleachers he found a seat and waited to be told further instructions.

Roch was on house arrest--but that didn't mean he couldn't go to classes, right? He just had to keep away from town. He didn't foresee that being a problem, so he stepped into the gym and dropped down on the bleachers, kicking his feet out in front of him and leaning back against the metal bench behind him, bringing his arms up so his elbows rested on it as well. This was, although he was a hob, his very first gym class. He was looking forward to it.

Terra stepped into the gym, looking around hesitantly for someone she knew to sit with--and only seeing Roch. So she sat alone, digging through her bag to make sure she had all the things one might need in a gym class--but seriously, she had no clue what those things might be.

What would today's class bring? Xiu had no idea, but she was definitely there. This was the first time that she would be attending one of Red's classes, and it was something that she had regret not doing sooner last year. Just in case, she didn't want to make the same mistake twice.
So here she was. Upon entering, her attention immediately focused on the students who were already here. Shun, Roch, and Terra all received grins and waves, and the student who she didn't know--Jayden--received a pleasant smile. Moving forward, she sat down in the bleachers right behind where Shun was standing.
"Hi, aniki," She chirped in greeting, before turning to look at the unfamiliar boil. "You're not a familiar face. Are you new here, perhaps?" She asked, her voice cheerful, "Welcome to Amity!"

A couple students had shown up after he arrived. Two of them, he didn't really recognize. Shun looked over Terra and Jayden carefully, then turned towards Xiu as she greeted him. He nodded quietly to her in turn. A part of him felt like she was too quick to simply assume new faces are really new students and nothing more, but he said nothing on the matter.
"Decided to jump in on this too?" he asked. Well that much was obvious, but he did wonder if she happened to know more about what the agenda was. After all, the only details he knew were that there was a class and it was to meet here at this time.
He was sitting quietly, leaning back, patiently waiting for instructions, when he heard someone speaking to him. Well he wasn't the talkative type but he wasn't rude. So he turned his head to look at the ghoul and nodded to her. "Thanks, today is my first day."

Shun earned a grin and a nod at the question. "Of course," She chirped, "I wanted to see what it would be like. I'm pretty excited, to be honest." She cast Red a curious glance as she watched her eye the clipboard, but then she shook her head and turned back to the new student when he spoke up.
"Oh--that's exciting! I'm Xiu, by the way," With a smile, she stretched a hand out for him to shake, "And you are...?"

It felt odd to be in the gym again after so long, giving it a long look. In her mind, she'd been expecting it to look the way it had the last time she'd looked at it - filled with little hooded 'tents' for students to be divvied into based on how they were faring and.....
The scar between her shoulders burned, reminding her of the pain that had been inflicted there as she carefully crossed the floor, pausing to glance over Red's shoulder to see what she was working on, a small tilt to her head, before she quietly took a seat, looking up towards the ceiling thoughtfully.
Then back to Red. Then up again...then to Red. Every time she looked back it was almost as though she was expecting the werewolf to be replaced with a different professor still.

Exciting? He wasn't sure why she found it exciting but he supposed it didn't matter, maybe she had some reason to think of it that way. For Jayden on the other hand it was, far from it. Although he wasn't nervous, he didn't like being new because when your new there's a lot you don't know, and he didn't like not knowing things. He stared at the girl for a while, it was usual for him to be shaking hands with anyone, but then again it wasn't usual for him to be talking to anyone not an animal. Of course it was the polite thing to do though, so he stretched his hand out to shake hers. "Jayden." He stated flatly, as if that one word was suppose to explain everything... "Nice..to uh, meet you..?" He once again stated flatly, but this time with a small hint of confusion. Because he was really new at this whole..communicating thing. He was very smart, but isn't usually talkative, so he has little experience in greetings.
Shun continued to watch the new kid while he spoke with Xiu. When the baku replied to his question at first, he nodded to her. He had only heard rumors of how Professor Red taught. Now it was time to finally see it for himself. Though, it also seemed that she didn't have too much of an idea of what was in store for them either.
Seeing someone approach Red, the Reaper looked up to see Shehk quietly making her way around. He just sort of nodded to her lightly in the meantime.
Hearing the new student speak again, his gaze shifted back to him briefly. Was he simply socially awkward, or was something else going on here? His good eye narrowed slightly in suspicion.

She noticed his hesitation, but didn't say anything about it. There were always students--especially new ones--who were nervous on their first day, whether they were simply shy or uncertain how to socialize with their peers. Certain that he would quickly grow accustomed to Amity's diverse--but friendly--student body, the ghoul grinned. "Likewise! It's nice to meet you, Jayden."
The baku turned then, and had been about to introduce Shun when she realized that the reaper was...er, well, glaring at poor Jayden. She stared at him in confusion for a second, and then realized what it was that was likely bothering him. Clearing her throat loudly, she not-so-subtly elbowed her "big brother". It was okay to be suspicious, b-but glaring was a little...
"Uuh, Jayden, this is Shun. He and I are both third years here at Amity."
He noticed the other reaper staring at him, and turned his gaze towards him. Of course he had noticed him before the ghoul had shown up, he was there before Jayden himself was even there, but Jayden hadn't said anything to him, simply because the reaper hadn't spoken to Jayden. Well now that the reaper was glaring at him, Jayden guessed he would be the first to speak, though he really had no idea what to say. As he heard Xiu speak he looked back at her and nodded. "I'm Jayden." He said to shun, as he looked at him. "Nice to meet you.." He stated flatly because he figured that was what he was suppose to say but he wasn't sure. Being glared at on your first day..that can't be good.

Gym class. It just made sense to be there. And there was even a small sign that clearly indicated exactly what the first step of the class is. So Riley did exactly what the sign told her to.
She took a seat on the bleachers, and waited patiently for some physical education.
Shun soon felt an elbow hitting his side. Turning towards Xiu, he furrowed his brow while he caught her look. He just sort of let out a sigh at that. Shifting a bit, he looked back towards Jayden once he was introduced. Right.
"You too," he said in response simply. The reaper had relaxed somewhat. Or rather, he just reverted to his usual stern expression so he wasn't quite actively glaring anymore. It wasn't a huge difference, though.
