What do you HATE about Christmas?

decorating is number one
my mom is a decorating freak. everything has to be just so, and if you do it wrong, she yells at you. i tell her to do it herself, and she gets mad.
she just told me to put my stocking on one side, where the cats can't get it. now she's saying that the cats will get it.
but overall, i see decorating the inside as a waste of time, unless one is hosting a party. then, only small accents will work, not this mess-stravaganza she has to have each year
even outside, i don't see the point of having 80 zillion lights, unless it's an attraction. i've been to a few myself, and our house becomes a reference point when the lights are on for the fire department, and we used to get tour buses going down our out-of-the-way road to see it.
but really, i don't see the point.

The only decorating we do now is just put the tree up. We stopped doing lights and stockings years ago. But what I hate is the crowded stores. I hate bumping into people, I hate when people don't watch where they are going. I hate being behind people with a shitload of things and I only have five or less items. I hate the parking lots and people who can't drive or ******** navigate and want to be nice and hold traffic behind them for another car to go even though they are the ones who have the right away.

I'm starting to hate the overdone cliche movies and specials that make Santa look like a ******** idiot. At this point Santa in movies don't apply to the verse: He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good so be good for goodness sake!

BULLSHIT!!! Santa don't know s**t anymore!

I would have to say the biggest thing that annoys me is going to a place for christmas that you are pretty sure is not going to snow there, but once you are there snows a good six inches and having no snow supplies with you. xp

Honestly for me it's putting up the tree and sometimes decorating.

I didn't want to put up the fake tree this year figuring me and my grandpa went shopping for those small real ones. However my grandpa always gets what he wants like a spoiled child. I hate how he used my moms love for Christmas against me. Am like seriously dude just because we don't want to put up the tree this year doesn't mean we're hurting my moms feelings.

Is it messed up that I don't want to put up the tree every year for Christmas?

I hate that it ends so quickly. The day after Christmas no more christmas songs, no more chtistmas movies. I think I just hate the christmas spirit ending crying

I hate the movies too but watch them they're awful in a funny way and I sit and predict the plot and do funny voice overs much to the amusement of my little sister. Then there are the people, the season of caring, sharing, and good will my a** emotion_donotwant They are the MOST rude around Christmas time.

Decorating is fine. Its the removing after this holiday that's so tiring. I also hate the cliche and recycled Christmas movies. I yell at the screen like "Isn't there something new?"

I have nothing to hate. I love Christmas. Always puts me in a good mood. I don't do much decorating, just a tree. But I love looking at the houses that go all out with lights. I love the music. the only thing I can think of is the crowded stores. But even that doesn't bother me too much.

As for the cliche Christmas stories, yeah I suppose, but there are some that I really like. Such as The Santa Clause 1 and 2.

Personally, I love Christmas. I just love the spirit and the decorations! I feel that the decorations are traditional and holy depending on what the decoration is. I love the feasting and the time of year is perfect. Wintertime is such a great time for Christmas in my opinion. The snow gives the holiday season a little more of a boost. Mainly because all of the children are children are playing outside and adding an exciting edge to the season. The music sounds great as well, and I absolutely adore all of the movies that come on every year. It's a kind of tradition in my family to watch the holidays shows every year. If I had to dislike one thing, it would have to be putting all of the decorations away because then I know that I have to sit through another year before Christmas season arrives again.
