If you've been keeping up with my random here-and-there blatherings lately, you may recall that I mentioned that it's been raining lately. Well, it is raining no more; we are back in full-on winter mode and it's kinda depressing.

The really bad part, however, is that because everything was all wet and rainy yesterday, it all froze into a millimetres-thick layer of ice on top of everything. EVERYTHING. The sidewalk today was SO slippery! I had to do the goofy penguin-walk that people do when they're walking on ice... not an ideal situation when you're late for the bus and trying to hurry to the bus stop without slipping and falling on your behind...
