Pae'il Name: Gaspar
Power Category: 1. Shaman
Chosen Power Name: Summon Forest Spirits
Power Description: Gaspar can summon forest spirits which allow him to discern the health of plants. The spirits don't communicate verbally, but via gesture and "vibe". Gaspar will build his "relationship" with these spirits in order to more accurately understand them and interpret the health of whatever he is asking about. Only Gaspar can see them, which is probably fine, as they can be a bit creepy if you don't already know what they are.
Weakness: Gaspar does not control the spirits. Once summoned, they do what they like and disappear whenever they wish. Gaspar can try to summon them as often as he wants, but the spirits may (read: will probably) stop responding if he bothers them too often.

Chosen Power Name: Eject Toxins
Power Description: Kyrie can create a substance which, when ingested, causes a pae to forcefully expel toxins (and/or Taint) from their body. It's not a pleasant process, but it's effective.
Weakness: The substance she creates is a powder, which then must be mixed with water or another liquid to be ingested. Obvious drawbacks to inducing vomiting. She's also an archivist so this isn't going to come up super often for her lol.

1) Traveler's Ditty: When playing folk music, he can summon trickster demons with the power to entrance others into making merry.
2) Sharknip: Sharks near him will find themselves with an overwhelming desire to feast upon him.

1) Squid's Camouflage: She can use bioluminescence to match her skin to the water to hide.
Combined Powers Element: Water
Power Category: Aquakin
Chosen Power Name: Cuttlefeesh
Power Description: Nanna has bonded with the cuttlefish, granting her its vision and venom.

She can close her eyes to change her pupils between her regular ones to the smoothly curving W-shape of a cuttlefish. When like this, she can perceive the polarization of light, which enhances her perception of contrast. She can more accurately discern depth/distance and lacks a visual blind spot.

Her venom is present in her blood and, via this, her muscular tissues and internal organs. It is not in any other bodily fluids (e.g. saliva). It is a potentially-lethal neurotoxin that can lead to nausea, respiratory or heart failure, paralysis, blindness, or death if it enters the bloodstream of a creature without natural resistance to such toxins. Naturally, she has such resistance. OOC: If the effected creature is another player's pae, obviously rp involving injuries, wounds, or other sources of potential exposure would be discussed beforehand. Her blood is green-blue in color due to its use of hemocyanin to transport oxygen rather than hemoglobin.
Weakness:
She is unable to see colors when using cuttlefish vision - everything is in a grayscale.

Due to her blood's lower affinity for oxygen transport than regular blood, she has a substantially higher resting heart rate than a typical naiad and grows tired and "out of breath" more quickly. Injuries will take a longer time to heal and have a greater immediate and lasting effect on her. Also, being literally toxic will make it substantially more difficult to be physically close with others.

Chosen Power Name: Cuddlefish
Power Description: Aysun has bonded with the cuttlefish, granting her its skin and ink.

Aysun can change the appearance and texture of her skin incredibly rapidly; within one second. She may use this ability intentionally, such as to camouflage herself, but her skin also will change involuntarily to telelgraph her emotional state if she reacts strongly (as with surprise, disgust, fear, embarrassment, delight, etc.).

Additionally, Aysun can eject a cloud of dark brown ink, either to create a "smoke screen" to hide her escape, or as a shape similar in size to Aysun herself to act as a decoy. Her ink sacs are stored in the back of her mouth, near her tonsils.

Weakness:
Aysun is able to change her skin above-water, but it won't have the desired effect unless she practices frequently. Because her skin uses three layers of skin cells, plus extra muscles, to change coloration, she has a lower sensitivity to touch, unless the skin is broken, which causes hypersensitivity. This also makes her somewhat clumsy.

Besides being embarrassing to eject from her mouth, her ink is both edible and delicious. Aysun herself, however, has difficulty tasting salty or umami flavors, because her mouth low-key tastes like that all the time. Ejecting ink is mostly an on-command activity, but if she gags she will do it involuntarily.

Scroll Power: Crescendo - Sindri can cause himself and others to become the focus of attention while creating music.
Weakness: His power is only activated while he plays music, and it ALWAYS activates while he plays music. It can be any kind, including nervous tics like humming or whistling - however, he cannot piggyback the effect by changing how he's creating music (e.g. switching between playing a flute to singing a song). He currently has no control over who near him becomes focused on, and he currently can only have this happen to 1 pae at a time.

This version is the dominant of his competing abilities - if he is not consciously or unconsciously thinking about the disappearing aspect, the music will have this affect.

The change is gradual, not instantaneous, and reverts back in the same manner and at the same rate of change.

Since he has to be creating music for the power to activate, it's limited by his own physical endurance.

In the future, I'd love for him to be able to consciously prevent it from activating or to allow it to extend to more than one pae. Perhaps something to allow the sound of his music and/or enhanse the sound of the affected pae while it's activated would be nice to develop as well.

Power Category: Geomancer
Chosen Power Name: Icey Handshake (MA Milkshake brings all...whoop what?)
Power Description: She can freeze things, so simple but so many applications, used in small doses on the daily to make up ice cream!
Weakness: Limitations are she can only freeze liquid to solid, no ability to freeze living things, "kryptonite": Hand warmers?, Her ice touch comes from her hands and being unable to touch what she is trying to freeze makes it not work. As for energy she is slightly taxed by minor uses, she uses it in small doses and doesnt see an exhaustion, however if she were to try and freeze a whole lake or something it would exhaust her and she would probably end up tired and bed ridden. She will not try to freeze a lake at all... this is just an example of an overuse. xD But were she to expend that amount of energy it would cause issues for her. Again she is only trying to make ice cream... not Naiad popsicles!

Chosen Power Name: Water Wings
Power Description: Nereus can create wings on her back of water, drawn from the water in the air or around her. These wings function as both a defense in blocking attacks and allows for limited flight.
Weakness: If made from only the air with no additional water source, her wings will be small and weak. They won't be able to carry her weight in flight and could only glide, and only withstand minor physical attacks before breaking.

Chosen Power Name: Absolutely Stellar
Power Description: Tempest Spiral has bonded to the Stellar Jay, giving her a strong and steady ability of flight without requiring much flexing of her wings and the ability to imitate various sounds in order to trick enemies that a bigger danger is near. Birds, jays in particular, are also drawn to her. She can also turn into a Stellar Jay.
Weakness: Since Stellar Jays are very loud birds, she has a hard time controlling the volume of her voice at times, especially when excited or happy. Turning into her jay form doesn't really grant her any bonuses. She just looks real pretty!

Before she could figure out what had happened, a bird had flitted down to land before her, cocky and loud, showing off its crest and magnificent blue plumage.

"Hello little one." Tempest smiled, holding out a hand as the bird hopped on. She laughed, letting it take place on her shoulder. She flexed her wings and noticed they felt...different. Stronger almost, as if she had been through years of training. And as the bird on her shoulder began to make a cacophony of noises, she found herself humming along, her own voice now identical to her bird friend. Tempest smiled, grinning to herself, a new spring in her step.

She could dig this. Oh how she could dig this.

Power Category: Shaman
Chosen Power Name: Radioactive
Power Description: Attor can put a minor hex on a paeil, causing them to temporarily glow a sickly green and feel as if their skin is on fire. Because of this, his blood also grows green and is hot to the touch, making his neutral body temperature warmer than most pae. To activate this power he must spill a drop of his own blood and have it soak into the ground where the target has previously stepped.
Weakness: Healers can cleanse the curse. Colder environments will lessen the burning sensation, causing the pae to simply glow instead. He is now slowed in colder temperatures, much like a snake or hibernating reptile.
