Room
Blake's dorm looks rather bare... Upon further examination, one can tell that it appears to be a dusty, cobwebbed mausoleum. It is full of hidden nooks, crannies, crevices, cracks, alcoves, and niches, all of which lie heavily in shadow. The only lights in the room are the smoky torches stuck at odd intervals in rusty sconces, making the shadows dance about eerily. Above the floor is a loft inside a dark recessed alcove, access to which is a series of narrow steps hugging the wall. This is where Blake rests.

Bio
Name: Blake Nicknames: Nightshade Gender: Male Age: 15
Faction/Race Ghost (Shade)
Personality: Blake's a bit of a goofball. And a bit... rough around the edges.
OMGSQUIRREL: Short attention span, easily distracted, restless, ADD/ADHD, call it what you will. Life on the streets has made his mind active and his body restless. Staying put for too long could mean dissipation in his world.
Trickster: Blake loves to pull a clever gimmick. And then deny ever having done such a thing with a straight face (if caught). Either he's the mastermind behind the prank, pulling the strings, or does it all hands-on. Nobody is safe from his gimmicks. Nobody.
Well-mannered: Once in a while, Blake can be a true gentleman (or try to be; street-style though). Including trying to help others, such as visitors or the newly enrolled. Don't be fooled by his background.
Focused... Or Not: If the situation warrants it, he can be serious. Though he tends to get bored easily, especially when it comes to things like studying & schoolwork. Unless it's something that fascinates him. Then he's all-in. Otherwise... he'd much rather be elsewhere, doing something. If he's going to do nothing worthwhile (in his view), then it Jack'd better be of his own free will.
Why is he enrolled in Amityville Academy? Blake heard that if one attended this school, one had a better chance of visiting the (ever-elusive) Human world... Sweet. Though he'd never admit the real reason... Learning how to use his FEAR. The greater mastery one has of their FEAR, the more respect (and power) they held. At lest, that seemed to be the case on the ramshackle streets Blake grew up in on the outskirts of The Collection alongside a rag-tag group of other ghostly boils his age. There may be safety in numbers, but it always helped to have an edge against the older, more powerful & experienced denizens roaming the same streets as he & his crew. Therefore, if Blake can master his FEAR and become stronger, he'll be able to protect his crew better.

History
Due to his being raised on the streets, Blake's education is... limited. Every day the primary task was to survive; therefore, the focus on "education" was more on how to live on the streets than the more traditional schooling. The crew he lived with bartered in the form of trading goods/services or filching anything they could get. Due to lacking possessions, they did what they could for fun with what their species' varying natural abilities were. What he loved to do most was freerunning & parkour. It enabled him to stay active in mind and body, as well as making it hard to peg just where his next step would be should there be someone chasing him after he filched a rather nice pair of shoes... That, and it's hard to find a shadow hiding within a shadow. The crew he grew up with were all Ghosts, Spirits, and a few Elementals. All of whom were boils (if one could assign a gender to an Elemental...). When the crew he grew up with (whom view each other like family) found out he could attend Amityville Academy, they all pitched in and traded, bartered, or filched what they could and managed to gather up an outfit for Blake that didn't look like it had rotted away in some forgotten crypt.
