That doesn't make sense but I have a question. So I got introduced to the exchange forum and people told me that people like to buy low off of others and sell high in the MP. I saw fox ears at the very last page for 400k when this item is just now 5k. It was 9k when I first got an account up here years ago. before BG came out.
But anyways apparently they are willing to wait forever until people buy their items which I don't get because people are always buying and selling low or high but not that high and thus their listing will just expire over and over. So why do they do it?
The thundercloud dress I want is set at ten million but the sellback price is 15k which makes me think that the dress is really not worth that much.
But yeah I want to know why those users/sellers do what they do and is it possible this dress really is not worth ten million and that the user is just one of those users who are willing to wait forever for someone to buy it?

I'm not sure what can be said about the Fox Ears. Maybe someone had tried inflating it and failed since there are just way too many of them in the system now, plus new ones are getting added in every day. They used to be rarer back in the day, but that was years ago when "animal parts" were scarce and people didn't have much to choose from. Now we have all kinds of options, so they're cheap.
With the Thundercloud item, it's new. Someone is trying to bank off of a user who desperately wants it right now. Since they probably have one of the few (or only one) on the site, they're trying to get as much as they can out of it, though in all honestly no one will buy it for 10mil, it's just not worth that. Considering the prices all the other Luck Chest items are at, these items will drop to that range sooner or later. The only reason anyone has priced it that high is because there aren't that many on the site yet and since there are people who will want it -right now- they want to see how much others are willing to pay.
Some people are willing to wait a long time for items to sell, but it's usually on items that they know are low in number and their's will more than likely be the only one up there sooner or later. Something like the Fox Ears, or anything else that has pages in the MP, people usually tried inflating it and just kept their listing up even though it failed, or the person is just silly (and/or stupid) because if there are like 20 of the item on the MP yours will not be sold at some high price when there are 19 others for a reasonable price.
As for sellback, some items are given a sellback value to make sure you can get something out of it and get it out of the system, or if it's selling in the MP for less than the sellback, you can just get the most of it that way. The dress was probably given that low of a sellback because it's going to be common sooner or later.

I'm glad I won't have to quest for that, the mint sundae was the highest and only highest quest I ever wanted (and completed). I'm not going no higher than two million anymore.
But anyways thanks for telling me this, it was odd when I saw it at ten million and then the sellback just being so low because I feel like the sellback is half the original price so maybe that dress will be around 30k or 100 something k.

On the item you want, it says it's from a Luck Chest, so maybe since there's no way to get it now, the price seems attainable for the seller. Especially since only one is on MP.

You're welcome! I wouldn't worry too much on the dress. That same person selling it in the MP also got the Riot Shield, another one of the new items. If they could pull two already, I'm certain the dress will drop in price. It might take a while, but it'll definitely drop. As far as I can tell their highest offer has been 180k on the dress, which isn't that bad on the first day. More will flood the system, you definitely wont have to pay an arm and a leg for it. ^^;
