Important Plot Points:
_____Hatching and Early Childhood: Sparrow is one of the first harpies to have been discovered in Telrunya, though their actual identity remains unknown to all but a select few. She hatches in Twinkleshine's alcove within Laisidhiel, but soon relocates with her mother to a new home near the beach. There she meets Uncle Atlantis and becomes best friends with another harpy named Aella. Life is simple, but nice. _____Flight Lessons: Twinkleshine takes Sparrow to an acquaintance from her homeland to learn how to fly. _____Abandonment: Aella and her mother Aladora decide to leave in search for answers about what she actually is. Sparrow is not told why or for how long they will be gone, only to wait for their return. Unable to control her hurt and frustration with the situation, she reacts violently towards nearby vegetation and animals. _____The Guardians: Sparrow meets the angel Crystal and learns of the religious theology of The Guardians. Though she scoffs at the idea, part of her wants something to believe in and she keeps the notion in the back of her mind. _____Sister of Three: Twinkleshine confesses her pregnancy with Ocie, and all of Sparrow's emotions bubble over. From watching Atlantis become so hurt, to seeing the father move in, to seeing the kids born, her anger and distrust continues to grow. Her mother becomes the personification of all her hatred for pae'll on the island. _____Aura Nin Mountain Climb: Sparrow leaves her home and family in the night, leaving nothing except a single, hastily-written note to explain herself to Twinkleshine. She leaves for a hiking adventure. There, she meets old and new faces alike. One night, she finds herself stranded at the top of a mountain with another teen named Wild Moon. They make their way back down and are stopped part of the way down by a spirit which declares them as worthy and leaves with them a strange book. Upon nearing Laisidhiel, they part ways with the promise to meet again. _____Adulthood: [to do] _____Venus' Engagement Party: To seek out her origin, Sparrow attends one of Venus' infamous parties. It is as crazy as the rumors state, and she is pricked by numerous arrows that cause her to act in impulsive and uncharacteristic ways. She leaves after the goddess Eris appears with a pair of large, snake-like pae'll and numerous smaller ones. _____Mother of Two: Sparrow gives birth to two harpy girls. She names them Nighthawk and Steller Jay. Due to the nature of their conception, their other parent is unknown. Steller Jay is the fist to hatch, so she becomes the favorite of the children. _____Haunted Mansion: After a passing hearing of the occasion, Sparrow attends a Halloween party at a mansion deep in Loki Nei Jungle. She has a few passing words with the angel Haukea before a drowsiness overtakes her. Sparrows will first scratch a hole in the ground with their feet, then lie in it and fling dirt or sand over their bodies with flicks of their wings. They will also bathe in water, or in dry or melting snow. They are mostly active in the late evening and early morning or at night and feed on moths and other large flying insects.
