First, I want to say that I will take a break of Gaia when my internet bill for the month is over, because I want to help my mom to decrease expenses. There is a bunch of stuff I want to hear advices and/or opinions from you guys before my break.
1. My family (cousins, aunts,uncles) don't get along with me and my mom. They don't help us when we need help they say they are busy.
My mom and I don't have a lot of friends. Friends help us when they can. Friends can get busy and in the end they got annoyed to help my mom.
That's why my mom and I often feel left out, like there's no one to help us.
2. I am in the search of a job so I can become fully independent or at least help my mom. So the issue here is that I am jobless even if I put effort in finding a job.
3. I really hate when my mom says there are things that woman can't do , we need a man. I made a thread on this before, I just forgot where it is.
Anyways, my mom and I are weak women.
Example : Two light bulbs died. So the appartement is pretty dark in the hallway. The structure of the lamp (I dunno how to call it exactly it's fixed on the ceiling) is really hard to remove to change the light. After 2 weeks, my mom wanted her boyfriend to live with us. Since he was living with us, my mom asked him to change the lights. He was only able to change one lamp. The other one is too tight, he tried many times but the structure won't come off.
My mom said : See, that's we need a man ! Even him can't remove the 2nd one !
4. I dislike my mom's boyfriend, but my mom keep lecturing me that I should be nice and create a family environment for him and her.

1. Maybe they get annoyed because they think you are not putting in the effort to help yourself.
2. It's tough on everyone now and days to find a job not just you. You just have to keep looking and read up on job sites on how to go about following up after putting in applications and such. Sometimes they call you back months later. I get calls back months later. I don't get the job but getting an interview means my application is decent. If you haven't try snag-a-job.com. And this site too, the lik is on the interview follow up page, but they have a lot of links at the bottom Link
3. Your mom sounds either old fashion or just lazy and you sound like you just go with it as well. And a light bulb has nothing to do with being weak or being a woman. I can only assume it was not one of those common ones where you just simply unscrew it and screw it in a new one, those are the only ones I know how to do.
4. You dislike him why? And there is nothing wrong with being civil at least. Just because you dislike someone doesn't mean you have to like them but at the same time you don't have to openly dislike them either.
