Tears Of A Black Sun

Have you ever wanted to be part of something bigger then yourself, I cant promise it will happen again.. But if it doesn't.. if this story fails I want you to know there's no one to blame.

Some Roleplay's take on a soul of there own, its because each person in it puts a piece of there soul into the story and together we craft a legend in word's.. I have characters that on Gaia that have become legends of there own.. But they have been laid to rest.. wings of fire will beat no more... The dead that will not die will reap souls no longer.

So if you want please come with me to create a new legend.

I am a simple soul.. I dont shake easily.. and I don't require much.. Follow my easy rules and enjoy.

1.) God-modding is fine.. In fact characters that are larger then life are more then welcome.. But your character has to be stoppable.. remember even Goku's life ended.

2.) I am a lit writer but im lazy and type slow.. SOO this is a Semi-Lit RP.. please don't join in if you can't match our posts.

3.) Not only am I lazy but I have a life beyond this world.. so do you I hope.. I will try and post once a day.. i can't ask anymore then that from you..

4.) don't have to wait for me to post.. just jump right in,

~The Stuff you want to know~

I hate profiles.. I think they limit everyone and spoil things you don't want to share.. However if you want to post something about your persona that you think needs to be shared feel free to PM me it and I will post it.. below?.. Other then that if your reading this your already accepted and feel free to start posting.

Now your asking but what do I post.. This is a tricky part that makes or breaks this method.. The RP is what you.. yes YOU make it.. the world is crafted as we go by what you make it.. It becomes what we want when we need it to be.. Just roll with what people post and it will all work out.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.. about anything.. But its really as simple as this.. if you can imagine it.. you can bring it to life here..

So that's it I guess.. And before you ask yes i've done this before a few times as a matter of fact (not at why not mind you) with mixed results but with the exception of one time the results have been either the RP explodes into a amazing story or crash's and burns hard.. (the one other time it kinda just fizzled out due to inactivity).

Eureka breathed alas, her eyes opened with a shock at first. It seemed like centuries since the last time she had opened her dark eyes, which looked around the ceiling of the room, trying hard to put together what she could remember since the last time she was laid down to rest. She could almost feel the blood course through her veins, her heart beat and her lungs expand as she laid there in the quiet, white room. Her memories of old were there, yes, but recent events seemed confusing and blurry to her. The incoherentness of her thoughts made Eureka express a look similar to fear. She had seemingly forgotten she could move, being so long that she had been asleep.
How long was it?

Eureka moved her head, her neck craning as she gained new insight of where she was. A blank white room. It was dark, but that was as much as she could gather. A pair of doors were on the opposite, farthest wall from where she laid. But this room held no secrets. Probably the most mysterious thing in this room was Eureka herself who remained still as she gathered her thoughts.

"My lady..."

Eureka's eyes fleeted to the familiar voice. A man stood there, handsomely waiting as he looked at her respectfully. She sat up slowly, ignoring the man. Silently, she stood, her eyes looking directly at the door. She lifted her arm, her fingers lifting as she looked at the door with a look of control.

Nothing. Eureka looked slightly disappointed and strode over to the door herself, her hands holding the handle gently. She opened it after a minute of standing there. And then there was light.

[ Thought I'd start out sort of vague, to build the story up from here. You can make whatever you want from it. ]

((forgive me if its a little rough.. its been a while since i wrote anything confused ))

~Koda & Genju~

"Need a light?"

"Koda" A voice without body or face feeds through the intercom into a room of darkness.. It's owner has never been to the room his voice resonates in and is told by people he deems more powerful then himself in this world that he is never allowed to do so.. "Koda.. its Doctor Drow.. Can you please say something."

He waits for what seems like a eternity listening to the silence that screams at him louder then words that have ever been said to him by another human.. "O..K.. We wi.."

"Mister it's so cold in here".. A response for the first time in the doctors short career, a voice so quiet and young it comes out almost a whisper against the static of the microphone on his end, adrenaline races through his veins like lightning as he hears it, his hands begin to shake from his excitement.. it takes him a extra attempt to hit the button to speak on the intercom this time.. "Ko--Koda, am I speaking to koda" he manages to stammer out in his glee.

"It's so cold in here" the boy's voice echo's back almost exactly as it had spoken before.. Drow leap's from his chair in anticipation, hes been waiting so long for this moment, he has so many questions, in his mind this was not a moment to be sitting.. "I've been waiting so long to hear you talk koda"

almost immediately the voice of the child responds as a echo of itself again.. "It's so cold in here" Koda pauses and the doctor reaches for the button again but is cut off "its so dark can we turn on the light's" as soon as he finishes speaking he repeats himself but the sound does not end as his lips stop, the question resonates through the doctors speaker again and again.. it gives up on waiting for itself to be heard before it begins again and now overlaps its own speech as a endless chant and then stop's with a resounding crack and fizzle that bears something distinctly electronic giving into death.

Silence once again fills both room's leaving the doctor for a loss of words.. everything happened so fast he didn't have time to record anything.. he knows he wants to write everything down before he forgets any detail not that he will ever forget this moment in his life. He whips around like a giddy school child to grab his pen and paper.

"It's so dark in here" a chill runs down Drow's spine as every pore on his skin ripples in terror.. his eyes slowly raise from the ground setting upon a child in the middle of the room, the boy looks to be about 13 to him, his hair a gleaming blonde almost to the point of white is greasy and uncombed it, the boys arms lay limp at his sides as his own eye's don't lift from the floor, the child has no cloths spare a set of chains that bind his hands attached at the neck, notably thick and heavy looking they almost seem to weight more the child himself and he stands with a posture to match.

Koda raises his head just enough to allow drow to his see his lips curl into smile.. The doctor however doesn't have enough time to even comprehend what hes seen as the lights in his office slam off flooding the room with darkness for only but a brief moment.. as the illumination returns seconds later only Koda is left standing in the middle of the room.. the chains on the floor at his feet.. Koda turns at a sound he has not heard for a time longer then most peoples lives looking over his shoulder as the door to the office heavy and metallic swings open revealing a hallway to him.. and a girl.

Eureka's lashes fluttered, her pupils adjusting to the room. The original room she was in was much brighter, whiter...However, this room was by far more interesting. She glanced back at from where she came, the man she thought she saw there no longer there. It confused her, a figment of her imagination of a person she held once familiar in her head. The pedestal from where she slept for eternity looked like a coffin to her, having confined her for so long.

And then she turned, slowly, gently, to the room before her. There was an odd fixture of lights that bothered her, but she paid no heed to them, only the two before her. A look of amazement and fear. No, she did not merely see them on the look of the older man's face, but felt them like wind on her skin. It was in her head that she could hear his emotions, his heartbeat which raced like a thousand horses, and sweat peeling off his skin as he turned aghast to look at her now.

The boy was as naked as she was, yet she was not bothered by it. Unlike the boy, she had no chains. Possibly, the fact that she was asleep for centuries meant no need for bondage. She watched the boy a bit, who looked alarmed at the sound of her entrance. She did not recognize him in the slightest, not even the former who slowly stood to take a look at her body. What was once so weak and tired was now fresh and youthful. Yet, Eureka's features did not look so dissimilar since she first arrived here. She still held a woman's face, a tall and slender frame, with the same dark eyes that held a look of indifference.

Eureka stood there for a long time, before her eyes looked to a door. It was silent, a bit off putting, but not the least bit awkward. No, there seemed to be a mood of awe, an intensity so utterly indescribable that there was partly no need to speak at all. And Eureka understood it all. It was a solemn prospect, saddening her to the point to actually show a melancholy look on her face. She lowered her eyes silently, a little in thought, before looking up again. Alas, she spoke.

"I opened my eyes just recently. It's been awhile," she commented lightly, her eyes now focusing on Drow, her dark eyes piercing the man before her.

~Koda~

~"Who says I cant be afraid of the light"~

"You two need to get back into your rooms, no one said it was ok for you to come out" Drow blurted out under the pressure of Eureka's eyes, he had intended it to come out commanding and authoritative but even in his own ears the words rang hollow and weak "I said you two ne-need to get back ba-back" he tried again to the same result, words he knew were going to fail him so long as either of these two beings before him remained, His thoughts drifted to the a pistol in his coat hanging on the hook only a few feet away, in his mind it would give him strength and protection, it was what he was trained to do in this type of situation "You can do this steve" he whispered to himself under his breath "on the count of three.. one.."two..three" Drow's mind bolted like a mad man only to find it left its body behind.. defeated by its own flesh and blood it returned him defeated.

The young boy became absent minded of the human as Eureka made her presence known, she was something so much more then he had expected to find, He turned fully towards her unabashed by his lack of cloths much the same way the girl seemed to be, For a moment he only stood frozen in place much the same way he had to Drow only moments before trying to decide if the girl was going to be a threat, he had heard rumors there we're other creatures in this place as old as he was and some held power well beyond his on a level of destruction they could cause..

"Gen says your old miss lady.. he says I should play with you" He pauses to raise his head to Eureka, The shadows run down his face like a thick goo clinging to the dips and ridges at points and others runs through the valleys of his pale skin almost as thin as water bringing the boys face to life before running off his jaw and nose dripping onto the floor and chains thicker and darker then the midnight sky, His eyes however refused to relinquish the darkness creating two seemingly endless pits of shadow where his eyes should be.. he offers her the best smile he can muster, it lacked the distinct warmth of any actual compassion behind it.. "do you want to play with us"

((Drow is disposable razz ))

A coward, it seemed. Eureka was unamused by the human's attempt to sound authoritative. She put a hand on her hip, watching him with a look of dominance. Even in her glory days, she had a domineering effect on men. The demand of going back to her room meant nothing to her. She was there for far too long. And the purpose of that room no longer served her. After all, she was an inhabitant of that room voluntarily. She guessed that she was unlike many of those here, who were probably forced here or perhaps even created here. She frowned at the thought, knowing well that her form was most likely used as a model for those which were tested.

Eureka, however, had no choice in the matter. She was weak, and her days as a powerful being were limited to her coming here. She had no choice but to come here to recover, even if the cost was a little research. However, after being asleep for so long, it occurred to her that coming here also had some...other detrimental consequences. Time had stopped for Eureka, but not for others. She could see it now in this room. Things looked so foreign.
New, yes, but unfamiliar.

Eureka's face was solemn, clearly showing in her expression. Her lips formed a soft frown as her brow made a little wrinkle. Her eyes held some old emotions in them. She knew that the world she had once known had probably died. Long forgotten. She turned, to once again glance at the coffin she had remained in for so long. The figment of imagination of a man she had once known had proven to her that she was not in a time of her own. She turned back around, now her attention on the boy.

He seemed to be observing her, and she didn't blame him. She was actually curious of his deductions, rather. Eureka watched him, a beautiful boy he was. And the darkness of his face, it oddly gave her a sense of curiosity. What was this boy?

"That is true," she replied to his first question. She decided that this boy...had two people in him. There was a word for it in her time, but she did not remember. Even so, Eureka thought it would be best not to tamper with this boy, because she knew this institution bred beings so dangerous.

Now addressing the latter question, she brushed a piece of her long hair behind her ear. She could feel it. Her body was stressed. It was why she fell into such a long slumber in the first place. She glanced at Drow now, knowing he wouldn't have any answers to her questions. He was only human. Her attention drifted back to the boy. "Play?"

~Koda~

~"Who says I cant be afraid of the light"~

Koda lifted his shoulders as high as he could under the weight of the chains only to let them drop again under the pull of gravity in what was sure to be the most difficult shrug of his life.. "Play" he repeated to her with a voice eerily reminiscent of hers.. "No not play, Gen is saying that is not the right word".. His head dipped slowly recasting the shadows over his entire face as he fell into thought.. it took a moment of searching before he sparked back to life with a gleeful bounce.. "No, not play.. Eat.. Gen says we should eat.. you should eat" The boy took two large labored steps to the side creating a open path between Drow and Eureka and motioned almost comically towards the human to her, the chains binding his hands together forced him to use both at the same time making it look more like a tiny dance as he thrust them out forcing him to throw his weight into it by throwing the rest of his body slightly back.. "Play" he repeated more as a question this time then as a statement mimicking her voice almost exactly this time.

It was at that moment that Drow suddenly allowed himself to accept he was going to die, his mind had figured this out a while ago but refused to agree the realization overwhelmed his steel, His knees buckled under his weight down weight dropping him to the carpet with a heavy solid thud from the concrete floor beneath the flimsy un-padded material.. colors began to melt before his eyes the walls and carpet bleeding into the lights and desk into a mess of blobs, the only sure thing he could pick out in these moments was that being one hundred percent sure the boy he had called Koda all these years stepped to the side the shadow of the boy persisted in its location moving devoid of flesh counterpart.. "Th-Thats not possible" he blurted out lifting a hand that shook worse then off balance washing machine pointing to the shadow on the ground.. "None of this is possible.." his hand dropped back to the ground in a fist slamming against the carpet in a anti-climactic unsatisfying smack... He began to sob uncontrollably at this point, tears streamed down his face in a torrent.. "PLEASE JUST GO BACK TO YOUR ROOMS" .. "please just go back to your rooms".. The fear got the best of him in his break from sanity causing his bladder to release itself at this point releasing the pungent unmistakable odor of urine into the room.. "I don't wanna die" he pleaded with the shadows of his own mind before curling into the tightest ball he could form.. "i dont wanna die" he tried to say again but no sound came out this time, his lips continued to form these words without sound as Drow rocked back and forth on the ground.. "I dont wanna die.. I dont wanna die.. I dont wanna die..I dont wan...."

Eureka moved forward, watching the boy get a little antsy. She understood it a little bit more. It made her slightly regretful of her decisions in her past, but alas, there was no use in trying to change it. It wasn't like she could.
She lowered her eyes, feeling a little pity for Drow, who cowered in his humanity. There would be nothing to save him now. Eureka's sympathy and like for humans had dulled over her lifetime. She used to protect them, since they were so weak and destructive. Eventually, she learned that as the human race grew, they cultivated themselves and had gotten stronger. She guessed by now that her race was probably long forgotten.

She sighed at this and bent near Drow, who curled himself in a ball. Humans never did seem to change their insides. She patted him on the shoulder. "Thank you," she murmured. "But I can give you nothing in return. Your work here at the institution has proved to me that you only reap what you sow. Your death now will judge where your gardens will grow." She then stood, looking at the boy.

Eureka felt no sense of hunger. No. That wasn't it. It was just that she was picky with her food. "Eat," she offered, motioning with her hand towards the man who attempted to order them back to their rooms. She found no reason to and left his side, attempting to fully ascertain this room. It was a research room, surely, but Eureka understood none of it. She looked at the blinking lights and boxes, and the feelings she got from them were...nothing. There was no life. Eureka suddenly felt very uncomfortable with all this and paid more attention to the other door. There would be more like this boy here in this place. She wanted to set them free.
