The world had an answer to the demonic entities that began to flood the world. The Dragoncorns made the uncomfortable decision to fight the demons with an equally destructive force. Nastusia had been willing and intelligent enough to try to outsmart the demons. The other Dragoncorns let out a sigh of relief and turned their attention from the demons to allow Nastusia to do whatever she felt was appropriate.

Nastusia could be found rummaging the edges of the forests, diving into the depths of lakes and picking out scraps from trash piles. In the very beginning she was often dismissed as mentally unstable. She would rant and rave about how she could find a deadly poison that could wipe out the demonic race without much fuss. No one believed her and soon she was spotted with a long beaked mask that she had stuffed with herbal remedies to filter the air. She was convinced that the air that escaped from the lungs of the demons was contagious.

It wouldn't be long, however, before others saw the genius of the poison solution. She would graciously lend her knowledge to the ones who were willing to scald their hands, test their elixirs and stretch their intelligence in the name of goodness and purity. The group grew slowly, but the intelligence of the members would form a solid base to grow upon. The adults would encourage the youth to excel at their studies and to surround themselves with whatever ingredients they could get a hold of.

The members are known to be reckless in the name of goodness and purity. They don't hesitate to use their poisons to destroy the demons. With fluid movements they effortlessly sneak into the darkest of places to discretely apply their poisons to the demons.

These days, they are well respected and feared by the other Dragoncorns for their intelligence. The Poison coven can be accused at times for being self centered and often times holding a grudge against the other covens. The poison coven had been criticized as crazy for ages by the other covens, but now that they've proven themselves they slink amongst the other Dragoncorns with a chip on their shoulders.

Nastusia surrounds herself with her coven and is rarely seen by the outsiders. She oversees the experiments of the eldest of the coven members. She's so elusive that she is often seen as a legend rather than an actual figure in the coven.

Rules of the Poison Clan

1. Thou are to NEVER use your poisons, elixirs or healing potions on any soul with a good alignment.

2. If it's a demon or associates kindly with one, they are our enemy and shall be treated as such.

3. Should you find a target, alert a minimum of 2 coven members prior to any sort of attack. We are not responsible if things end badly for you if you do not follow proper protocol.

4. Should you find a mate from outside of the coven, we expect that one child should be raised as one of our members. This is non negotiable.

5. Should you choose to leave our coven, we expect a FULL explanation why. Otherwise you and your kin will forever be banned from our coven.

6. We don't tolerate any disrespect to ANY member. Nor shall we any blatant disrespect to elders of other covens without cause.

7. Matings with other coven members are a reason for great celebration. It will gain you and your family great respect within the coven as well as an automatic jump in hierarchy.

Who we Accept as Members

We accept the enlightened, the curious and the talented. Should you possess talents with poisons, remedies, elixirs or toxins...we would welcome you with open arms as long as you are aligned with goodness. We don't have the same open-arm policy to allow bad aligned applicants in. The only way we'd allow an evil applicant in is if their parents is already a member and both have undergone thorough testing.

The only exceptions will have to go through Nastusia directly.

Nastusia:

Her long tails swoops broadly behind her, poking out from beneath her heavy brown cloak. While she waited, her two hands were held in front of her as she examined the cleanliness of her hands. There was dirt evident on her hands and beneath her claws. Her lips drew in tightly beneath the mask and she quickly rubbed the palms of her hands on the dress beneath her cloak.

She had been in the woods that morning to gather some mushrooms that had begun growing after the recent rainstorms. Now, scattered across her desk was a pile of mushrooms and a few empty vials picked up from the apothecary. She had rushed back to the coven upon request from the members to review applications and to interview the applicants.

Small Bio: She's always had an interest in poisons, even as a small child. Her favourite way to poison is with cyanide in food she makes herself. The flavor and smell of the food hides the scent and flavor of the cyanide. Visha's been known to use poison berries as well, such as white baneberry.

Nastusia: *eagerly greets the new applicant and hands her a few sheets of paper*

"The rules are simple. Don't use any therapies, poisons or ointments on the good. However, if it's a demon we expect that you display your animosity as much as possible to them. The destruction of the demon race would be our goal."

Nastusia smiles beneath the mask and flicks her tail.

"Welcome, sister, to the Poison Coven."

Specialty: Breeding Poisonous Frogs
Small Bio: Dartania enjoys getting down and dirty, whether it's climbing trees to capture frogs or underhanded tricks to debilitate an enemy. Though generally outgoing and sarcastic, she has a cruel streak when it comes to demons, leading some to believe she may have a personal history with them.
Why the Poison Clan: "Why the Poison Clan? *smiles calmly* I know how to breed poison-arrow frogs and give them the proper diet for max efficacy of their toxins. And, well, to be honest, no one wants to hire someone who's only interest is breeding these particular frogs for virulent poisons."
Do You Have Current Love Interests: "No worries ma'am. Breeding my frogs is a near-full time job, I don't have time to be dallying around with some boy who thinks his life is over because he missed a party and doesn't understand the dangers these demons pose to our world."

Nastusia:

Bows her head deeply and slides the application onto the desk.

"Of course you are accepted, Dartania. I would be high interested in seeing how you utilize these poisons against the demons. I've been keeping an eye on a certain number of demons who have been behind some foul actions. They are beginning to notice our coven's movements, so you must act with discretion."

Nastusia moves to the desk and glances up again at Dartania.

"We have yet to establish a formal hierarchy, but I am rarely out of earshot of the happenings of my coven. It will become quickly apparent to me who rightly deserves higher titles in our coven."

She shifts behind the desk the lifts the mask over her fact and her face scrunches up for a moments as she speaks.

"It is only a matter of time before we find ourselves in an escalation with the demons. It would suit you to remain prepared."
