I've been out of school for two years, nearly two and a half, and now I'm in biology class, which is the thing I least studied while homeschooling myself.

Anyway... Can anyone put simply what chromosomes are... possibly why you put the capital letter in front of the smaller letter in Punnett squares? I'm a bit confused as to why that ALWAYS has to happen.

I tried to google it, but I got a bit confused... I'm not exactly that bright, at least when it comes to science. Anything about biology for tenth graders would be appreciated. Just please, put it in simple terms. Thank you.

PS- I'm not just relying on all of you, I'm looking though a biology book and some sites on biology found on google.

Thank you...
